The moment he answered her, a slight saddened look crossed the female's face. She didn't know if he meant what he said or if he was just saying it because he was in a mood with her, or what, but it wasn't nice to hear it at all. It meant that she pretty much had no-one in the world that cared for her. She had cousins, and some aunts and uncles, but she never saw them or spent any time with them, so it didn't really count. And ofcourse she believed that it was silly that Akhor bought her back here if he didn't care what happened to her. He was such an ass sometimes.
All the time.
"I'm not stalking you." She informed him, the look onm her face suggesting that she found that accusation rather insulting. She didn't see what she was doing as stalking, and her following of him wasn't really a conscious action. She just did. The girl couldn't help but be dependent on him, and she needed him to understand that. "And no, I'm not masochistic. Is it so wrong of me to want to be around you? I would have thought you'd be grateful, seenas no one else talks to you ... At all." She'd noticed that barely anyone ever went near him, unless it was important.

Akhor didn't even notice the expression on Ash's face. His attention was focused ahead of him and on where they were going, not on the person that he was currently having a conversation with. The male lacked manners in a social setting, but was fully educated in those of a formal one. He was very respectful toward the Emperor and such, but when it came to one on one conversations, he was very blunt, and basically acted like he currently was with Ash. He didn't do it on purpose, it was just what came naturally.
The male cast a doubtful glance over at Ash as she claimed not to be stalking him. Clearly he disagreed. That was the second time he'd accused her of it, and certainly would not be the last. How could you call it anything else? She was constantly following him, and against his will at that! He didn't want her around, and yet there she was. Every second, of every day.
Annoyance flickered across the boy's face at her words, and he turned to glare at her for a brief moment, "I wonder if there's a reason for that." He responded, his tone containing an air of sarcasm. He realized that people didn't like him, but nor did he make a point to change it, simply because he didn't want people to want to be near him and talk to him. Other people annoyed him. He was perfectly fine on his own, although he still didn't appreciate Ash pointing out that people didn't like him.

Ash on the other hand was very polite usually, and friendly, though there were times that she could be shy, especially around people that she liked. She liked Akhor, god knows why, but because she was dependent on him and relied on him for guidance however reluctantly he would give it to her, she was a bit more forward with him, hence her 'stalking' and sitting in his bath room while he showered. She didn't want him to be angry with her, but at the same time she couldn't help herself. Being away from Akhor was like a nightmare - she couldn't get enough sleep as she was too scared, she became restless and her thoughts were always on him. She'd listen to anything he had to say.
The female bit her lip as the male turned to her, obviously annoyed, "Well you know, you could have friends if you weren't so intimidating! I bet there's a soft side to you, it just takes some digging to get there." She wasn't saying that Akhor was horrible, just that there had to be a nicer person underneath his tough facade. A smile spread across the girl's lip as she thought about this, "You may not realise it, and regardless of the fact that you don't care about me, apparently, you've been helping me all this time, so I know I'm right." She didn't think that he'd be helping her if he wasn't interested in having friends at all, or if there wasn't a nice side to him.

Akhor was very used to being on his own, aside from Jolteon. He didn't socialize, and he purposefully avoided creating relationships of any kind. His time with women was purely physical, not emotional, and they knew that as well, as it was what they were looking for too. He didn't make friends, and as such, found it very odd that Ash was so interested in being around him. No one, wanted to be around him. It was just, odd. Weird. Freaky. He didn't know what to make of it or what to do with it.
The annoyed expression on the boy's face merely intensified as he stared at Ash, wondering if she'd gone crazy or something, "Keep talking like this and I might just let Cid have you." He threatened, before turning into a room on his right, and making his way over to a large computer set up directly ahead of them. He took the seat that sat before it, and logged in.

Ash didn't have a lot of relationships herself, and especially not with members of the opposite gender like Akhor did, but she was definatelt easier to get along with than the male. She didn't try very hard really, to make friends, but people would talk to her and not be scared as she imagined they were around Akhor. He was very intimidating and not at all friendly or welcoming. Besides all that he was one of the lords of The Order, which she supposed didn't help if people found out. Not to mention he was supposed to be the nicer one, but in Ash's opinion he acted a lot like Cid sometimes. They were both unapproachable.
The female sighed quietly as Akhor spoke, deciding that she had better keep her mouth shut for a bit, incase Akhor was being serious. She followed him into the room, and as he sat down and logged in she hurried over and leant upon his shoulders, looking over one of them. She had nothing against physical contact, and this was completely harmless. She wasn't even thinking about what she was doing.
Growlithe followed them in and came to sit on one side of Akhor.

Jolteon came to sit on the opposite side of Akhor, and for a moment leaned forward to look around the chair at the Growlithe on the other side, before he sat back.
Akhor wasn't really being serious about giving Ash up to Cid without any protection. That would make everything he'd done up to this point a complete and total waste, and he didn't like it when his efforts were wasted. The male stiffened slightly as Ash leaned upon him, and turned his head slightly, looking at her out of the corners of his eyes. She seemed oblivious to her intrusion however, so he simply ignored it, aside from a slight twinge of annoyance in his expression.
After the procession of a few more clicks and keys tapped, the screen came up with a variety of pokemon upon it, listed with their levels, genders, abilities, and attacks. The most powerful were a Garchomp, Dewgong, Ampharos, Seviper, Ninetails, Rapidash, and Persian. But instead, the male selected the last three, which were the lowest in level, "Choose one of these." He instructed. They were a Milotoc, a Treekno, and a Starly.

Growlithe on the other hand was doing everything he could to avoid looking in Jolteon's direction. He was rather afraid of the yellow pokemon, and who could blame him? Jolteon kept growling him and acting in a threatening manner, whereas Growlithe was small and timid and just wanted to be friends.
Ashah was oblivious to her invasion of Akhor's personal space (though she kind of doubted he minded girls being close to him. Then again, perhaps he didn't like her at all, which made her a little disappointed). Her eyes flitted to the screen as he spoke and she leaned a little further over him, effectively pressing herself against the back of the chair and the top half of the male's back, though again she was completely oblivious to this. She scanned the pokemon inside the PC and tilted her head to the side, looking at the last three rather closely.
A smile spread across her lips as she scanned the Milotic, "What's she like?" She asked curiously. Milotics were beautiful and loyal pokemon, she knew. She'd like to have another friend.

Ash was quite right in her assumption of his preferences of personal space and girls. If she were a boy, he'd have quite rudely ordered her to get the hell off of him. He was much more relaxed around girls, which was saying something, considering how he still acted. The male did enjoy the occasional - or more so - drink, which loosened him up indefinitely. That was when he interacted with people, namely women, much more freely. Overall though, his relations with girls were much better than with men.
The male stiffened with slight annoyance a little more as the female leaned further upon him. She didn't even realize it, which only frustrated him more. He focused on the pokemon instead, trying to ignore her, "Let's just say she's the opposite of Jolteon." Kind, loving, caring, totally like Ash, "In fact, she's a lot like you."

Ash was the opposite of Akhor, again, in the way that she was not comfortable around the opposite sex really. At times she was okay, but Ash could be rather shy as well. Then again she didn't have many female friends either, as she got on a lot more easy around pokemon, so she tended to stick with them versus humans. Really, even though they had a lot of differences, Akhor and Ash were very similar and the female could see that. She just wished that the male was more open to admitting as such. They'd known eachother a few weeks now, afterall, and he was still treating her like the enemy. Well, not now he wasn't. Ash thought he was being rather sweet.
The female's smile grew wider as she glanced over at Jolteon for a moment and then back at the screen. Milotic sounded great! "She sounds great already." She said, "I have her please." She was really quite excited to meet the pokemon, as was Growlithe, whose tail was wagging in delight.

Akhor waited patiently for Ash to choose, which she did rather quickly by announcing her interest in the Milotoc. He immediately rose from the chair, slipping out from beneath her where she leaned against him, and grabbed an empty pokeball from the rack off to the right. He set it down on a cupped saucer looking stand that was attached to the computer, and returned to they keyboard, although he did not sit. After the pressing of a few keys, the sound of the machine powering up could be heard, and the pokeball shook the slightest before the computer quieted.
Picking up the pokeball, he tossed it into the air, and in a flash of red light the Miolotic appeared, "It's level 18." He informed her, "And it knows Water Gun, Wrap, Water Sport, Refresh, Water Pulse, and Twister." He caught the pokeball as it returned, and then tossed it over to Ash, "You belong to her now." He informed the pokemon.

The female was quick to straighten herself up so that she did not risk herself falling over as Akhor removed himself, and her eyes watched as he went about doing various things. She could really care less about what the male had to say, about attacks and what not, and more about the Milotic as it appeeared. Ashah was immediately in awe at the sight of the beautiful pokemon, and she tilted her head as the Milotic did the same and they stood there watching eachother closely in silence.
Milotic glanced at Akhor as he spoke and threw the pokeball at Ash who caught it, and then turned back to her new owner, before moving over to her. The two females continued to watch eachother, and then the pokemon curved around Ash somewhat, bringing her head level with Ash's. The clear affection had Ash smiling, and without a single warning she moved away from Milotic, stroking it's head as she passed, and quickly wrapped her arms around Akhor, and kissed him on the cheek. "Thankyou!"
She moved back to the pokemon before Akhor could yell at her or something.

Akhor watched as Ash interacted with the new pokemon. He and Milotoc and had never really gotten along considering their vastly different personalties. The rest of his pokemon were either like him, or enough so to get along with him. He only had her because she was rare, and as such kept ahold of her for that reason. Otherwise he would have released her or given her away a long time ago. So he was rather glad to have a reason to do something with her.
Surprise flashed across his face as Ash caught him off guard, hugging and kissing him before he could even react. He glowered half-heartedly at her afterward, but said nothing other that his response of a quiet snort, "Come on. Let's go find something for you to battle." He returned to the keyboard, logged out, then turned for the door, Jolteon trailing after him.

Ashah had seen Milotic in magazines and posters and such before, but never been up close to one and as such had not realised how beautiful they were. She was glad to tha this was apparently like her, and she was not about to disagree. She definately wasn't like Akhor, or she might have hissed at her or something. Rather the Milotic already seemed rather friendly and trusting, and as such Ash was happy about that, and ready to develo9p a nice long friendship with her.
Until Akhor suggested they go battle.
The female's face dropped and she quickly jogged after Akhor, Growlithe and Milotic following behind her as they watched each other closely. "Right now? Can't we go later?" She asked sweetly, putting on her most innocent and cute face that she could, hoping that it might have an effect.

Akhor glanced over his shoulder as he and Jolteon passed through the door in unison, an eyebrow raised in response to Ash's question, as if asking if she really thought that would work. To answer his own question, he simply said, "No." Before turning back to watch were he was going, and taking a right down the hall. There was an exit up ahead that would lead them out toward the Kyro Mountains, which was the closet pokemon population to the base.
The male turned once more to look at Ash, "Or, I can go drop you off with CId." He added, offering her an alternative he knew that she would decline. He was simply making a point though. Ash didn't seem to realize how important it was that she learned to defend herself. He wouldn't always be around to do it for her, and nor did he want to have to be.

The female's eyes narrowed slightly at Akhor's answer and she sighed quietly, walking quickly behind him so as to keep up. She didn't respond to him at first however, as she was still thinking of ways to try and get out of fighting. She didn't like battling, and had never wanted to do it after her beloved Ninetails was killed during an incident in the forest and he was killed. She swore that day that she would never make a pokemon fight, because she didn't want any of them to get hurt, which included any wild ones.
It was only after the male mentioned Cid that she bit her lip and finally agreed. "Okay." She said quietly, obviously not very happy about the arrangement. She glanced over at her two pokemon that were following behind her and then looked forward again. She was scard of Cid and would do what she could to avoid him.
