Ash on the other hand was as friendly as you could get, but even so she had no friends either. There had been one or two but nobody that she would really spend all of her time with, or spend chatting to for hours on end. Pokemon were her friends, and she found that she was much happier around them than with people. She still managed to get along with other human beings however, and didn't end up making anyone feel uncomfortable, like Akhor was doing to her. She didn't really think he was being this way on purpose, but still, she was beginning to feel a little awkward around him.
The female was sort of glad that he didn't respond to her compliment. She didn't much about the man, and so far he seemed a little abrasive, so she had no idea what he would have said if he'd taken more notice. The change of subject was therefore quite welcome, and the female found herself becoming curious about whom she was meant to be going to see. She would have asked, if it weren't for the fact that she'd just realised she'd been told to go and get dressed. Well getting to the bathroom was going to be awkward. Couldn't have Akhor just left?
Rather than point this out, the female carefully rose, averting her gaze as she knew that if she looked at him she was just going to become even more embaressed, and left the quilt behind as she carefully, but as quickly as she could, made her way into the bath room with the pile of clothes that Akhor had given her. Once inside she carefully changed, and had a quick wash above the sink, and cleaned her tooth with a tube of toothpast she found available. Once she was done, she came to stand in the doorway. "Who is it?" She finally asked, meaning ofcourse who they were going to see.

Akhor seemed to realize his mistake when Ash began to shift under the covers, and as such immediately turned about so that his back was facing her, and she had her privacy. Once he heard her footsteps halt, he made his way over toward the door, coming to stand beside it in wait as she got dressed. Jolteon of course moved to sit beside him.
At last, she returned, along with an inquiry about who they were going to visit, "You'll see." He responded, no ominous tone behind it or anything of the sort. Just a simple statement. He pulled the door open and stepped out, Jolteon following in close pursuit, "Come on. He's on a schedule and this is probably the only window of opportunity we'll get to see him."
The male was quite curious as to how Ash was going to react to seeing her Uncle. He wondered how their relationship had been beforehand, and was currently betting on whether she'd stand frozen, freak out and attack, or burst into tears or something. He was betting on the first or the third, but that was because he hadn't exactly seen a very aggressive edge to the female.

Ash wished that Akhor would give her a little bit more infortmation, but it wasn't like she could pry it out of him. She was not a controlling person, or very confrontational, and so she merely nodded at his words and made her way over. Just as she got to the doorway she gestured over to Growlithe for him to follow them, and the pokemon happily leapt off the bed and darted across the bedroom towards her, licking her hand as he approached. There was no way that he would have let her go any where with just Akhor and that Jolteon any way, but it was nice to be wanted.
"Okay. Is he important?" She presumed so by the male's answer, but she still wanted to know a little bit more about the man they were seeing. She wouldn't be demanding any answers, but it would be nice to know something. She wondered if he was the person in charge here, wherever 'here' was. She still didn't really know anything about this place, or Akhor for that matter, which made it hard for Ashah because she was a naturally curious person, and always needed to get the information she desired.
===================================
Cid was sat in his office, at a desk looking at a few pieces of paper. A Mightyena was sat beside him in what appeared to a be a huge sort of dog bed, black in colour. Beside it lay a chewed up doll, which the pokemon had literally ripped to shreds. He liked doing that to other pokemon as well, but had been restricted to Cid's office for the day, in case he was needed for anything, like keeping guard at the door.

Akhor lead the way down the hall and toward Cid's office. He glanced over his shoulder at Ash as she spoke, a slight smirk playing at his lips for a moment, "I suppose." He responded. He didn't think CId was important. Just a nuisance. But considering his status and use to the Emperor, yeah, he supposed most people considered him important. As far as Akhor was concerned though, he was easily replaceable.
As they approached the office, Jolteon pulled a little closer to Akhor's leg. It wasn't uncommon that Cid kept a pokemon out as well, and they never tended to get along with Jolteon. Then again, most everything in the world didn't.
The male didn't even bother to knock. Rather, he simply grabbed the handle and pushed the door open, entering without so much as a greeting or a warning that he was arriving, "I have someone here to see you, Cid." He said, immediately stepping to the side and out of the way so that Ash was easily visible.

Well that wasn't much of an answer. Atleast not what Ashah wanted to hear. She would have liked to have a name or a title or something, just anything that would give her a clue as to who she was supposed to be seeing. She actually would have liked to stay in bed and rest some more, but at least this was a distraction from her ever thinking mind. She'd do any thing to be distracted from what had happened. Losing her family was such a big shock to her, and she was still tired and in pain from the ordeal. She supposed that she would just have to move on.
She had no idea what Akhor was up to when he pushed the door open, but at the sound of Cid's name, Ashah froze. For a moment she wondered if it could be someone else ... But then the male parted the way and she could see her uncle clear as day. Her breathe caught in her throat and her heart stopped as she found herself standing there, simply staring. She was scared, frightened, angry, upset and it was all bundled into one big confused mess in her head, and as such she didn't know what to do with herself. Growlithe on the other hand began to snarl.
Cid rose as the door opened, and he was about to start yelling at Akhor to get out before his eyes caught sight of Ash, and he became quite still himself. His eyes narrowed, and he took a few steps forward around his desk, with Mightyena following closely behind, growling at the other two pokemon in a rather fierce and frightening manner. Cid's glare was almost as fierce as he approached the intruders at his door. "You're alive." He pointed out, staring at the injured female. "You should be dead. And you," He added, turning to Akhor, "You should have left her where she was. I don't believe anyone told you to go and help." He was pissed off and it was clear in his tone and on his face.
For a few moments more, Ashah simple stared Cid, and then without warning she had lunged herself at him. At the same moment Mightyena went to attack her, but Growlithe threw himself in the way, only to get himself bitten in the side.
Cid managed to grab Ashah's flailing hands, and rather painfully at that. "Wonderful." He muttered angrily, "Akhor, take her away, now, before I have Mightyena finish her off. I didn't spend all that time planning to kill them all to have you bring one back to, perfectly alive."

Akhor was not intentionally being cruel to Ash. He wasn't doing this because he wanted her to be reminded of what had happened, and to go through the tough emotional drama of facing the man who had murdered her family, and tried to kill her as well. He was doing this simply to torment Cid, to show him his failure, and to protect that failure so that it would not become a success. Unfortunately for Ash, he didn't consider what the effects might be on her.
Jolteon stepped up slightly in front of Akhor, watching the two approaching figures with suspicion. Clearly he was not intimidated by the Mightyena's growling. In fact, he'd love to accept the challenge he took that as, and attack the thing. However, he'd do no such thing with Akhor's say so.
Akhor smirked in response to Cid's reaction. Clearly he was enjoying it, "Someone has to go cleaning up your messes, since obviously you can't do it yourself." He was simply reiterating the fact that he had failed in his attempt to murder the entire family, "I was just looking for pokemon. It's your fault you failed."
He watched as Ash suddenly lunged herself, upon which Mightyena reacted, and Growlithe interfered. Akhor's expression did not change, as he did not appear worried for the small pokemon at all. Instead, he turned his attention back to Cid, the smile of amusement returning to his lips, "Perhaps you'd better work on your planning skills." He suggested with a shrug, crossing his arms about his chest as he did so.

Ash's mind wasn't entirely on Akhor at the moment, though it did register with her that he'd brought her to Cid, knowing exactly what their relationship was to each other. Once she had her mind off her uncle it was likely that she would confront the male on the matter, but right now she was focused on hurting Cid. Her attempts were failing her however, as the man had grabbed her wrists, and was now holding them with a painful kind of strength. She was already in pain from the incident, so this wasn't helping her at all, neither was seeing Cid.
Cid let her go, but only because he was too frustrated to be dealing with her. He had really wanted them all dead so that this would not come back to haunt him, but it was happening anyway, and he knew Akhor was enjoying his anger, which just made him feel worse. He pushed Ash harshly away. "Get out of my office." He demanded, his anger clear. He didn't wish to discuss this, he just wanted Akhor gone before he made him even more angry than he already was, and it was easy getting him angry.
Ash didn't try attacking Cid again, and instead snatched Growlithe out of the way of Mightyena, and made off as quickly as she could past Akhor, but not without sparing him a glare. She wanted to get out of there. She didn't care that it hurt to walk that fast, she had to go.

Akhor lifted his hands in mock innocence at Cid's harsh command to get out of his office. The amused smile on his face showed that his one and only objective to coming to see the man was to show him that Ash was still alive, and to use that fact to mock him, "Alright, calm down. We'll leave." The male almost laughed. Almost.
"I just thought you'd like to see your dear niece is still alive." And with that, he turned about, immediately following Ash out of the room. Jolteon turned with him, but kept his head slightly turned, looking over his shoulder incase Cid or the Mightyena tried anything. But once they cleared the threshold, and Akhor closed the door, he relaxed.
Akhor's expression turned slightly smug, although his enjoyment was still clear as a small smile played at his lips, "Well, that went well, don't you think?" He was talking to Jolteon, rather than Ash, of whom he hadn't even checked to see if was still around.

Cid watched with narrowed angry eyes as Akhor spoke, but he did not reply to him, and rather stared him down as he crossed the room and the door closed. He turned to Mightyena, whom was still growling and looked ready to rip something apart. He'd had a taste of blood now, and the vicious pokemon wanted nothing more than to quench his now sudden thirst. He would just have to wait until his master allowed him to go hunting or something though. Keeping that in mind the creature turned and curled up in his bed, looking just about as unhappy as Cid, as he to returned to his desk, and crushed a paperweight in his hand.
Ash had no where to return to, and so she just walked on. Moving like she was hurt a lot, but she wanted to get out of there as soon as possible. Not to mention little Growlithe was now hurt and needed some attention. He had blood staining his coat. But the way Ash was moving, she pulled at her own wounds, and the one at her hip and thigh began bleeding again. She ignored it however as she searched for a way out. Only problem was that she didn't know where she was, and so ended up lost.
She came to sit on a staircase, leaning against the wall, and holding her pokemon close to her chest, rubbing his soft fur with her hand.

Akhor eventually came to a halt, noting that Ash had still not come into sight. Likely she'd taken a wrong turn and gotten herself lost, which was not difficult to do if one did not know their way around the place. He sighed quietly, finding annoyance in having to go search her out. He turned to Jolteon, tucking his hands in his pockets as he did so, "Can you find her?"
The pokemon almost seemed insulted by the question, causing a slight smirk to play at Akhor's lips. He quickly lowered his head to the ground, sniffing it for a moment, before beginning to walk once more. Akhor trailed after him, content on following the electric type wherever it saw fit to go. He was more than trusting when it came to Jolteon, and he was sure that the pokemon would be capable of finding Ash.
A few turns and minutes later, he was proven correct, as the female came into view, sitting upon a staircase with her Growlithe in her arms, "We should take him to the center." He commented. There was a pokemon center in the building.

Ash was quickly finding herself becoming somewhat frustrated, and her body was beginning to feel hot from the feeling. She wasn't sure if it was just because of her annoyance, or because of Akhor. It seemed pretty obvious to her that he'd been enjoying himself as she and Cid were re-united, but Ash was far from happy. That man had killed her family and ruined her life, and now his pokemon had injured Growlithe - and Akhor found that amusing? At least that was how Ashah saw it. She had thought that underneath that cold exterior he might actually be nice, but she was proven wrong.
She remained where she was, keeping Growlithe calm by stroking behind his ears and under his belly, though he was still quite clearly in pain. When Akhor came into sight she found herself glaring at him slightly. "I can take him to one on my own." She retorted, sounding none too happy, "Just please show me the way out of here so we can leave." She wanted to go far away, to where she didn't know, but she didn't want to stick around a place like this, now that she knew she was.

Akhor was clearly unbothered by Ash's clear look of frustration and anger that she directed at him. He simply shook his head in response to her demand, "The next pokemon center is too far away for him to make it." He responded. That was true, actually, "You're best off following me to the one here." He turned about, prepared to leave in the direction that he'd come.
He glanced over his shoulder, "Unless of course you want him to die. In that case, I'll show you the way out." Really though, he didn't want her to leave. He didn't doubt that the moment she was unguarded and on her own that Cid would make an attempt to finish what he'd started. But Akhor had rather enjoyed that reunion, and he believed there was more of such experiences to come if Ash stuck around. She'd be safe that way too, and he was not afraid to use this to his advantage.
"Besides, the moment you step out of here on your own, Cid's going to come after you." Sure he was being a little bit manipulative, but that was also the truth, "You and your pokemon are safer here."

Ash didn't know where she was, and she wasn't in the habit of trusting people that she felt had manipulated or used her, but in this case she didn't know what else to do. Growlithe was hurt and in pain, and Ashah didn't want him to suffer so she needed t o get him help. If the pokecenter really was too far away then she didn't know what else to do. It wouldn't be fair if she let the pokemon suffer just because she was upset with Akhor for taking her to her uncle, despite the fact he should have known how it would make her feel.
She would have to just bite the bullet.
The female rose to her feet, biting her lip. She was clearly upset and frustrated, but Growlithe would always come first. "Please help him." That was her way of asking him to take them to this poke center of his. He manipulation was working in a sense to, because she was scared of Cid. She wouldn't be able to fight him off on her own at all. Especially with her own wounds bleeding to. She could sort them out herself later, when she knew Growlithe was okay, but for now she didn't mind letting her hip bleed. It was covered by her clothes anyway.

Akhor remained stationary for a moment longer, and was prepared to step forward in a mock attempt to leave, when the female finally rose, and requested help for Growlithe, "Very well. Follow me." He turned and made his way down the hall. Jolteon rose from his seat, casting a quick glance over his shoulder back at Ash and her pokemon, before turning and following after Akhor.
The male didn't see why Ash was being so standoffish with him. Sure he understood she was mad at her uncle, but why was she treating him like she was angry with him as well? Unless of course she blamed him for seeing her uncle. Well yeah, that was his fault, but it wasn't like he'd done it to remind her of what had happened to her parents or anything. He wasn't some heartless and cruel person like Cid, he was just a tad lacking in the emotions department.

The female followed after Akhor, none too happy with having to give in like that. Maybe he didn't understand what he'd done wrong, but seeing Cid had really hurt her, and she'd been hoping to never see him again. Not to mention this mean that Akhor was of those people like Cid ... She didn't know much about the houses and whatever, but Cid had spoken once about who he wroked for, and her father had been against it all, which was why he was dead. In the female's eyes this wasn't at all good. And she didn't even know who exactly Akhor was ...
The female remained silent as she walked after the odler male, carrying her little Growlithe carefully in her arms who would whimper every now and then. She continued trying to soothe him, but every time he made a sound like that she felt incredibly bad, and she felt rather guilty about it. "Can I give Arcanine that bath later?" She asked all of a sudden. She was quite looking forward to it, and she thought that it might cheer up Growlithe as well, if he was healed. He loved his baths to and he had seemed to like the Arcanine.
