Kame really felt like kissing Anadel the moment she said that he could have the Jigglypuff to. "Oh my god ... But are you sure?" He didn't mind taking pokemon off of people's hands, as long as they didn't mind. Although he would like to capture some of his own as well - ofcourse he needed a decent team to do so first. Kame wasn't like Fang in his nature to do everything himself - Kame was trying to show the world that he could handle life outside of his own, but one more free pokemon could'nt hurt, right?
He smiled widely, attaching Glaceon's pokeball to his belt, and watching as Pichu sat on Anadel's lap and looked up at her curiously. "I'd love to take it! And I'll be sure to come visit you again with a gift to say thank you! Maybe my cousin has a pokemon you haven't got here yet ... She's a breeder to! She might be using Uncle Cid's pokemon ... Ugh." He suddenly frowned, "Scratch that, Uncle Cid's pokemon are horrible ...." He glanced at Fang and smiled, "But you'd probably like them."
But he doubted he'd like Cid. Nobody did, and with good reason.

Anadal smiled, as per usual very delighted to see Kame's enthusiasm. It always entertained her, and made her happy, even when she was in a foul mood, "Of course!" She replied, more than happy to help the boy out. She'd had a feeling that he'd want the Jigglypuff, but Glaceon was a difficult pokemon to pass up, for anyone really. So she didn't mind at all allowing him to take more than one.
She picked up the pokeball, and tossed it over to Kame, being careful not to enlarge it so that it wouldn't let the pokemon inside out. She chuckled quietly at the boy's response, "I'd love to meet her." She replied, and that was the truth. The woman focused her attention downward, noting the little Pichu on her lap, which she raised a hand to pet.
Fang raised an eyebrow at Kame's comment about liking Cid's pokemon, "Why would I like them?" He asked, "What does he have?"

Kame caught the pokeball and attached it to his belt as well, biting his lip happily. He was in such a good mood now and ready to start their journey. "Have I ever told you how much I love you Anadel?" He teased. He did love her though really, but in a friendly way, not in a weird way like how he and the woman always play flirted with eachother. Everything they did was harmless, but Kame really did like her a lot. She was a wonderful woman and Fang was lucky to have her as his mother. He just wished the boy would show that to her a little more. "And Ashie is great! She's really good with pokemon to - they seem to like her a lot. She has a Growlithe, like Fang."
Pichu reached up with his tiny hands and gripped Anadel's hand, pulling it down gently on top of his head, as if he thought he was now wearing a hat. He was a curious little pokemon, that was for sure.
Kame turned back to Fang as he questioned him, and tilted his head in thought, "Well he has a Blaziken, a Arcanine, Ninetails, Sharpedo, Houndoom and Mightyena. They're not very friendly though ... And I suspect they were used in the 'incident'." Burning down Ash's home, that was, although he'd never mentioned it before. It was kind of sad, and Kame didn't really like talking about it.

Andadel chuckled quietly, "Hundreds of times hunny, but I never get tired of hearing it." She winked, leaning back in the chair that she occupied. She raised an eyebrow as the boy explained about his cousin, nodding in acknowledgement of his words, "Oh how great! I'm sure they'd get along wonderfully." Clearly she meant the Growlithe's, not Fang and Ash. Fang just wasn't very good with people, and she knew that.
The woman's attention went to Pichu as it grabbed her hand, her head tilting to the side in a curious expression as the pokemon pulled it down upon his head like a hat. A giggle escaped the female's lips, as she clearly enjoyed watching the funny little pokemon.
Fang clearly appeared interested by the list of pokemon that Kame provided, "Sounds like a strong team." He responded, raising an eyebrow, "And what incident?"

Kame winked back, knowing that he said that a lot. He didn't have a lot of friends, but he certainly saw Anadel as one of them. She was kind and loving, the mother of his crush, beautiful and she loved pokemon, which just made everything all the more better. Really though he wouldn't mind living with her or something - he just wished his mother was as cheery as she could be. Kame's mother was a depressed most of the time, as she couldn't seem to get through to her eldest son, Kariyu. He was even more depressed as she was. "I'm sure they would! Growlithe is a little playful thing." And rather friendly to.
He tilted his head at Fang and then his happy demeanor turned somewhat sad, "A little while ago Uncle Cid ordered an attack on Ashie's house, because her father was a rebel. They killed everyone inside - burned the house down - and Ash just about survived it. I heard from her a couple of days ago - she's staying with some guy called Akhor. I don't know him or anything but I swear I've heard of him before ... Anyway, I think it would be great if we could pay her a visit some time." He replied.

Anadel smiled in response to Kame's comment on the two Growlithes being together. However, it vanished the moment the boy began to speak in answer to Fang's question, her eyes widening and her lips parting as she stared at him, horrified, "That's terrible!" She exclaimed, truly disgusted by the idea. How could someone do something so heartless? She didn't know who this Cid person was, but she'd love to get ahold of him!
Fang's eyes narrowed as Kame spoke, and he adverted them in thought as the male mentioned what had happened. Sweet pokemon, sick trainer. His gaze lifted as Kame finished speaking, and he nodded in response, "Well, why don't we?" He asked. He was curious about all of this, and not yet prepared to face the first gym. As such, it seemed like a good way to get some experience and to have something to do in the mean time.

Kame sighed. Yeah it was horrible and he hated being related to evil Uncle Cid. Cid and Kame's father were actually a lot alike, but where as his father was in prison, Cid was allowed to roam free because he was some kind of Lord or something. He didn't really understand. Either way the point remained that Cid had done a horrible thing to his own brother and his family - he didn't even pay any attention to his own son! That guy was disgraceful really, and the only good thing about him was his pokemon, but other than that he had nothing going for him.
"You don't mind?" Kame asked as Fang spoke, a tiny smile creasing his lips. "I think having some company might make her feel better - and she'd love to see our pokemon. She'll probably make us loads of pokeblocks for them to. Anything to distract her really ..." He hoped that Ash wasn't too depressed. He liked seeing her smile. "As long as you're nice to her though ..."

Fang had never met Kame's father, and he didn't bring the subject up, ever. He didn't think that it would be very welcome as a topic to talk about, and as such he let it lie, although he was aware that the boy's father was in prison, and was not a very kind man. He shook his head in response to the boy's inquiry. No, he didn't mind. Something to do until he was prepared to battle the first gym leader would be appreciated, actually.
He raised an eyebrow at Kame's last comment, snorting quietly, "I had no intention of being mean." He responded, not seeing why the male assumed he would be. Then again, he didn't consider his social skills to lean toward being rude or anything, as while he always spoke his mind, he didn't see that as a bad thing. So most probably considered him to be mean, whilst the did not.
"Well then, let me pack you guys some food real quick! I premade some things for you earlier." The woman scooped the Pichu in her lap up, and set him down in Kame's as she stood, before making her way back into the kitchen.

'Not very kind' was a bit of an undertatement. Kame and his mother had put up with his father's behaviour until the night he'd attacked Kame with an alcohol bottle and half blinded him in both eyes. That was the last time that Kame saw him, as he never went to visit him in prison, and never planned to either. He was a forgiving boy generally, but this was one thing he would never forgive or forgot. The man had ruined his life pretty much, as Kame liked pretty things, but nothing ever looked as good now as it used to. He lived in a fuzzy, hazy world now.
"I know you don't plan to be mean, usually, but you can come across as a little harsh, Fang." Kame admitted, "Just remember she lost her entire family in one night and now she has to see Uncle Cid constantly and can't do anything to get revenge ... All she's got is her Growlithe and a few pokemon she's collected. I'm pretty sure her father might have some pokemon in his Pc ..." He pondered about that for a moment before Anadel placed the Pichu in his lap and then went off to pack some food. Kame smiled at her as she left.

Fang glowered darkly at his friend as the male claimed that he could come across as harsh. He didn't think so. He was honest, yeah, and if people couldn't deal with that then that was their problem, not his, "Whatever." He muttered distantly, "I won't say anything about any of that." He wasn't a very sympathetic person, but like he didn't bring up Kame's father, he wasn't going to touch the topic of what had happened to Ash either. Though he had to admit that he was curious to see her Uncle's pokemon.
Anadel returned a moment later with two stuffed full paper sack lunches, "Here you two are. There's a couple sandwiches in there, a bag of cookies, a bag of chips, some fruit, and a couple of energy bars each." She offered one to each boy.
Fang rose and took his from her.

Kame simple smiled in response. Fang did speak the truth yeah, but he almost knew there had to be a sensitive side in there as well, because of how he avoided talking about his father and such, and what he'd done to him. He knew that Fang was bot a mean person, he just didn't have very good social skills of any kind. It was still rather strange how he and Fang were friends, but Kamekai would never complain. "Thank you ... We should drop in on Kariyu as well. He doesn't live far from here and it's on the way to Ashie." He suggested, "Maybe I should take him some food ... He hasn't been eating much."
He looked up as Anadel returned and joined Fang in getting to his feet, bringing Glaceon back into his pokeball before he took his pack from the woman and leaned forward to hug her. "Thankyou my darling." He smiled, "You are too kind."

Fang raised an eyebrow at the other boy's suggestion, considering it for a moment, before shrugging, "Yeah, sure, why not." He'd met Kariyu once or twice before, and it amazed him how different the two boys were. Seriously, he didn't think any two people could be any more different. But that was a lot like Kame and his relationship, so he supposed it wasn't too entirely surprising.
"You're very welcome." She replied, returning the hug, before pulling back and drawing Fang into one immediately afterward. Stepping back once more, she said, "I love you both. Have a safe journey."
"Bye mom." Fang replied, slightly disgruntled by the hug as he started for the door.

Kame was so used to his and Kariyu's differences by now that they didn't bother him at all. Kariyu was dark and mysterious, obsessed with women and completely gloomy all the time, while Kame was always happy, obsessed with Fang and not mysterious imn the least. There were more differences than that, but those were the main ones and what everyone else seemed to take note of. Kame hadn't seen Kariyu in a little while, so it seemed like a good idea to go and see how he was, and bring him some nourishment as no doubt the male thought he didn't need to eat again. He was glad that Fang agreed to go with him.
He placed Pichu in his pocket, and then watched as Anadel hugged Fang, a smile creeping across his lips as he did. "Love you to! Don't miss us too much - we'll send you postcards!" The boy informed the woman before starting after Fang.

Anadel couldn't help a final chuckle at Kame's final comment, and waved as the two disappeared out the door, before returning to the cookiedough she'd left on the counter in order to set in out on a tray.
Fang glanced over his shoulder to insure that Kame was following, watching as Growlithe came trotting out of the house after him, looking rather groggy. The pokemon had clearly nearly fallen asleep. Turning his attention back to Kame he asked, "Where does Kariyu live again?"

Kame turned to look at Fang, pulling his backpack around and setting his lunch inside it so that he didn't have to carry it around with him aswell. "By the border - his house is surrounded by trees and tall grass." Sometimes Kame got attacked by wild pokemon when he tried to get inside, "It's just a little walk from here. Less than a half hour." He added in more detail. Kariyu's house was pretty much in the middle of nowhere though, between Stormcloud and the city beside it. He'd lived there with his wife before she was killed but now she was all on her own.
He looked down at Growlithe, smiling at the pokemon, "And Ashie isn't too far either, although I've never been there before. She didn't know much about the place she was describing, but she said its near some mountains and a forest. When we get close I'll ring her and tell her we're on our way."
