The small cottage had come into view. Smoke billowed out from a red brick chimney, the clear sign that his mother was either cooking or baking again. She absolutely loved to do both. He wouldn't be surprised if she'd made something special for him and Kame, as she knew they were coming, as well as about what time they would be there. Well, really she was making it for Kame. Honestly, Fang felt more like they were going to visit the other boy's mom rather than his own. She certainly seemed to like him more!
Growlithe was by this point looking rather weary as they approached the house, and Fang quickened his pace slightly in order to get there a little sooner. He knew the pokemon needed a rest, and he was more than happy to give it to him. He'd earned it after all.

As soon as the cottage came into view, Kame was clearly excited as he hurried on ahead without a single weird to the other boy. He was quite eager to just get to the house and greet Fang's mother in the way that he usually did - with a hug and a cheeky kiss on the lips or cheek. Sometimes he would spend hours talking with the woman, but he knew he did not have that long today, so he wanted to make the most of things while he could. Not to mention he wanted to see what the woman was cooking or baking - the smoke gave it away.
The boy rushed on ahead, and around the back of the cottage, to go through the back door in the hopes of surprising the woman. He sneaked around the edge, until she came into view, and then he quietly moved towards her, standing behind her and reaching his hands forward and over her eyes. "Guess who?" He asked, his voice rather cheeky and playful.

Anadel Soundera was currently mixing the dough for another batch of chocolate chip cookies. She didn't hear the door open, nor did she notice the sound of Kame's movement as he approached from behind. A slight sound of surprise escaped her lips as his hands covered her eyes, but the male's voice calmed her as she realized who it was, and she exclaimed in delight as she set the bowl of mix down an turned about on the spot, "Kame dear!" She shouted, immediately wrapping her arms about the boy.
Fang followed the two in, rolling his eyes at the sight of Kame and his mother. The action was one he tended to perform a lot around his friend. Growlithe followed him in front behind, and Fang gestured at a rather comfortable looking squishy chair in the living room, which was directly connected to the rather spacious kitchen they were now in.
"How are you honey?" Anadel asked, squeezing the male tightly before releasing him. She was in her early forties, but looked more like she was in her thirties. Her hair was long and blonde, although at the moment it was done up in a messy bun. Her skin was a perfection complexion of white, void of any wrinkles, and her eyes a dazzling emerald green.

Kame could not help the chuckle that escaped his lips as Anadel exclaimed his name and turned about to embrace him. He immediately returned the action by wrapping his arms about her waist and pulling her in close. As he did this he moved his head and kissed his gently on the cheek, in a rather too-affectionate manner. But that was just how he and Fang's mother were. They were like best friends really! And Kame always had fun flirting with her, even though he knew that it was wrong ... Oh well, he was almost eighteen, so it wasn't that bad ... Right?
"I'm great!" He answered, currently unaware that his two pokemon were peeking out from his pockets and staring at him and Anadel, obviously a little confused. "And you? You're looknig as beautiful as ever." He'd always been a charmer, and he was great at chatting people up, but he'd never had any girlfriends (or boyfriends). All the same the girls seemed to like him a lot - again though, he was more interested in Fang.

"Wonderful!" Anadel responded cheerfully, a quiet chuckle escaping her lips in response to Kame's compliment, "Oh thank you." She replied, "I do miss someone telling me that. I'm so lucky to have someone as cute as you to visit sometimes!" She smiled, as she too enjoyed flirting right back with Kame. She'd never let things get serious in any way, or even joking to the point of inappropriate. Never anything physical, aside from the hugs and the occasional welcoming kiss. But she did love pretending!
Fang sighed quietly, and slipped past the two, "Hi mom." He said as he did, reaching into the bowl and grabbing the spoon, from which he drew some cookie dough. He didn't get a chance to eat it however before his mother released Kame, and spun about to hug him about the chest, "Hello my handsome boy!" She greeted, her head turned so that she could see Kame, at which point she winked. She was well aware of the boy's affections for her son, and she also knew Fang wouldn't appreciate being hugged, or addressed as 'her handsome son.'
Upon releasing him, Fang glared half-heartedly at her, and grumpily at his cookie dough.

It was always fun messing around with Anadel, because although it was never anything serious and it was all for fun, he knew how it annoted Fang, and embaressed him, and for that simple reason Kame would continue to do it. Really Fang was lucky, because if his brother were around then things would be a lot worse - his brother was in his twenties, so more Andel's age, and he wouldn't be joking with her either, but there'd be touching and weird comments. Sometimes Kame worried about his brother, but he just decided that the man was just too loose.
"Well, I do love visiting you." He told the woman, glancing at the two as the woman hugged her son, and grinning as the woman winked at him. "I wonder if our children would be as cute as Fang." He teased. He didn't mean anything by that - it was just a way to call Fang cute without it being too strange. If it were up to Kame however, he would think of much better words than 'cute'. He was in love with Fang afterall.

Anadel smiled at Kame's response. She loved when the boy visited as well. Of course she loved when Fang stopped by too, but her son seemed less interested in her, and more interested in whatever she had for him, like she did this time. She giggled quietly at Kame's comment, turning to look at Fang, who was by now glaring murderously at the both of them.
With a scowl, he turned back to the bowl of cookie dough, grabbed the spoon, scooped up a good chunk of it, and retreated back into the living room. He made his way over to the chair Growlithe was lying on. The pokemon stood and allowed the boy room to sit, before lying down again, halfway on him, halfway on the chair. Fang took a piece of cookie dough and offered it to the pokemon, who happily ate it.
Anadel leaned close in toward Kame, "Is he being nice to something?" She asked incredulously.

Kame merely smiled in response to Fang's glare and watched him retreat into the living room with the dough. He watched with eyebrows raised as the male sat with his Growlithe and offered it the cookie dough. His jaw dropped slightly and he could not help but feel somewhat jealous, though at the same time he found it rather cute and a small smile found it's way across his lips as he watched two. It really was rather cute, and Kame hoped that he would see more affection like that in the future. I t really was something.
He smiled at Anadel's words and leaned in close to repsond, "Yeah ... I wish he would be that nice to me." He admitted. He was sure that Anadel knew his feelings towards Fang, as she was a smart woman, and Kame found himself telling her a lot of things.

Growlithe happily at the cookie dough, whilst Fang went about taking bite out of the clump on the spoon. The boy purposefully kept from looking back over at Anadael and Kame, not interested in hearing anymore of their playful flirting, or comments about him.
Anadel chuckled quietly, nodding in response to Kame's words, "Oh, don't we all." She responded, brushing her hands against her black apron to clean them off, "Now then though, I'm sure you want what you came for, huh Fang?" She smiled, and started forward, making her way through the living room and over to the other side, where a small table contained several items.
She gathered them up in her arms and went to sit in the chair next to Fang, "Come on and sit down, Kame." She called to the boy, letting the items spread out in her lap.

Kame sighed quietly before forcing a smile to his lips and watching as Anadel went into the living room. He waited where he was, watching from inside the kitchen as his two pokemon peeked out of his coat pocket and were watching events unfold. It would really be nice if Fang was nice to everyone, but Kame really just wanted the boy to be a little more affectionate towards him. After all it wasn't nice being in love with someone who did not feel the same way about you, and Kame was constantly around him because he couldn't stay away, regardless.
The blonde smiled as Anadel called him over, "Coming." He repsonded, quickling hurrying into the living room and taking a seat, as Pichu and Happiny climbed out of his pocket and came to sit on his lap.

Anadel seemed about to say something, when she took notice of the two tiny pokemon on Kame's lap, "Oh how adorable!" She exclaimed, her face lighting up with excitement, "They're so cute!"
Fang groaned quietly, bringing his hand to his head as if to expel a headache that had magically appeared, "Mom, can you stay focused please?"
"Oh hush Fang. It's not everyday I get to see such cute pokemon as those two!" Not entirely true, as she was a breeder, and had plenty around. But she didn't have any Pichu or Happiny. She smiled at the two little pokemon, before glancing over at her glowering son. Rolling her eyes, she leaned back in her chair, "Oh fine." She said, picking up three pokeballs and offering to him, "A Shinx, an Umbreon, and a Totadile. They're all level 8."
She glanced over at Kame, "I have plenty of pokemon hunny, if you want to chose one."

Kame smiled in responde to the female's words. "Oh! I'm glad you like them! Pichu is a little troublemaker but I think he just wants attention, and Happiny ... Well he just started following me!" The boy informed Anadel. He didn't catch the Happiny, but the little pink thing seemed to like him a lot so Kame ofcourse was not going to complain. He supposed the pokemon was just grateful that he saved him, which was fine. Kame loved that he had been able to protect a pokemon - though really it was thanks to Fang and Growlithe aswell.
He watched as the woman picked up the pokeballs and offered them to Fang, but his smile grew even wider and he bit his lip with excitement as the woman said he could have one to. "Really?!" He asked. Getting Kame to choose between pokemon was always going to be a task though, "I'll be happy with anything ... But preferably something that's vute." He mused, "I've always liked Vulpix's ... And Eeveelutions. Eevees are adorable! But really, I like anything. Why don't you choose for me?" He would have anything the woman had to offer him, and would be grateful for it to.
As he spoke his little Pichu climbed out of his pocket and mischievously made it's way over to Anabel. Once he reached her he climbed into her lap, and then upwards and along one of her arms to one of the pokeballs, which he proceeded to poke.
"Pichu!" Kame called, sighing quietly. That thing was too curious for his own good.

Anadel smiled in response to Kame's explanation of his pokemon, "Oh how cute!" She replied, truly finding it to be. The little pink pokemon had just stuck with him? She loved it!
Fang took the pokeballs that his mother offered him, glancing at the three remaining in her lap. She must have brought those knowing that Kame might be interested in one of them.
The woman nodded in response to Kame's words, but was not given a chance to respond as PIchu skittered over to her, climbed up her lap, and pressed one of the pokeballs. She let out a quiet squeak of surprise as the red light flashed, and a Glaceon appeared from the pokeball.
"Oh, well, what about him?" She chuckled, "The other two are a Jiggilypuff and a Clefairy."

Kame thought it was rather cute to, and not just the pokemon following him, but the actual pokemon itself. It was still sat in his pocket for the time being, which was just fine with Kamekai as he liked having it there. His smile faltered however at his worry of Pichu - that naughty little pokemon was such a troublemaker and he was almost afraid that it might attack Anadel with some kind of shock attack or something. He seemed to like the woman however, as he was now sat there staring up at her with his head tilted.
Kame's eyes lit up as the Glaceon appeared from the red light, and he gasped, holding his hands against his ches in excitement. "Oh my god ... He's so beautiful!" He told the woman, biting his lip as he watched the blue pokemon. The other pokemon sounded nice to though, that was the problem. Well, Kame figured that getting a Jigglypuff and a Clefairy were going to be easier than finding another Glaceon. "Can I have the Glaceon please?" He asked timidly. "But do you happen to know where there are any Jigglypuff? I think I'd like one of those."

"Wonderful." Anadel tossed Kame the pokeball, "Well, hunny, you can just have this one if you'd like. Or were you looking to go out and catch one of your own?" She understood that some trainers preferred to catch all of their own pokemon. Fang was that type typically, but the three that she'd given him were pokemon he'd helped raise from eggs before he left.
The male reached forward, snagging two TMs from his mother's lap to check and see what they were. Ice Beam and Flamethrower. Perfect for his Totodile and Growlithe. He quickly tucked them away in his pocket, intent on using them the moment that he and Kame were back on the road.
