Although Jolteon might not have appreciated the threatening barks and suspicious stares directed at Akhor, he wasn't about to attack Growlithe for them. No, he was simply on guard incase the little pokemon decided that he'd had enough of the way that Akhor was treating Ash, and decided to do a little attacking of his own.
Finally, she moved, and Akhor watched her turn about. He raised an eyebrow, and turned in the opposite direction himself. As he did so, he reached to his belt and grabbed a pokeball, and in a flash of red light, had returned Arcanine to it. Ash would be giving him a bath the moment that she was up to it physically.
Once she finished wrapping her wound however, he'd be getting her something to wear, and then the two of them had someone that they needed to visit.

Growlithe wasn't usually the violent type at all, but he was very protective of Ashah, and had been since he'd first been brought back to her, when she was just a little bit younger. The two of them had spent the last few years together, and had not left each other's side. The pokemon was just looking out for her, as Jolteon was doing for his master. Really the two pokemon were quite similar, in some ways. They were both loyal, for one. Growlithe would never leave Ashie's side, and he would give his life for her, despite being so young and not fit for battle.
He sat down, his tail stretched uot behind him, and his strong jaw parted just slightly as he watched Jolteon, but his ears were perked, listening to Akhor to make sure that he didn't say anything else offensive to upset poor Ashah.
Ash took a few more minutes trying to figure out what she was doing before she tied off the vandage. She turned back around, and blinked a few times as if trying to clear her eyesight, but while it helped the slightest for her left she found that her right was just the same. She could see nothing at all out of it, and it hurt a lot. She didn't know what was wrong with it, but she hoped that it was nothing serious. The last thing she needed, along with Akhor being an ass, was to be left with injuries that would never heal. She wanted to get beter.
"So ... Where are we?" The female asked curiously. She really did wonder just where they were.

Akhor waited, rather patiently surprisingly, for Ash to wrap her wound. When she finished and turned about, he did the same, and his eyes narrowed for a moment as he caught sight of something. In favor of ignoring her question until a later date, he responded with his own question, as seemed to a typical thing, "Can you see, he asked?" He hadn't missed her few blinks, as if she were clearing her vision, which had drawn his attention to her eyes.
One of them appeared so lifeless, and he was beginning to wonder if it was. It was very possible that she'd been partially or even completely blinded. If she was having vision problems, he wanted to wait until the next day, when she could see better, to bring her to see her Uncle. It would be incredibly anticlimactic if she didn't even recognize him with her blurred vision. Plus, it would give him the chance to get her some clothes for the next day.

Ash was currently blaming her lack of sight on the headache that she had, and the shock that she had recieved when hearing that her family were dead. She didn't know why her eyes hurt as they did, with one feeling much worse than the other, but that was the last of her worries at the moment. Really all she cared about was forgetting about what had happened, at least for a little while before she had to worry about it again, and getting some more rest. She felt weak, which wasn't really all that surprisng, really, after what she'd been through.
"I can see well enough." She answered quite slyly. Her answer could mean a few things, but in this case she meant just that - she could see well enough. Her vision was blurred but she could make things out. Distance, and colour were another thing, and she was sure she was a little muddled up with those, but she could see shapes and line, and she could Akhor, if not with all the details, but she thought that she would be be fine. "You keep avoiding my questions." She pointed out, still wanting hers answered.

Akhor frowned slightly at Ash's response. That was not a yes or a no. However, it helped the male more than she might have realized. If she could see fine she would have just said yes. So her answer meant she could see, but not one hundred percent. Or at least, this was the reasoning the male came to. He snorted quietly at her statement about him avoiding her questions, and replied, "I didn't answer because it doesn't matter." He responded, "It's like a hotel of sorts." And in a way, it was. It had many rooms.
The male turned, and started toward the door slowly, his eyes still on Ash, "You should get some rest." He said, "I'll bring you some fresh clothes tomorrow, and hopefully by then you should feel a bit better, and we'll see about you giving Arcanine a bath." He didn't really expect her to be up to that tomorrow, he was simply making the point that he had not, and would not, forget.

Ashah had wanted to be sure of her eyesight, but she was not, and she couldn't help that. Right now she was scared that her vision was impaired in both eyes, but she tried to not think about it, because doing so would just remind her of what had caused her to have such bad eyesight and by extension what had happened to her family. They were much worse off than she was, but then again they weren't left behind having to suffer with havingg lost so many loved ones. She missed them already ,but she didn't know how to express it, and for that she felt terrible.
The female merely nodded at Akhor's explanation, though she was still curious. For all she knew he could be some weirdo stalker or something. Either way she was glad to get some rest as he suggested. Her eyes followed him as he began to move, and she turned and clambered over to the bed, which she immediately came to lie on. Growlithe jumped up and lay beside her, curling up against her side. Ashah was actually looking forward to giving Arcanine a bath, but like Akhor, she didn't expect to be up to it any time soon, though she had no idea what the pokemon could behave like.

Jolteon immediately turned, and followed Akhor out. His gaze had never left Growlithe the entire time. Not until Akhor had started to leave, and his attention had gone to him instead. The two made their way out of the room, and Akhor closed the door behind them, none too softly. His agitation hadn't entirely dispersed at this point, but it made him feel a lot better to imagine the following day when he got to rub this all in Cid's face.
Akhor and Jolteon retreated back to the male's room, which was across the hall, and down two doors. He closed the door behind him as they entered, and went about getting ready for bed. By the time he had, he was dressed solely in a pair of black sweats, and had climbed into a King sized bed. Jolteon jumped up too, although he went immediately to the other side, and curled up there. He had a tendency to spread out completely in his sleep, and took up a great deal of space. As such, Akhor had banished him to the other side of the bed, not that he minded.
The male closed his eyes, letting out a deep breath that felt like it physically relieved stress. A few minutes later, he was deep asleep.

Ash felt a little bit icky wearing that shirt that was covered in blood and dirt, so she removed it before lying down to sleep. Growlithe ended up lying somewhat across her, in a comforting position that allowed her to pet him, in a soothing motion that would get them both to sleep. And it worked to, as it took but a few moments for the female to pass out once more. However, her sleep was none too kind to her, and she had to endure countless recollections of the incident, in which she had to watch her family dying over and over again.
By the time morning came, Growlithe had gotten up and licked the female's face, though he left her to sleep, and he went, jumped up at the door, pushing down on the handle in order to open it, and went outside to stand guard. He'd managed to pull the door closed behind him, and was now fully concentrated on making sure that nobody came in that room while Ashah wasn't fully dressed, or disturbing her sleep for that matter.

Akhor was a fairly earlier riser. Luckily for Ash, he had other business to attend to before he could deal with her. One of those things was personal, and was finding out what time Cid was free for a 'visit' so to say. He'd found an appropriate time, and then after that, some clothes for Ash to wear. A simple pair of jeans, and a black top. As per usual, Jolteon was at his side throughout everything that he did, and was still there as they made their way down the hall toward Ash's bedroom.
They arrived to find Growlithe standing guard, and interesting sight in Akhor's opinion. It seemed the pokemon had simply risen earlier, and decided to go play hero outside the door. All the male saw it as was a nuisance however. He could see it already, the thing would not get out of their way he was willing to bet. A quiet sigh escaped his lips, and he glanced down at Jolteon, who met his gaze.
Simultaneously, Akhor stepped forward, reaching a hand out for the handle to open the door. As he did so, Jolteon moved up as well, a growl resounding in his throat as a warning, his ears back and his attention focused solely on Growlithe. If it made a move to stop Akhor, he'd make more than a move to stop it.

Growlithe watched the two approach in silence, though it was quite clear that he was ready to start playing guard as soon as they tried getting through the door. He was a smart creature and he knew that Ashah would not like to be seen in the state that she was, for not only was she half dressed, butshe'd been crying in her sleep. The female liked her privacy, and Growlithe wanted to give it to her, so ofcourse he was going to do what he could to make sure that nobody got inside while she was sleeping. The elast he could do, was do that for her.
However, even though he'd wanted to play hero so badly, and had started to, with growling deeply as Akhor reached for the handle, Jolteon frightened him into submission. He immediately whimpered and backed right up against the door, yearning to run inside so that he could hide behind his mistress. There was just something about that Jolteon that he didn't like, other than the fact that it was much stronger than he was, and somewhat bigger in size.

Akhor didn't even bother to glance down at Growlithe as it began to growl at him. He was entirely confident that Jolteon would take care of it. Even if the pokemon didn't manage to silence Growlithe, he'd still interfere if the other pokemon tried anything. He was right, it seemed, and was able to open the door and enter unbothered. Jolteon ceased his growling once he had, and promptly followed him in. His growl had been a warning, but he wouldn't have hesitated to hurt Growlithe, if it had tried to hurt Akhor.
Akhor left the door open, knowing Growlithe would follow them in, and paused a few feet away, making sure Ash was still covered by the blanket. He'd noticed the shirt on the ground, and didn't want to invade her privacy, at least not more than he already had. Seeing that she was covered, he stepped forward and made his way over to the bed, "Ash." He called, shifting the clothes in his hands so that his right was free, at which point he reached out to shake her.

Growlithe happened to be just a little afraid of Akhor and Jolteon. He was usually such a tough little guy, or he tried to be, but he was still so young and small and weak, so it wasn't usually easy keeping up the charade of being the big hero. At least he still tried his best however, to keep Ashah safe. And if the time really called for it, then he would protect her with his life. As it were, he was certain that the two entering the room now were not there to hurt her. Still, the pokemon had wanted her to have her privacy. He knew she'd be embaressed about being woken up. She was lucky she was covered.
The female stirred as her name was called, and then even more so as Growlithe ran into the room after Jolteon and leapt up onto the bed. She was finally awoken when Akhor shook her, and she scrunched up her eyes before slwoly opening them and stretching out her limbs. For a moment she wondered where she was, as if this had all been a dream, and then a moment later she remembered exactly what had happened, and that Akhor had found her and brought her here. Wherever 'here' was.
The female turned over so that she was on her back, rather than on her side, and looked up at the red haired male. She could see him a lot more clearly today, though her right eye still showed her nothing. He was very handsome, was the first thing she noticed. "Hi." She said simply, making sure that she was entirely covered with the quilt.

Growlithe had a right to be afraid. Akhor and Jolteon weren't exactly the nicest pair around. They weren't as bad as Cid, but they weren't that great either. What made it worse was that neither of them cared about that fact. They knew that people found them frustrating because of it, and mean and rude, but they could absolutely not care less. Other people's opinions never bothered them in any way, and that was no different with Ash and Growlithe.
Akhor glanced over at the pokemon as it leapt up on the bed, before turning his attention back to Ash as she woke, and stretched. As she greeted him, he tossed the clothes onto the bed before her, "I got you something to wear." He stated, although that was rather clear, "How's your vision?" Obviously he hadn't believed her the previous night when she'd suggested that she could see just fine. Hopefully it was better today.

Ashah had hoped that Akhor would atleast greet her back, but he did no such thing and instead tossed the clothes at her. She looked at them briefly before looking at him as he spoke again. How was her vision? Well it was okay, but not great. Ash would much prefer to be able to see with both eyes, rather than just see half of her usual sight, and even now it was still blurry in her good eye. At least she believed that that one was getting better the more as time passed. Either way, she didn't like what was happening to her. It was a horrible reminder.
"It's better." She answered truthfully, tilting her head to the side as she was seemingly in thought about something. "Why is it the better looking ones are harder to approach?" She was basically giving Akhor a compliment, but pointing out the fact that he was just a little intimidating. She would have expected the person that saved her life would be a little nicer, and not so forward and brash. She was grateful to him, but he wasn;t making her feel any better at all.

Akhor wasn't very aware of manners, so to say. His people skills were... Lacking, to put it nicely. He hadn't had friends as a child, and had barely had what you could call a relationship with his parents. So he'd grown up not being taught to say please and thank you, and to greet someone when they said hello to you, or to knock before entering a room or anything that went in that category. It was just how he was, and no one had ever confronted him on the matter.
He nodded slightly as she claimed her vision had improved, then stared in slight surprise at her at her question. He wasn't used to compliments. People didn't like him, and it was very rare that you complimented someone you didn't like. He had no idea what to say, so instead he acted as if he hadn't heard her. Though for a brief moment he appeared slightly awkward and uncomfortable, suggesting he was totally blowing her off, he just didn't know how to respond.
"You should get dressed. There's someone you should see." He gestured to the bathroom off to the right as he spoke. She could change in there.
