"Good." Akhor responded. He was unaware as to Ash's experience with her Ninetails, but he would not have changed his mind even if he was. Perhaps he might have been a bit more sympathetic... Eh, not really, but he would in the very least understand in a logical way. As it was, the Kyro Mountains were one of the only places in Star Region that had any Vulpix.
At last, Akhor turned left out of a door with a clear 'EXIT' sign above it, holding it open for Jolteon to pass through, before letting it go for Ash to catch. He wasn't much of a gentlemen, to say the least.
The mountains were practically in the base's backyard, as it was built near them as a means for protection, seeing as it eliminated a great deal of distance that an assault could come from. Trees lined the base of the of the mountains, where some of the pokemon lived, whilst clear trails could be seen climbing up through them where other types could be found.
Akhor lead the way toward the forest.

Ash would be even more upset if they came across any Vulpix'. It would bring back her memory of that day, and the last thing the female needed was another bad memory to make her dreamd into nightmares. She barely ever got any sleep any more, and she blamed it all on Cid fior what he had done to her family. The female really felt like she was alone in the world, and she just wanted to be surrounded by happy memorie's and thoughts. This would be easier if Akhor was a bit nicer though. She really liked him, and he didn't seem interested.
The female was so distracted by her thoughts that she walked straight into the door that she expected the male to hold open, and smached her forehead hard against the glass. She was instantly dazed.
Growlithe immediately ran behind Akhor and barked, sounding a little angry, while Milotic pushed the door open with her head and guided Ashah out, keeping herself close to soothe her.
"Ow, that hurt." Ash murmured.

((Haha. Door. Lol.))
Akhor glanced back at the sound of Ash colliding into the door, and Growlithe's resulting barks. Jolteon immediately spun on the spot, a snarl ripping through his throat in response to the smaller pokemon's angry sounds. Not only did he not want to hear it, but he wasn't one to stand for anyone acting like that toward Akhor.
The male watched as the Milotic pushed the door open for Ash, and she made her way out. He shook his head, "You should watch where you're going." He said. Of course he blamed her. Turning about, he started back down the path toward the trees.

((poor ashie =3 ))
Growlithe pretty much immediately backed off, whimpering quietly before he silenced himself and turned to head back towards Ash and the kindly Milotic who was still checking Ash to see that she was alright.
Ash was not a happy bunny and pouted slightly at Akhor's words, rushing to catch up with her two pokemon trailing behind, "I would have thought you would hold the door open for me. Is this how you usually treat girls? You're not going to ever get a girlfriend acting like this." She pointed out, rubbing the angry red mark on her head. She had a feeling that was going to be bruised by the next morning, which was somewhat annoying. And she was upset that Akhor was still being a complete ass. He could have held the door or warned her!

((Lol, yup))
Jolteon seemed rather pleased with himself as Growlithe went silent, and then turned about to retreat back over to Ash, and safety. He promptly turned about and made his way back to Akhor's side.
The male glanced over at Ash as she caught up and spoke, snorting quietly as he rolled his eyes, "Do you really think I want a girlfriend?" He asked, figuring she should have thought that one out a little more. He thought it was rather obvious that he wasn't the type to commit to or be interested in a relationship like that. Otherwise, he'd be a little bit nicer, at least to the girl he liked.
Oddly enough, in comparison to everyone else, he was being a lot nicer to Ash. He just didn't realize it.

Ash smiled slightly, and chuckled under her breath, placing a hand on Akhor's shoulder and leaning in close. "Ah, I see ... So it's not girls that you like." She was just teasing him, as she really though the male could do with a bit of fun. She had a feeling that he did like girls, just not in a relationship kind of way, more in a physical one. The thought of that however was a little bit disappointing. She didn't want to have to act like a tart to get his interest in any way, and would much rather have him like her in a more meaningful way. She wasn't sure if he was capable of that however.
"Why not anyway?" She asked, "I bet there's loads of girls out there that adore you." Maybe not for his personality though. She liked all of him however, and she couldn't explain why.

Akhor glanced over at her as she placed her hand on his shoulder, his eyes flickering down to said hand for a moment. This was another action like her leaning on him earlier. Did she even realize she was doing it? The male came to a complete and abrupt halt at Ash's words, his blue eyes widening slightly as his expression turned incredulous, before it quickly became clouded with anger, "Not funny." He snarled, before picking up his pace again, this time a little quicker.
His eyes narrowed further as she spoke again, and he looked at her from the corners of them, but did not turn his head, "Because I'm not interested." He replied, "I don't like being stalked." He was making a point to her, but what he meant by that was that having a girlfriend meant being with someone a lot more frequently than he wanted to.

Ash on the other hand found it rather amusing as her giggle suggested. It was clear that she didn't really think of Akhor as being that way inclined, but it was still funny to suggest it, and Akhor had put on that rather funny face!
The female rushed to catch up again, and quickly slipped her hand into tthe male's, aiming to slow him down. Though she realised she was doing this, and wondered what the male would do. "But you like girls right?" She inquired, figuring she already knew the answer. She just wanted to know what the male personally though about it all. "And if you're referring to me, I already told you I'm not stalking you! I just like being with you." She really had hoped that he would appreciate her presence by now.

Akhor slowed in response to Ash's grasping of his hand, simply because he'd turned to look and see if that was really what was happening. He seemed to study their hands together for a moment, before he quickly pulled his away as Ash spoke, at which point he lifted his gaze to look at her, "Of course I do." He responded sharply, his tone indignant. Had she not heard all of Cid's annoying comments earlier?
He sped up a bit again, "I'm sure that's it." He responded to her sarcastically at her words about not stalking him. As far as he was concerned, she was doing just that. She could have no other excuse.

Teasing Akhor was getting to be quite fun, as Ashah was quickly discovering. She watched him study their hands together, and then chuckled as the male pulled away. For a moment it seemed as if he might be thinking about something, which she hoped was something along the lines of 'wow we look good together' or something. Akhor was just being himself as usual, it seemed.
"Then you must automatically like me. You just don't want to admit it. I bet that secretly you don't really mind having me around." She mused, following closely behind the male. "You know you really should be flattered that a girl wants to follow you around." Most guys would be thrilled! Especially if they were Akhor. Ash would happy spend every second with him, doing whatever he wanted to do, but he just didn't seem at all interested.

Akhor on the other hand was finding it incredibly annoying. However, the male didn't seem to realize that Ash was doing this on purpose now. He simply thought that that was her personality and it just came naturally. Perhaps it was anyways, but she was certainly making an effort at this point to frustrate him and embarrass him.
Akhor glanced over at Ash as she spoke, sparing a moment to glare at her, before turning back to the path ahead as the entered the forest and neared the mountain base, where the trail began to slant upward, "Just because I like girls doesn't mean I automatically have to like you." He growled, sounding somewhat flustered, "And I'm not flattered. Just annoyed!"

Acting this way took the female's mind off of things, which was why she did it. Plus it was in the girl's nature to joke around and be nice to people. That was just the way she was. Ash realised that Akhor wasn't a naturally nice person, or friendly, but she did hope that some of her personality would rub off on him. It wasn't that she wanted to change the way he was, she just wanted him to lighten up. Sometimes she even wondered if getting him drunk would work for a little while - she'd love to see what he was like when he'd been drinking.
She followed after the male, paying no attention whatsoever to where they were going, and instead remained focused on the red head. "Don't tell me your one of those guys who only cares about looks and not personality ..." She mumbled, rolling her eyes.

Akhor had been told several times that he was much more fun when he was drunk, by those brave enough to inform him of it, but he never took the comment kindly. And yet, he tended to drink rather frequently.
"How about we just don't talk about my preferences regarding girls?" He suggested sharply, glancing over toward her. He seemed about to add something more to that, but silenced himself at the sound of a rustling bush near by. He halted, turning to look at it, and taking note that it had indeed rustled, "Jolteon." He said.
The pokemon darted to the side, then barreled through the bush, flushing out a small, furry brown pokemon. It was an Evee.

Ashah pouted slightly at the male's words, ready to listen to whatever else he had to say, before she noticed that both he and Jolteon had come to a stop. She tilted her head, watching as the yellow pokemon barrelled through the bush and forced out a rather adorable looking Eevee. Ash had to bite her lip from awwing at it, but it was a hard task for her. Even Growlithe seemed to think the little thing was adorable, and sat down behind Ash, watching the creature rather carefully with his big eyes, and his head tilted.
"Aw its so cute." The female finally let out, slowly and carefully making her way towards the Eevee and holding a hand out towards it. She had a sort of gift with pokemon - the majority of them liked her, and she hoped that the little brown one would do so to. "Hey there. Where's your mummy?" She spoke to it, almost as if expecting it to answer her.

Akhor sighed quietly at Ash's response to seeing the pokemon. She would just call it cute, rather than start a battle. The male couldn't help but roll his eyes as she inquired of it where its mom was, shaking his head slightly, "Stop talking to it and battle it Ash!" He exclaimed.
The Eevee was stuck between being afraid of Jolteon, and trying to appear tough and strong in response to Ash. He leaned forward to sniff her hand, but leapt to the side when Jolteon snapped at it. The little pokemon growled quietly, then leapt forward, shoving his front feet into the dirt and sending a spray of sand at Jolteon, whom turned his back toward the attack to avoid it doing any good.
