These pokemon won't be showing up a lot out in the wild, but of course will upon occasion. More importantly, if your a trainer who's starting out with pokemon, you're allowed to have two of these.
These pokemon are currently banned from being given away in contests, or claimed in prizes in them or games, or anything else. They may still appear in the wild, BUT ONLY WHERE THEY ARE LISTED. This includes their evolutions.
Legendaries are off limits, from any game, for now. They may be given away in contests and such. For those of you who are unsure about who is legendary and who is not, thanks to Amber here you go:
