It had been a long, cold night in the Wolfe house clearing. They lived quite deeply in the forest, surrounded by wild pokemon and huge trees reaching as high as the sky. They lived happily, the four of them; mother and father and the twins. They were skilled in looking after, and training pokemon and they had been a friendly bunch ... Key word there being 'had'. Their little cabin home was in ruins now, knocked down and burnt to the ground by Cid, the uncle, as a means of punishment for 'getting in the way'. The front of the cabin was completely collapsed, and the back end was charred and caved in - it seemed that anyone inside would have died, and they had.
All except for one.
Lying, half covered in rubble and half protected by the limp body of her rather tall and bulky father, a pink haired female ly unconcious. Her clothes were torn, and one of her legs stuck under a large pillar of wood. Her face was covered in blood from a stray object which had sliced down her face and through her right eye and one of her arms was severely bruised. She and her father had just about gotten to the front door when the rest of the house had collapsed on top of them, but she was saved from the worst of it by her father, who payed the price.
The girl had been laying there all night, out cold, while her ever faithful Growlithe bayed and howled and barked in hopes that someone would hear him and come help. In the very least it was likely that some point someone would see or smell the last remnants of the smoke as it slowly passed on by with the wind. Growlithe remained where he was, and would still be there even if it began to rain, or wild pokemon came to feast. He was smart enough to know that his mistress Ashie was still alive - she just needed help to get out of there. If she didn't get the help she needed ... Then who knew.
He waited, howling his loudest.

"That man is truly getting on my nerves." It was not uncommon for Akhor to discuss things with Jolteon, his most faithful partner, at any time of the day. He never kept the pokemon in a pokeball, but instead allowed it to roam free, and as such it was constantly at his side, as it was at that moment. The young man was dressed in a pair of dark gray jeans, the bottoms of which were tucked deep into his tight fitting black army boots. He wore a white tank top, and over it, a black, short sleeved jacket, which revealed part of the black dragon tattoo on his left arm. A necklace, which he never removed, thumped against his chest as he walked.
"He truly believes he can do whatever he wants, and I'm getting tired of it." His hands were resting shallowly in his pockets as he walked down the path toward the collapsed home. He could see it in the distance, "I mean, what the hell was he thinking? These people weren't a threat. This was completely unnecessary." Akhor found himself with the wonderful task of checking up on Cid's way of taking care of things. He was really just there to see if there were any surviving pokemon worth taking.
Jolteon suddenly stiffened beside him, his ears flexing as he raised his snout to the air, and sniffed. A quiet growl put Akhor on edge, but as they approached, it became clear what Jolteon had detected. The sounds of a pokemon howling became clear as they grew nearer, and the male glanced down at the pokemon at his side, "Be on your guard." As if he had to tell him that.
The two arrived, and Jolteon lead the way through what remained of the archway of the door. It didn't take long to realize what was making the sound: a Growlithe sat howling beside a large lump, which Akhor was capable of determining as bodies. He sighed quietly, his annoyance flaring once more at actually seeing the results of Cid's work, "That idiot." He muttered.

Cid was known for his outrageous tactics, and his uncaring soul. He didn't care who he hurt, even if those people were his own flesh and blood as they had been in his most recent assault. Blood and violence was something that he enjoyed and while he hadn't personally did this to his family, he had certainly made the order and been standing in the distance to watch. He didn't care what anyone thought of him, most certainly not someone like Akhor. He detested that boy. The fact that he'd done this to his own family, he didn't care one thing about it, and if anyone said anything to him about it, he wouldn't be happy either.
Ashah-Raine had always been his least hated family member, but he'd been willing to kill her as well, as such she was laying there unconscious. Anyone would have thought she was dead, as she wasn't moving, and most of her body was covered in rubble or her father's limp unmoving body, but Growlithe knew better. He wasn't strong enough, or big enough to help his mistress himself, though he had tried time and time again. The fact remained that she needed someone else to come and get her out and honestly Growlithe wasn't sure if there was anyone.
At the sound of a voice, a growl and the smell of a person and another pokemon approaching, Growlithe lifted up his head and watched as the two appeared in the archway. Immediately he was on edge, growling and baring his fangs as if to protect his owners. He moved backwards, and stood infront of unconscious Ashah. The pokemon could smell a distant scent of Cid, which meant that he was immediately on guard. He was just a young pokemon, but that meant nothing - he didn't know who these strangers were, so he was going to protect his mistress.
Another sound caught his attention - some form of movement. It as small, like a heaving chest and shallow breathing, but it was enough to make the Growlithe turn and gently pull at Ash's hand - the most visible thing of her - in an attempt to try and pull her free. It must have been his thousanth attempt.

Akhor studied the Growlithe in silence, finding it interesting that it still remained behind when it's masters were dead. Surely it realized that? He said and did nothing, and both he and Jolteon remained motionless where they stood, although the later was clearly on its guard. The boy's eyes narrowed as the red pokemon turned toward the two bodies, and tugged on of its hands. Whatever had caught its attention however, had also caught Jolteons. The pokemon emitted a quiet sound, and Akhor glanced down at it, an eyebrow raised.
He stepped forward, navigating through the rubble and wood, Jolteon at his side, although a step ahead of him. They slowed as they neared the two bodies, and Jolteon crept further forward, sniffing low to the ground as he did so. At last he paused, and turned back to Akhor, meeting his gaze, and the male moved forward. Jolteon instantly shifted to the side, approaching Growlithe, instantly beginning to speak to it in order to calm it. They weren't their to hurt either of them, and Akhor was just going to check on the person.
Akhor circled around to the opposite side, noting that there were two bodies. One of a man, who was clearly dead. The male placed two fingers on his neck regardless, checking for a pulse. His attention turned to the second of the two when he pronounced the first dead, and noted she seemed to be breathing. His fingers went to her neck next, his attention solely on her. He was clearly unconcerned with Growlithe. If it tried to attack, Jolteon would interfere.

Growlithe was pretty much just a puppy, and did not understand any of this. He didn't know what had happened, apart from the fact that his and his master's home had been destroyed, and there had been this scent ... He could smell it now to, somewhat, though he was intelligent enough to know that whoever Akhor was, he wasn't the man who had done this. That didn't stop him from being on edge though. As far as he was concerned, people had hurt his family, and anyone else could do the same as well. He just wanted to protect his mistress, ofcourse. She and him were so close ... He didn't want to lose her.
As the two came closer Growlithe tried even harder to pull the female free though all he suceeded in doing was making her hand go red with his teeth. He still tried however, not intent on giving up now. If she didn't get out soon she'd really be in trouble - and she was already bleeding. She'd technically been bleeding all night, she was just lucky that the wound was relatively small really, or she'd have been in a lot more trouble than she was now. Ofcourse Growlithe didn't have the brain power to know what would be wrong with her after she recovered. If she recovered, but the smell of blood was worrying.
He calmed somewhat as Jolteon began to speak to him, and reluctantly let go of Ashah's hand to step away and allow Akhor space, though he still wasn't happy about letting the man get any closer to his mistress. He calmed enough however to let him do as he pleased, and sat back a few feet away on his haunches to watch closely.
Ashah was still unconscious, but her mind was slowly starting to function somewhat again, so as she felt contact against her neck, a small sound like a grown or a whimper left her throat, quietly, and her hand moved as if searching for something, though she still remained 'out of it'. She'd been hit pretty hard on the head, and the smoke had rendered her unconscious for this long. Now that the smoke was mostly gone though, it made sense that she would begin to come round.

Akhor was surprised to find the girl still had a pulse. A moment later she was breathing much more noticeably as well. He glanced up at Jolteon, who shifted slightly, putting himself even more in between Growlithe and the humans. While Akhor admired the pokemon's loyalty to his master, he didn't want him getting in the way when he went about getting her out from the position she was currently stuck in. He turned his attention back to her, then rose to his feet, and stepped back, reaching down to his hip and grabbing a pokeball.
He released the pokemon inside, and what appeared was a towering blue gator: Feraligatr, "Get her free." He instructed, stepping back to allow the pokemon space to work. It nodded in response, and stepped closer, reaching down and lifting the girl's, father's body off from atop her. He set it aside respectfully, before reaching down and scooping Ash up in his arms, careful not to do so with jolting movements, "Take her outside, we'll follow." The male added, turning about to face the door.
Feraligatr did the same, and carefully navigated his way through the wreckage. He had to duck to make it through what remained of the doorway, but was able to clear it nonetheless, though barely due to his width. He walked a few paces away, distancing them from the remnants of the smoke and the house, and laid Ash down out in the grass. Akhor emerged a moment later to follow, and Jolteon turned from Growlithe and exited as well.

The female winced ever just slightly when she was scooped up, though apart from that she made no other movement and her slender body was limp, and dangled as she was carried. The smoke from her burning house had already filled up her lungs, and made her breathing shallow and painful, though it was quite a good thing that she was unconscious for it, as she barely noticed at all. While she'd been laying there her mind had been a blank - it was as if she didn't know what was happening, and wasn't aware of any thing around her.
The pokemon layed her in the grass, and she remained quite still. The blood on her face was dry, though there was a lot of it, and even if she did open her eyes she was going to have a tough time seeing with it all dried up in them. Her leg was also bleeding, and somewhat swollen and bruised from being trapped under the rubble, like her arm was, though it wasn't as bad. The girl's clothes didn't come out unharmed either - in fact she was wearing a shirt far too big for her and reached down to mid-thigh, and nothing else, but it was covered in what looked like soot and dirt. Overall the female did not look the healthiest that she could have possibly looked.
Growlithe watched with concern as Ashah was taken out of the rubble, and for a moment he resigned to growling, before he stopped himself and tried to calm down. He'd realised by now that these strangers couldn't be here to hurt her, or they'd have done it by now. Well he hoped they weren't here to harm or, but if they tried anything then the loyal pokemon would certainly step up and get in the way of it. He loved his mistress and would not let any more harm come to her.
He followed the trio out of the collapsed house, and sprinted over to Ash as she was layed down, immediately coming to beside her, and resting a paw over one of her hands, and then licking her arm, as if to try and wake her up.
A moment later the pink haired female began to cough quite violently, and by the time she was done was muttering incoherantly the words 'Uncle Cid' and 'daddy'. She was waking, but not quite there yet. She didn't know where she was, or what was happening. She was in pain though.

Akhor came to stand beside the girl, surveying her and her wounds. A quiet sigh escaped his lips, as he really hadn't been looking for this kind of job when he'd come to survey the house. Really he'd just wanted to know if there were any viable pokemon for him to take back, but he was not going to take this girl's Growlithe from her. Turning his attention to Feraligatr, he uttered a quick, "Thanks."
He came to kneel beside the girl, on the opposite side from the Growlithe, and leaned a bit closer as he heard her speak. He could only make out a couple of words, and one of them he did not like at all. The male's eyes narrowed at what sounded like Cid's name, but more important was the word that came before it, 'uncle.' Who was this girl? "Lovely." He muttered, coming to imagine her to be just like Cid, and having a short debate with himself whether he really wanted to help her. Of course he was going to, but he couldn't help but toy with the idea.
He stepped back, and turned to Feraligatr, "Water Gun." He instructed, "Gently though. Just wash the blood and dirt off." The large reptilian pokemon stepped closer and released a stream of water from its mouth, washing away the loose blood and dirt. It crouched closer, and gently ran a hand near the blood that would not simply wash away. After a few moments, her wounds were clean and visible on her arm and leg, at which point Feraligator stepped back.
Akhor nodded, and returned the pokemon to its pokeball, and the pokeball to its clip. He withdrew another one, and what appeared this time was a pokemon that came only to his shoulders: Lucario. "Extremespeed." He informed it, "Get back to town and find me some cloth of some kind for bandages." Lucario nodded, and was gone in the blink of an eye.

Ashah was nothing like her uncle. She was kind, gentle and sweet and she cared about her family and the pokemon that her father had owned. In fact she wanted to be a breeder one day, but she'd never really gotten started - all her time had been spent taking care of her father's pokemon and making sure that they were healthy and well looked after; she made sure they were in tip top shape for any battles her father had to commence in the gym. Though now her family were dead, and even though she wasn't quite aware of that yet, when she did know they were gone, maybe she could persue that dream of hers ...
The female remained just lying there, unnoticing to how she was being touched and taken care of. If she knew what kind of person Akhor was then she wouldn't be expecting Akhor to be taking care of her at all, even more so knowing that he worked with her uncle, who had set this whole thing up. Even so, she was too injured and too ill to really notice to care at the moment. Slowly however she was becoming more and more unconscious.
It was after Lucario left that she finally seemed to stir, and a little movement came from her. Eventually, after shifting a little and wincing every time she did, the girl opened her blood stained eyes, looking right up at Akhor though she didn't really see him. Her eyes were two shades of colour; her left was a bright emerald green, and her right, the one that was injured, was a cloudly crystal blue. It used to be much more vivid, but obviously the injury was more serious than anyone could have wished for her. Other than Cid that is.
The female was distracted a moment later as Growlithe, feeling over protectibe, came round the side that Akhor was on, and leant somewhat across him as if to block his view, and licked the side of Ashah's face as gently as he could, wagging his tail.
"Growlie ..." The female whispered gently, wanting to hold him, but not having the energy.

Akhor wasn't generally a bad person. Sure, he wasn't very nice, but he wasn't evil for the most part. He wouldn't just let some innocent person die. Then again, at this point he wasn't sure if this girl was innocent or not. He'd decided it didn't mater though, because obviously regardless of her personality, Cid did not like her, and he'd wanted her dead, along with the rest of her family. As such, the male had decided Cid would likely not be happy to see her alive, and that was the very reason he planned on bringing her back. He'd love to see the man's reaction.
Akhor glanced down at the Growlithe as it approached, then somewhat pushed him out of the way. He rolled his eyes, and rose to his feet, stepping back and allowing the pokemon some room. He crossed his arms about his chest as Jolteon came to stand, and then sit, beside him, watching as the slowly came to, and whispered the pokemon's name. Good, she was conscious.
He stepped a bit closer and hovered over her, an eyebrow raised as he unfolded his arms, and inspected her face. Her eyes had caught his attention, and he found them quite curious, "Can you hear me?" He asked, wanting to gauge how lucid she was at the moment. Just because she was awake didn't mean that she would understand him just yet. He hoped so though, he wanted answers.

The thing was that Cid hated Ashah-Raine the least. Apparently that didn't matter to him however, as he'd still tried to have her killed as well. He'd even overseen the whole event and announced as the house was being burnt to the ground, that it was his doing and that he was glad to see them all die. Even though Ashah wasn't with it enough to know that he entire family was dead, at least the nice side, she would be forever haunted with Cid's harsh words that night. He'd said some pretty nasty things then, and in the past as well. They would be a horrible reminder of what had occured here.
The female could hear Akhor, but at first she didn't respond, and instead tried to wake herself up. She thought maybe she still had her eyes closed, because out of one she could see onlu darkness, and the other one was cloudy and blurry and red, and she really didn't know what was going on, so she kept trying. After a while she gave up and simply rose a hand to her face to push her hair from injured face, and winced at the action. She hurt all over, really.
Stroking Growlithe's head briefly, she didn't think twice about getting to her feet, though once she was on them, she regretted it. The girl's legs felt like jelly, and one of them hurt a whole lot. She was barely able to stay on them for once thing. "Where's dad?" She asked quietly, not sure who she was even speaking to. She was lucid, but not entirely just yet, even though she was awake. In combination with her wobbly legs, and general tiredness however, the female couldn't see and therefore did not have great balance, and a moment after she spoke her knees buckled and she collapsed towards the floor like a wet noodle.
Growlithe barked, but he couldn't possibly catch her.

Akhor truly hoped that seeing the female would put a huge damper on Cid's day. He wondered if the man would try to kill the girl again or not. It would certainly make for some interesting drama, he was sure. After all, he'd killed her family and tried to kill her. He wondered how that conversation would go, and couldn't help but smile in amusement at the idea of it. He just hoped that it pissed Cid off.
Akhor stepped back as the girl tried to stand. He personally doubted that that was a good idea, but he wasn't about to go telling her what to do and what not. If she wanted to risk standing up when a house had just collapsed on her she could be his guest. Maybe when she fell she'd realize what a stupid move was. As such, when she began to wobble, and suddenly fell, he didn't make a move to catch her, not that he needed to.
Lucario returned at that moment, and was there just in time to stick an arm around Ash's shoulders and lower her gently to the floor. He met Akhor's gaze, of whom simply shrugged, before holding his hand out for whatever Lucario had found. It seemed that he'd taken someone's sheet and torn it into strips of cloth on his way back. That would work, he supposed.
The male went about to the side that Growlithe was not on, and knelt beside Ash, "Lie still." He commanded, taking one of the strips and beginning to wrap her leg with it.

Everything was kind of just a blur to the female. She remembered sitting down to eat dinner with the family, which included her father, mother and twin brother, and then there was a loud roar from outside. Her mother had gone to see what it was, but she never came back, and then from her direction the house was collapsing ... Ashah remembered something hitting her in the face, but everything after that was a complete blur, and she didn't have any recollection of it at all. She didn't even know that her family were dead yet. She knew they must be hurt, but it never crossed her mind that they, and all of her father's and brother's pokemon were gone forever ...
And that Uncle Cid ordered it.
The female felt an arm around her, but she would never guess that it was a pokemon, aside from the fact it didn't feel human. She still couldn't see properly. In fact she couldn't see any thing at the moment, though she suspected it was just from shock or something, and not because there was actually any thing wrong with her eye sight. She also blamed it on the massive headache, and her extreme tiredness. She ached every where as well.
Growlithe remained beside her, close, and once again laying up against her side as she had no choice but to lay down in the grass, as she could hardly keep herself upright. At Akhor's order she didn't protest - he didn't seem like the type to argue with, and she didn't even know who he was, or what he looked like. Either way he was helping her, so she felt honor bound to do as he asked. Or told her really. "Where is my dad?" She tried again, and then after a pause. "And who are you?"

Akhor found it rather heartless of Cid to kill people of his own blood. Especially since they really weren't a bother. There was nothing one man could do against The Order. It was far too powerful for him to interfere. But that wasn't how Cid saw things. Rebellion had to be crushed in his mind, and ruthlessly at that. It was by no means a diplomatic solution, which was the type that Akhor preferred, and it annoyed him that the man went about doing whatever he wanted in regards to things like this. It was completely unnecessary.
Lucario stepped aside, moving over by Jolteon as Akhor went to work with the bandages. He finished her leg and moved onto her arm, not even bothering to look her in the face as she spoke to him, "My name is Akhor." He responded, not answering her other question just yet. He didn't need her freaking out and crying, or attempting to get over to the house and save her already dead family.
He paused in his wrapping, turning to look at her, "And you are?" He inquired, raising an eyebrow and letting his gaze rest on her for a short moment, before turning back to her arm, which he finished wrapping.

Cid had no family, atleast not in his mind. Blood didn't matter to him if it weren't being spilled. He hated traitors and rebels and in his opinion they needed to be dealt with swiftly and harshy - be made an example of. Even if that example had to be his own family, he didn't care. Heck, it was only Braxis that had been against The Order - the rest of the family had been completely innocent, but that hadn't stopped him. He'd crushed them anyway, and he'd had fun doing it. He would not be happy to see Ashah alive.
Not one bit.
Ashah was momentraily distracted when the male answered his name, and though she could not really see him, she looked towards him none the less. She could make out a reddish blur, which she gussed as hair, but not much else. The female really wanted to get the blood and dirt out of her eyes so that she'd be able to see - she had no idea that one of her eyes was forever useless now. She would just have to come to terms with that when she needed to do, but right now she still wanted her question answering.
"Ashah-Raine." She answered, her voice betraying her exhaustion and her pain. She felt numb now, so the wrapping of her arm felt tingly instead of too painful, but with all her injuries together she was in pain none the less. "Please, tell me where they are." She started. "I live with three other people ... They should be here." She was in denial really. Her mind told her they were dead, but her heart was saying no, not to believe it. She was still in shock.
