i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer It was almost impossible for the woman to hide her boredom. She audibly yawned, staring blankly down into the cup of her irish coffee on the table where she sat at an outside cafe. Sure she shouldn't really be drinking at this time in the morning but really it would take substantially more alcohol to get her at all drunk. She had alot of practice. Mukrow perched on her shoulder, pruning himself as always and charmander sat at her feet, playing with his tail.
The red haired woman was almost dozing off, she was that bored, until Mukrow squawked in her ear. Looking up, she saw the silhouette of a girl at the other end of the street. Scara would have let her pass by without another look but Murkow had obviously seen or sensed her pokemon. A battle could be fun? Better than nothing. Grabbing the mug, she downed the rest of the coffee, leaving the table to cross the street. "Hey! she shouted to Kira, "Hey you there!"

After having spent much time in the forest – unfortunately without much luck in training – Kira had gone to Stormcloud City to have a look in the city and, you know, relax a bit. Sakura, her Ponyta, went beside her as she always did when it wasn’t rainy. Even though it was early noon, the city was already full of people – or so it felt to Kira. After all, she wasn’t used to living in the city since she’d lived outside of it with her parents and grandfather. And now when she was a trainer she didn’t spend that much time in the cities either. Unless she should battle in a Gym of course. She’d wondered if she should try to battle in Stormcloud City’s Gym, but it was all too soon. All of her Pokemon needed some more practice – not to mention herself as a trainer. After all, she didn’t want to look like a fool in her first Gym battle.
Sakura nipped her in her short, black hair. ”Sakura, don’t you think my hair is tousled enough? Just a little more and it won’t be much better than a Pidgot’s nest.” She tried to make a hair less messy with a hand, but of course it wasn’t of much use. ”I didn’t do it just for fun. Well, not this time. It’s because of the lady over there, I think she’s calling for you,”
Sakura said with interest in her voice while she pointed with her white muzzle toward a red-haired woman who was on her way across the street, calling for them. The woman was almost the opposite of Kira. Not that she was towering above her, but her hair was long, she looked pretty and her body was… well-shaped. And there was a strange aura around her that Kira couldn’t put a finger on. Maybe it was just because she looked so confident. She held a hand on Sakura’s neck. Somehow it was just nice for her to stand like that. ”Uhm, yearh, hi… What do you want? I don’t think I know you..”She tried to be polite but couldn’t help but wonder why the young woman had stopped her. A Mukrow sat on the red-haired woman’s shoulder and Kira could feel on Sakura’s neck that she didn’t like the sight of the Darktype Pokemon. The muscles in the Ponyta’s neck were slightly tensed, and it would be hard to see with the eye – but not impossible. [/blockquote]

i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer From her seat, she hadn't registered the Ponyta with the girl and was rather surprised that she did manage to miss the horse. Maybe that early morning booze had taken its tolls on her? But clearly Mukrow had spied it, and its potential. It did not look particularly old, so she guessed the trainer was particularly new. Even better for Scara, as her own pokemon were not particularly high in level. Charmander had grabbed his tail, holding it up so it didn't trail along the ground as he followed his trainer across the road.
"Don't worry love", Lady Helfire laughed. Very much a relaxed, easy going and confident woman, she didn't any qualms referring affectionately to people she'd just met. "I couldn't help but notice your Ponyta. What a fine whiny you've got there" she grinned, her smile stretching from ear to ear. "Since we're both in town, you wanna battle?" she asked, bluntly while flick a strand of hair over her shoulder. She just wanted a simple battle right now, there was no need for the girl to know of her allegiance to the Order. Her incredibly high ranking within the order. But if the girl proved herself in this battle, she would definitely be ear marked as a concern. Mukrow cocked his head, sharp eyes glaring intently at the pony. By now, a crowd had began to gather. Pokemon battles in the street were common and some people just continued on their daily business, others always enjoyed a watch and began to form a wide circle around them. Kira didn't really have a choice now. "I've got two pokemon, I can do you two singles or a double battle." she offered, letting the other trainer chose. Sharply on her heels, Scara turned, her hair and long red robes flicking behind her with a characteristic swish as she walked back to the edge of the circle, putting enough space between them for a battle. Mukrow screeched from his perch, eager to get started while Charmander stood by Scara's side, waiting for orders.

The young woman sounded fair enough, but there was still something about her Kira didn’t like very much. As she spoke to Kira, the new trainer noticed the Charmander standing with the red-haired woman. It didn’t take long for Kira to know what the stranger wanted – she didn’t even have to say it out loud before Kira knew she wanted to battle. Just the way she talked about Sakura was enough for her to know. And then it came, the question. She’d said it very bluntly, but it wasn’t new that one trainer just came and asked another trainer if he or she wanted to battle. And it wasn’t new in the city either. Just by saying the word “battle” out loud, the young woman had started to draw attention from others. Kira had seen battles in the city before, but it was a quite different thing to be the one who was challenged.
But there was no way she would let this challenge go.
”I’ll gladly take your challenge. Then you can also see just how fine a whiny she is,” Kira said, starting to show her own confidence. After all, with Sakura knowing Ember and with Gastly as her second Pokemon, it wouldn’t be too hard to fight the flying Mukrow. The Charmander was a different matter. It was a fire-type, so she couldn’t use Oddish. This would become a double-battle with Sakura and Gastly against Charmander and Mukrow. She went to the other side of the circle of people, then turning around with a confident smile toward the other trainer. ”I’m ready for a double battle, so there’s nothing to say but; let the best trainer win!” And that’s me, of course!
Kira thought as she took Gastly’s pokeball from her belt. She threw him up in the air where he emerged in a red flash of light. ”Gastly, I choose you! Sakura, you’re on!” The Ponyta went forward immediately with a whinny to stand beside the flying ghost-type. Species: Ponyta Type: Fire Gender: Female Level: 9 Abilities: Run Away: Except for trainer battles, can always run from battle. Cannot run during Mean Look or Block or when the opponent is trapping with the Arena Trap, Magnet Pull, or Shadow Tag ability. - Flash Fire: Activates when user is hit by a damaging Fire-type move (including Fire-type Hidden Power). Once activated, user’s Fire-type moves deal 1.5 times damage. While this ability is in effect, this Pokémon is immune to damage from Fire-type attacks. Attacks: Tackle, Growl, Tail Whip, Ember. Species: Gastly Type: Ghost/Poison Gender: Male Level: 5 Ability: Levitate: Damage dealing Ground-type moves have no effect on this Pokémon. Cannot be trapped by Arena Trap ability. i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer Scara smiled. "Very well, may the best trainer win" she acknowledged with a nod of her head. Kira had made the choice to have a double battle. The Gastly was suprising and the woman did not expected the girl to have a ghost type as well as the Ponyta but it would make for an interesting battle. She glanced down at her Charmander, giving a nod. Still clutching his tail, he walked forward into the battle field. Mukrow was much more enthusiastic, leaping off his trainers shoulder into the air, circling around Charmander's head, waiting for the battle to start.
"Let's start this thing with a bang!" Scara shouted, spurring her team into action. Mukrow cawed loudly, wings beating heavily as he flew direct towards the Gastly. He snapped his beak open, releasing a deafening, high pitched screech. Astonish. A ghost type move which would hopefully cause the Gastly to flinch. Whether it did or not was no big deal. The battle had only begun. He made no effort to change his course, wings still flapping as he flew directly through the Gastly, using the air space behind him to turn to come in for a second attack.
Charmander was more weary than his comrade, edging forward slowly. "Scratch attack!" his trainer ordered and he began to break into a run towards the Ponyta. His claws were outstretched. Driving his arm forward, he made a swipe for the Ponyta's front leg. Unfortunately he was further out of range than he would have liked to have been, giving the Ponyta time to move or retaliate if she was quick off the mark.
This battle had proved quite the conundrum. Both trainers possessed fire type pokemon, so fighting fire with fire was a useless endeavor. But with Charmander fighting Sakura, he left Mukrow free to fight Gastly, which Mukrow's dark type would be super effective against. So as it stood, she had a chance of losing one pokemon in battle to take out another, leaving Mukrow and Ponyta in the fray to duel it out, or she could have them switch targets, with her bird more likely to cause damage to the horse, but Charmander would not be able to hit the Gastly unless he gained enough experience from the battle to learn another attack as the physical scratch attack would not be enough. There was more strategy and tactics to consider than she had anticipated. First she would wait to see how Kira and her team reacted.

As the young woman’s two Pokemon came into battle, the challenge started immediately. Her Charmander looked like a little shy one while her Mukrow seemed to be more eager about the whole thing. The Mukrow was the first to charge and he aimed for Gastly. ”Gastly, dodge Mukrow’s attack!” Kira shouted to the ghostpokemon but it was too late. Gastly looked confused of what was happening and was therefore hit by Mukrow’s sharp beak. Kira could see the Astonish-attack had hurt him but he would be alright for now. Another thing was the sound from the attack. ”Snap out of it Gastly and use Hypnosis against Mukrow! Don’t let him attack you a second time!” Gastly turned around quickly to aim for the dark bird. The Astonish-attack had made him angry, so he didn’t want to miss the chance to let the Mukrow fall into sleep with his Hypnosis-attack. And about the dark-type, Kira knew that Sakura would be a better opponent toward Mukrow than Gastly would. Gastly was after all a ghost-type and she wasn’t sure if he could win against the Mukrow on his own.
As the Charmander slowly went forward, still nervous and without and order, Sakura stamped her two front hooves down in the ground in her own rhythm, daring the Charmander to come closer. There was no doubt that Sakura felt superior about this one. When the other trainer ordered him to use Scratch, Kira wondered if the Charmander even was in high level enough to know a fire-attack. But a fire-attack wouldn’t help against Sakura. On the other hand, if Charmander didn’t know a fire-attack that meant he almost would be useless against Gastly right? Unless he got enough experience in this battle to get an attack he could use. So if Mukrow would faint first, the chances of winning could be better.
”Sakura, dodge Charmander’s attack and use Ember against Mukrow!” Kira shouted. As the Ponyta got the orders, she leapt away from the Charmander’s attack and aimed for the Mukrow with Ember. The flames weren’t big or frightening, but they were still powerful enough to reach the Mukrow if he still was in the air with Gastly. EXP: 365

Mukrow began his turn. His wings were outstretched, gliding swiftly but elegantly round in a circle until he was again on a direct flight path to the Gastly. "Mukrow, move!" Scara ordered, shouting at him to get out of the way but it was too late. Mukrow had flown directly into the path of the hypnosis. Unfortunately the blackbird was a vain and proud creature and he was going to continue with his attack regardless of the consequences. To turn back or dodge was a sign of weakness and it had been his downfall. The hypnotic rays transmitted through the air, capturing the crow between them. His eyes began spiral in confusion and his eyelids felt heavy as if they had weights attached to them, dragging them down. He fought to keep them up but the attack was too successful and they closed completely, sending him into a deep sleep.
It was never a good idea to fall asleep in the air. As soon as his eyelids closed, his control of his muscles began to go. His wings flailed and he flapped around in the lopsided before they gave in completely. Unable to do anything as he snored into dreamland, he fell from the air, just in time to fall beneath the flames of the ember attack. It was a slight bonus at least but it was over shadowed by the damage done from the thud! as he hit the ground asleep. "Charmander, quick!", the Lady ordered. Moving quickly passed Sakura, the charmander skidded to a halt next to Mukrow. He flicked his orange tail, holding it over the sleeping crow, the flame on the end hopefully enough to ward off the Gastly. His eyes turned back to the Ponyta, his claws were outstretched. Hopefully he could keep the horse preoccupied enough for his battle partner to wake up but for now he was at a serious disadvantage of two-against-one.

As the Mukrow’s eyes began to close, Kira felt like luck was on her side. The Hypnosis-attack had hit the dark bird and even though he fought against the drowsy feeling which the attack had caused, he had to give in and fall to the ground. And as he fell down to the ground, something that looked like a smile appeared on the Gastly’s dark face. It was clear that just this little attack had boosted up some of his confidence. Unfortunately, as the Mukrow fell, he avoided Sakura’s Ember-attack, but Kira wouldn’t let herself dwell with that fact – she could still win this with her Pokemon.
But it seemed like the other trainer thought the same thing. She ordered her Charmander to stand between the sleeping Mukrow and Sakura, its flaming tail trying to keep Kira’s flying Gastly away. But she knew Sakura wouldn’t be scared away by the Charmander’s claws – that wasn’t necessarily a good thing if she became too careless. Kira didn’t want to be reckless and just attack without thinking, but she also knew she had to let her Pokemon attack before the Mukrow would wake up since it was now she had a good chance. She couldn’t just let this opportunity pass so she shouted to her Gastly. ”Gastly, use Lick, but watch out for Charmander’s tail and claws!” Gastly would hopefully be more careful at this moment when attacking since he was less confident. Then she turned to Sakura ”Sakura, use Tackle on Mukrow but remember to look out for Charmander!”The Gastly nodded and quickly moved toward the Charmander to use Lick while Sakura ran forward toward the two opponents to attack the sleeping, dark bird. Kira hoped that Gastly’s attack would keep Charmander busy while Sakura attacked the Mukrow. She’d thought about making Gastly use Hypnosis at the Charmander but at this moment that would be too dangerous – he could risk to use the attack against Sakura instead of the opponent, and that was a chance Kira didn’t want to take. So she could only hope that her little diversion worked.

i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer For picking this battle, out of boredom and for little of a threat the girl could be in a battle, Scara was surprisingly down on her luck. She was losing. And it frustrated her. But she shrugged it off. A strong drink would erase the memories of losing later on. Now she just had to try her best to claw back the battle.
"Do your best, Charmander. Take 'em down" the trainer ordered. While Charmander was getting stronger, she knew the battle would be won or lost by Mukrow and Kira was beginning to pick up on that too, ordering the Ponyta to tackle the sleeping bird. The Gastly phased in towards Charmander, his pink tongue slapping the lizard's face in a lick attack, knocking him away from protecting Mukrow and inflicting some damage in process. The damage was beginning to fatigue him, slow him down. Being pushed back left Mukrow open for the tackle. The horses tackle collided with the bird, knocking him. Hit by the attack, he began to stir in his sleep, the drowsiness beginning to wear off. It still wasn't enough yet and he remained on the ground, asleep. "Charmander, attack!" the red head shouted, fearful the Ponyta may attack again. Rearing his head back, the orange lizard began to spit small orange flames at the horse, hoping to deter her from Mukrow for a second. Enough for him to finally regain consciousness.

Gastly’s pink tongue licked Charmander and made the opponent move away from Sakura’s target – the sleeping Mukrow. Gastly’s Lick-attack had done some damage on the firepokemon but even though he was getting slower due to the attack it was far from enough to make him eat the dirt. The red-haired woman’s pokemon was getting stronger in level but so were Kira’s. And they were still fit for fight. They still had a chance to win this, and now Kira could see it in the other trainer’s face as well. It looked like the other trainer actually thought she was good at this. She could thank her pokemon for that; Sakura was just awesome as Kira always thought she was and Gastly was definitely doing a great job as well. Both of them could be proud of themselves.
As Sakura hit the Mukrow with her Tackle-attack, Kira could see that the dark-type soon would wake up again. Maybe she only had one or two chances more to strike him before he would wake up. So maybe she shouldn’t let Sakura attack him with Tackle anymore but instead use a fire-attack. The young trainer didn’t have more time than that to think about her next move, because Charmander was defending his buddy, making small embers emerge from his mouth, and aimed them at Sakura. ”Sakura, dodge Charmander’s attack!” she shouted. Sakura tried to get away from the firepokemon’s attack, but she was too close to Charmander to get away and all the embers hit her. This, though, had a completely other effect on Sakura than Kira had imagined. As soon as the embers hit her white skin the flames grew as if they had just been fed with dry wood and for a few seconds, the Ponyta was all in flames. Then, the flames around her disappeared. Sakura looked more tired than before, but she stamped on the street with a hoof, showing that she still was able to battle.
Sakura, use Ember on Mukrow! Kira shouted. ”With pleasure,”
Sakura snorted and sent her own Ember-attack back to their opponents, not caring if she would hit the Charmander as well. But her Ember-attack was much stronger than it usually had been. The reason was that her ability Flash Fire now was activated from the Charmander’s attack, making Sakura’s fire-attack deal 1,5 times more damage than it would have done before. Since Kira hadn’t known about this ability before now, the fact that Sakura before had been all in flames now made sense. Because Sakua had been hit by the attack, it had inflected some damage but on the same time activated her ability. ”That’s it Sakura!” Kira cheered, now ready for giving Gastly a move to do. ”Gastly, use Lick on Charmander again!” Gastly immediately flew toward the Charmander after he’d gotten the order, ready to attack the lizard. But instead of using Lick, he used Spite; unleashing what grudge he might have for Charmander’s Ember-attack. ”No Gastly, I said Lick, not Spite. G-get away from the Charmander before he attacks you!” But Gastly suddenly looked confused. He was sure he’d been told to use Spite, and in his confused condition, he wouldn’t be fast enough to dodge an attack from the Charmander who suddenly was very close to him. i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer ooc. nah, you're understand it fine.
The flames shot from Sakura, racing towards Mukrow and Charmander. The flames licked at the tail feathers, breathing life back into the black bird. With a loud squawk, Mukrow sprang back into life. Flapping his wings rapidly, he took off into the air, reaching a height above the heads of the two trainers, out of the range of attacks until he could regain control completely.
The flames had also struck the charmander, licking up his legs, burning him slightly. Much like the Ponyta, Charmander's ability was activated by fire. The blaze attack would increase his damage by one and a half times, but only now that his health was below one third. Any attacks now would be a last ditch effort for Charmander who was closing to dropping out of the battle. "Make it count, Char!" Scara shouted, readying herself for the impending fainting of Charmander. The confused Gastly may have been the break she needed."Use the last of your ember!" she ordered. The spite attack had given them a reprise, and while it had lowered the amount of times he could use ember, he still had it in him for at least one more, shooting flames from his mouth directly at the Gastly.
Scara turned her attention back to Mukrow, who was circling overhead. It was clear the battle would be decided between Sakura and Mukrow. It's not that she didn't care about Charmander, but she was aware that he was the weaker of the two, but any other hit he could get in would be a blessing, as one more attack would likely finish him off. "Mukrow, use pursuit now!" she ordered. The crow tucked his wings in tightly, diving bombing out of the air in a pursuit attack, shooting straight for the bewildered Gastly. If Sakura was likely to take out Charmander with her next attack, his super effective dark type could easily take out the ghost pokemon, leaving one pokemon a side to square off, which would be better chances for a victory.

The Mukrow flew straight up in the air as he woke up with his black tail in fire. And just as the bird flew out of range, Charmander was ordered to attack Gastly – just as Kira had feared would happen. The embers hit Gastly and since he was so close to the Charmander, the attack inflected a lot of damage on him. The fire-attack pushed him away from the Charmander, made him flying through the air without much control of his own movements. ”Gastly, hang on! Charmander doesn’t have much energy left, you have to make it!” The embers which had caught Gastly were slowly dying out and he’d gained some control over himself. But you could see that he now wasn’t of much more use than the Charmander.
”Gastly, quick, use Lick against Charmander!” Kira shouted, starting to become very tense. She knew Gastly didn’t had much time left, so this was probably one of his last attacks before fainting, especially with the Mukrow suddenly diving from the sky as an arrow. Gastly had noticed the attacking Mukrow as well and tried to dodge the attack by aiming for Charmander, but it was too late. The Mukrow hit him and the attack forced him down to the ground. The attack had been super effective, but not a critical hit which it would have been if Gastly hadn’t moved. But his time in this battle would soon be over. Kira had to find a way to not make this battle too hard for Sakura. Because if Gastly was fainting now without dragging one of their opponents with him, a victory would just be even harder to obtain. ”Gastly, try to get up!” Kira shouted, but her words were of no use. Even thought Gastly tried, he was too exhausted to get up into the air again. He had to make his move from the ground where he lay. Then Kira got an idea. It wasn’t as good as knocking one of their opponents out, but it was almost as good. If it hit.
”Gastly, use Hypnosis on Charmander!” And as his trainer’s order reached Gastly, he reacted. He opened his mouth to let his attack out, the hypnotic waves aiming for tired Charmander to make him fall asleep as the Mukrow had done a few moments ago. But after fulfilling his attack, Gastly was too exhausted to fight anymore and fainted with a sigh. ”Gastly, come back,” Kira said, calling her pokemon back into his pokeball were he could rest until she got him to a Pokecenter. ”You did well Gastly, now take a good rest.” She fastened the pokeball onto her belt and aimed her attention to the other trainer. ”My Gastly might be out now, but don’t think the battle is over yet! Sakura, jump, and use Ember against Mukrow!!” The Ponyta reared and went into a run. With her legs moving faster for every step she took in the circle of people, she suddenly jumped into the air, making the distance between her and the Mukrow smaller. Then, she let out the flames from her mouth, aiming for the Mukrow who had been the biggest reason for her fellow fainting.

i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer Talons outstretched, Mukrow gracefully landed on the ground next to where he'd knocked the Gastly. He folded his wings back onto his back, looking at the Gastly expectantly. Proud and vain, the crow liked to relish sadistically in his victories, beady black eyes watching the energy slow drain from the ghost pokemon with a vicious smile across his beak. With a ghostly elegant hop to the left, he easily avoided the ghost's last ditch attempt at an attack. The hypnotic rays shot clear past Mukrow, leaving him unaffected.
Charmander was growing more and more tired, the effort to stay on his feet was phenomenal. He was too tired and too slow to dodge the attacks. The hypnotic rays moved through the air, gently passing over him, willing him to sleep. He could feel his eyes growing heavy, wanting to close and his body willed him to lie down and sleep. With no energy left, he couldn't fight the attack. His eyes snapped shut into sleep and his orange body fell to the ground, curled up in a deep sleep. Part of being a good trainer was to know when to quit. Of course part of being a good trainer was to never give up but there was a fine line. Charmander was already significantly weakened, and asleep. If she could get him to wake up, maybe she could squeeze one more attack out of him, but leaving him in the field could cause him further, unnecessary damage. Scara watched as Kira had returned her Gastly after a terrific battle. The Gastly had to be commended for its efforts and deserved the rest. She pulled the pokeball from her robe pockets, directing it at charmander. The beam of red light engulfed him, pulling him back into the pokeball. "Good job..", she smiled, tucking the ball safely away. "Looks like it's just one on one now", the woman shouted to Kira with an enthusiastic smile.
Mukrow had taken back off into the air, circling around, gliding on the gentle breeze. His eyes were solely fixed on Ponyta. "Keep it tight, Mukrow, use peck!" she ordered. Mukrow turned sharply to intercept the rearing Ponyta. As Sakura shot her embers at him, the crow pulled his wings in tight, his body twirling in a dive bomb to earth. He shot through the embers. The flames singed the tips of his wings and toes, causing minor burns, but the speed he fell prevented him taking major damage. Just as it seemed he was going to collided with the horse, his wings shot out, causing him to pull up, just over her head. He thrust his sharp beak down, aiming to peck at her forehead before sailing off over her back, just above the flames that lined her nape. He was thankful she wasn't a Rapidash yet, or he would have collided with her horn.

Luckily, the Charmander was hit by Gastly’s hypnosis and the other trainer returned her sleeping pokemon who was as well as unable to battle anyway. But even though this now was a one and one, Kira still didn’t want to lose. She still had Sakura, and she trusted her starterpokemon.
But then the Mukrow made another dive to use Peck on Sakura. The black bird collided with the embers from Sakura’s mouth and his speed made the damage from Sakura’s attack less harmful to him. Still aiming for Sakura, the Mukrow spread his wings out to prevent a collision with the Ponyta’s head. Instead, he hit her with his sharp beak in a Peck-attack, and still being in mid-air, Sakura couldn’t do much to dodge the attack from the angry bird. ”Sakura, try to aim Ember at the Mukrow!” Kira shouted as the Mukrow was sailing on the wind above Sakura’s head. The Ponyta tried to turn her head and aim another attack at the bird, but if the embers even hit him, it wouldn’t do much damage since it was hard for her to turn her head enough to make a critical hit on the irritating bird.
The Ponyta landed on the street with a slightly tremble in her four legs. She breathed heavily a few times, but Kira wasn’t sure whether the heavy breaths came mostly of exhaustion or irritation. She hoped it wasn’t the former, because Mukrow was still able to fight. But the glow in Sakura’s eyes told her that the firepokemon still was more than ready to fight the bird which was becoming more and more unpopular in the Ponyta’s black eyes. This was definitely an opponent both Sakura and Kira would remember in the future, and if they should meet again, Kira would make sure to give them an even harder battle. But for now, she needed to change her strategy a bit. Sakura would be too vulnerable while being in the air since she couldn’t change direction as well as the flying Mukrow. After all, Sakura had no wings. She would have to fight him from the ground, or from above if possible.
”Sakura, don’t let your guard down, keep your eyes on the Mukrow,” Kira said calmly. The white horse nodded, standing still, waiting for an order from her trainer. Even though they hadn’t known each other in more than maybe some weeks, the bond between them was quickly growing strong. Sakura would obey any order Kira gave her and do it was well as possible, not out of fear, but out of loyalty. After all, they spend as well as all their time together. Sakura scraped in the ground, daring Mukrow to attack her as well as she’d done it earlier toward the Charmander. Kira waited, and so did Sakura. And even though Sakura was more eager to fight than wait – and didn’t know what her trainer had in mind – she waited. Waited for the Mukrow to attack, daring him to attack her with the determined expression on her face.

i wanna get drunk i'm gonna make it real clear; i want one bourbon, one scotch and one beer ooc. Sorry it's short. Bit stumped for idea. I'll faint him next post.
Mukrow moved with ease in the air. He didn't even have to look back. With a flap of his wings, he pushed the air currents beneath him, raising easily with the invisible air thermals. The flames from the ember shot underneath him, dissipating as he glided over the top, the warms tickling his belly. With a sharp turn, he flew around to face the Ponyta once again. His wings flapped gently, hovering him in place. The beast taunted him, snorting and scraping at the ground with her hooves. His eyes glanced quickly to his trainer, looking for confirmation.
The red head nodded. "Go on Murkow, let's end this.." she smiled wildly, ordering her crow to attack. It was clear that the battle was drawing to a close, both Mukrow and the Ponyta were getting tired and quickly running out of options and she didn't see it going on much longer than another turn or two. The choice of moves was limited. Peck, again but using that would be merely chipping away at the Ponyta and would take too long. Pursuit again, or Astonish. Settling with the ghost type attack, he thrust his body forward with a single large flap, aiming directly for the Ponyta's face. Pulling his wings in, he held them tight to his body, plummeting through the air towards his target. Beak wide open, he let out a deafening, ear piercing screech as he flew directly towards the Ponyta, his intention not to stop an collide with her head.
wc.251 murkow. no levels gained. flying directly at Ponyta, using Astonish.
