The female scowled slightly at Akhor's words. She was usually a timid female, but was rather protective when it came to pokemon. She hated battling, and this Eevee was so young and small, she didn't eant to end up hurting the adorable little creature. She could catch it without battling, she believed. She thought she was close to doing so as well, as it came to sniff her hand, but Jolteon just had to go and ruin the atmosphere as he always did. He was so much like his master it was almost un real. It was certainly annoying.
"Jolteon, stop it!" She pleaded with the pokemon, watching as the Eevee attempted it's sand attack. The girl's eyes flickered up to Akhor, glaring at him slightly. ['b]"I don't have to battle it ... There's plenty more pokemon out there I can fight against."[/b] She wasn't going to take no for an answer. She would battle another pokemon, but not this one.

Jolteon turned back to face Ash as she scolded it, a snarl sounding in his throat. He didn't like being reprimanded, by anyone. Even Akhor. Not that the male ever did, seeing as it was very rare that Jolteon did something he didn't like, as the pokemon had a tendency to do whatever Akhor would himself in whatever situation.
Akhor sighed quietly in annoyance, "Fine, whatever. But the next one we find, regardless of what it is, you're battling it. And if you won't, Jolteon will." He had a feeling that would motive her, as she could battle it without doing too much damage. Jolteon would not hold back, and he was aware that the female would not want to see another pokemon hurt recklessly.

The female bit her lip for a moment, almost afraid that Jolteon would come after her. She never knew what to expect from him, which was a bit of a problem, because he was a little bit scary, just like Akhor. She was glad to see that the growl was the only thing she recieved, and almost immediately calmed herself, though was soon distracted by Akhor. She looked up at him, a defiant look on her face. "Fine." She was only going to do it because she was scared that Jolteon would get carried away. Really making Ash battle at all was a little cruel. She didn't like seeing anything get hurt.
Turning her attention back to the Eevee she smiled at it and reached forward again, attemoting to coax it towards it, as she reached into her back pocket and pulled out a pokeblock - she always kept some on her - and placed it down in front.

Jolteon snorted quietly, and retreated back over to Akhor's side, coming to sit on the spot that he chose. He watched Ash and the Eevee with narrowed black eyes, his gaze unwavering.
The Eevee seemed to relax when Jolteon distanced itself from her, and she edged a little closer toward Ash, curious about the girl who'd interfered to help her. She paused as Ash reached around behind her to grab something, tensing incase she should need to spring away, but relaxed once more when all the girl did was place a pokeblock down before her.
Leaning forward, she sniffed it curiously, then picked it up with her teeth, pulling it into her mouth as she ate it. She seemed deep in thought about the flavor, considering it, until she swallowed, at which point her energy seemed to increase as she barked loudly, excitement overtaking her fear in a clear request for more.

Ash watched Jolteon as he retreated, but quickly returned her attention towards the Eevee as it came towards her again. Her smiled widened as it ate the pokeblock and then got all excitable. The Eevee was so cute and as such the female giggled as she reached back again and pulled out another two, each of a different flavour and placed them in front of the Eevee as well. At this point Growlithe decided that he wanted to investigate, and creot forward until he came closer to Ash. He sat behind his owner so as to not frighten Eevee, though he leant forward with his head to peek around her and look.
"These are the last two I have. The others are back in my room, but I could make you some more if you wanted to come with me." The female spoke to the wild pokemon, her smile never faltering. She was going to give the pokemon a choice either ,way, but it hadn't attacked her. That was always a good sign. She liked to gain pokemon's trust.

Eevee happily at the other two pokeblocks that Ash set before her. She absolutely loved the taste of them! All of the flavors, so far. As she finished them, she turned her attention to Growlithe, tilting her head to the side slightly in curiosity as she investigated the other pokemon from where she sat. He was much kinder than the other dog-like pokemon that had come after her, that was for sure.
Eevee's attention returned to Ash as she spoke, and it let out a very excited bark, jumping up slightly so its front paws rested on Ash's knee. Clearly she was more than happy to do just that. She liked this girl!
"Can we go now?" Akhor asked impatiently.

Ash squeeled as the Eevee jumped partway on her knee, and she reached out with both her hands to pick the cute fuzzy creature up and bring her against her chest for a cuddle and so that she could carry her. "Don't worry, me and Growlithe will take care of you. Jolteon certainly won't be coming near you." As she said that she glanced at the yellow pokemon, narrowing her eyes slightly before turning back to Eevee and smiling at her warmly. Ash loved pokemon, and this one was absolutely adorable. Not to mention Growlithe seemed to like her.
At Akhor's voice the female looked up and then rose to her feet, still holding the Eevee close to her. "Okay okay, bossy boots." She replied.

Jolteon snorted quietly in response to Ash's words and glare, and turned about to face the opposite direction, which was the way they'd been walking before the Eevee appeared.
Akhor glowered at the female for a moment, none too happy with the nickname, "Just come on." He replied, turning about and starting to walk once more, Jolteon moving alongside him. So far this hadn't turned out to be as productive as he'd hoped. Sure Ash had gotten a new pokemon, but it was just another weak creature to add to her weak team! She needed to learn how to battle.

Ash quickly started after the male, hurrying to keep up with him once more, and ignoring Jolteon's snort. He seemed to do that a lot, like he was disappointed, or annoyed, whichever one it was though, Ash didn't like it. She wanted Jolteon and Akhor to like her, but it just seemed like they didn't care and would much rather she not be there at all. Ash kind of wanted to leave the place, but she had no choice but to stay now. If she had that choice however, she thought she would go - she didn't want to be in a place where she wasn't wanted.
The female sighed quiety, and turned to face Milotic. She stroked it's head for a moment, before allowing her back into her pokeball. There was no reason to have them all out as they walked, and Milotic could always come out again later, and play with Growlithe and Eevee.

Akhor lead Ash up the path that began to incline upward toward the mountain. It was a very level incline however, making the walk more than easy as it circled around the giant hill. It broke off and zagged in the opposite direction, before opening out onto a plateau, which was the direction in which he lead Ash and the pokemon. As they reached it, he slowed, as he could see the top of something over a near bush.
He made his way toward the edge of the plateau, circling around to see what it was, "Here." He said simply, gesturing to the pokemon, which was a Makuhita.

Ash was not the type of person who liked to battle and get into conflicts - she was the complete opposite of her uncle really, so it was no wonder that she would rather talk to the pokemon than fight them. She wouldn't even be inclined to enter a battle even a pokemon attacked her. The only reason she was agreeing to do this at all was because she would rather fight, than have Jolteon go and needessly damage a poor creature. Really though she thought it unfair that she was being made to do this - she wanted to be a breeder, not a trainer!
She slowed as Akhor did and followed him around until the Makuhita came into sight. She didn't think this pokemon was as cute as the ones she already had, but that didn't mean that she wanted to hurt it, still. She sighed, and stood quite still. Really she had no idea what she was supposed to do, so she inclined her head towards Akhor. "I don't just want to attack it ..."

Akhor sighed quietly in response to Ash's words, shaking his head slightly, "Well, either you do, or Jolteon does. Simple as that." His pokemon would get the battle rolling if Ash couldn't manage to do it on her own, which it was looking like she wouldn't. He thought she was just trying to get out of it though, not that she really was just unsure about how to go along with this.
"Just pick an attack and use it." He added.
By this time the Makuhita had noticed them, and turned about to face them, suspicion set in his gaze.

The female's eyes narrowed once more as Akhor made that small threat, and she glanced down at Jolteon before looking back up and over at the Makuhita. She felt really sorry for the little guy. Mind you, he could have been a giant, scary Primeape and Ash still would have felt that way. She liked all pokemon and hated the idea of hurting them, which was why she was against this, but she supposed that her attacking the wild one would be the lesser of two evils, so she would go along with it, but that didn't mean she was going to like it.
Ash was having a rather hard time deciding which pokemon she wanted to use however, until Growlithe looked up at her and barked. The female watched him as she considered something, and then reluctantly ushered hin forward. "Growlithe ... Use ember. Don't get too close." Fighting pokemon packed a mean punch. The female lifted up her Eevee somewhat to cover her eyes so that she wouldn't have to watch the fight.
Growlithe wagged his tail somewhat and shot forward, keeping some distance as he opened his mouth and a blast of fire shot out of it and at the wild pokemon.

The Makuhita lifted its arms, flexing slightly and letting out a rather loud battle cry in response to the Growlithe's advance. It leapt to the side, avoiding the majority of the Ember attack, although it did get scorched a bit on the side. It immediately found its footing and charged forward, drawing an arm back and aiming to use Arm Thrust on the fire type.
Akhor scowled as Ash lifted the Eevee to block her vision, "Would you stop that!?" He snapped, "Watch what's happening before Growlithe gets hurt because of your weak stomach!" She needed to be paying attention and into the battle. This wasn't all on Growlithe, she needed to participate as well.

A small disapproving sound left Ash's throat as Akhor chastised her and she slowly lowered the Eevee, who had a rather confused look upon her face. She knew the male had a point, but she just didn't want to watch - maybe it was a little selfish of her, but she'd never wanted to start fighting that poor little Makuhita to begin with. She really didn't understand was Akhor was so bothered if she knew how to protect herself or what. It seemed like this was just too much for him not liking Cid. Maybe the male just didn't want to admit that he liked her.
Shaking her head to clear her pointless thoughts the female pouted slightly, "I wouldn't let him get hurt." She mumbled, watching as the Makuhita fought back. She really didn't want to be doing this, and it was a shame really. Personally the female thought that usaing pokemon to battle was unfair. They were creatures of the wotld to, and she believed that they should be treated like friends and family. She tried her best with Growlithe and he was a happy, playful puppy. He could be stubborn sometimes, but Ash thought that if she'd brought him up differently he wouldn't be the same.
"Get out of the way!" Ash ordered the canine pokemon, who problem dashed to the side, narrowly missing Makuhita's attack. Once he was out of reach the Growlithe turned to face Makuhita again, it's fangs bared slightly. "Circle around and use ember again, but remember - not too close. Try and get him from different angles." Ash really had no idea what she was doing with this whole battling thing, but she was doing her best, and Growlithe was as well. He barked in ackowledgement to her instructions and darted around to the side, keeping his eyes on Makuhita as he let out a stream of fire again, moved around in a circle and repeated the action relentlessly.
