((O.o Jackson? Did you name Growlithe? XD))
Akhor really didn't know how to explain how he felt or if he felt anything. He was worried that he might, and as such refused to take a moment to think about Ash and how he felt about her, or didn't feel. Relationships got in the way of things. He held a very important position, and as such had a very important job and responsibility. He couldn't get distracted. He'd seen where that lead: to getting in trouble with the Emperor because he'd allowed Ash space and freedom, instead of insuring that she was locked up in her room, or guarded.
The male assumed she was referring to him forcing her to battle. He sighed quietly once more, lifting his shoulders in a large heave, "I don't know what to tell you Ash." He replied, "Other than you should probably get your arm and what not looked at. It looked like that Makuhita hit you pretty hard." He paused, before adding, "I can't help you with your other problems." He just wasn't any good at it.

(( Hahahaha noooo Cid's son which i shall have turn up at some point to annoy Akhor, probably when Ashie and him are on better terms )) Ash on the other hand would love to have more relationships, but she'd lost everyone that cared about her. She had more family out there, but nobody could replace her mother and father, and definately not her brother. All of them had been so close, and she missed them so much. She'd never spent barely a day apart from them, so this was all new to her and Cid had enjpyed reminding her of what she was missing out on. He'd pretty much made her feel everything that she'd forced herself to stop feeling and she hated him for it, but some of things he said really hit her. Perhaps if she was feeling a bit better the female might have taken note that Akhor seemed to be trying to help, in his own way. At least he wasn't insulting her or anything, but right now she was just a complete mess. "Not hard enough." She murmured, obviously wishing the pokemon had hurt her a little bit more, as she felt she deserved. Her rins actually felt broken but she was too upset to notice.

((Oo, i forgot about him! Lol))
Akhor really was trying to help, although it was an extremely sad attempt. The fact that he'd come at all said that he was making an effort. He didn't come running to anyone's aid after all. In fact, Ash was pretty much the only person he would do that for a the moment, or really ever had done it for. So it was actually saying something that the male was there right now.
Akhor raised an eyebrow at Ash's words, but chose not to comment on them, "Come on. We should go." He just wanted to get her out of the forest and back to the base. His eyes flickered over momentarily to the MIghtyena, before he stepped forward, offering her his hand. Jolteon moved in unison at his side.

(( lol so had i, but i was watching a soap called emmerdale, and theres a character called jackson in it lol ))
Ash didn't really know how significant it was that Akhor was there or trying to help her. She just assumed that he was always hiding this nice side of him, and that he would be this nice to anyone if they needed it. Ofcourse she wasn't feeling all that grateful for it at the moment.
The female looked up as the male offered his hand and she hesitated a moment before reaching up and taking it. She still wasn't happy with him, but she did want to get out of that forest and back somewhere warm. She wanted to get some sleep to. She held Eevee close as she rose, but was completely spooked when Mightyena barked angrily, as if a warning to Akhor to not touch her or something, and immediately huddled against Akhor's chest. She was feeling a little jumpy.
Growlithe felt a little brave and slipped out between Akhor's legs and growled at Mightyena, who lowered his head towards the smaller pokemon, his hair standing on end as he snarled and Growlithe whimpered.

((XD!! Nice lol))
Akhor himself didn't even realize the significance of the fact that he was there. He didn't realize that he wouldn't do this for someone else typically, and that he was going out of his way for another person, something he never did. He was selfish to an extent. He didn't purposefully put himself in front of other people, he just didn't have connections with others, and as such didn't care about them. That automatically put him in front of them.
The male pulled Ash to her feet as she took his hand. His attention went to Mightyena as the pokemon parked, and he felt Ash against his chest and his own arm slip about her waist in a protective fashion. He'd acted without thinking, and for a brief moment even allowed himself to believe that he kind of liked having her there. He quickly denied the thoughts and pulled his arm back, taking a step away from her and turning down the path, "Come on." He said, Jolteon following after him.

Having Akhor's arm about her waist felt weird, but very nice in the female's opinion. Sshe made herself believe that he had to be feeling under the weather because of the way he was currently acting, but she was currently too distressed to put too much thought into it, so she just let things continue as they were. As Akhor let her go and moved down the hill she began to follow after him with Growlithe at her side. She turned back just once to see what Mightyena was up to, but the p0kemon just stood there and watched.
Mightyena was actually debating whether to go with them or not, but instead he turned and disappeared back into the thick forest.

Akhor lead the way back down the path and toward the base. He glanced over his shoulder a couple of times to make sure that Ash was still following him, rather than making some attempt at escaping or something. He lead her back in through the door that he and Jolteon had exited a few moments earlier in order to see what Growlithe was barking about.
He immediately started back down the hall toward his room, intent on getting that paperwork that he'd been busy with before done. He paused however, turning to Ash as he did so, "You should go to the infirmary or something and get your side checked out. Either that, or get some rest."

Ash was in sort of a daze as she followed the male, like a zombie or something. Growlithe, rather than follow by her side was more towards Akhor, as he had a bad feeling about Ash, and what might be happening to her. She was a complete mess and nothing he could do was cheering her up. Grpwlithe had never seen her like this before, and it was rather scary really. She seemed to be tiring herself out with the way she was crying.
As they reached the base, and Akhor paused halfway down a corridor to look at her, Ash turned to glance at him, looking beyond tired. "I just want to sleep." And with that she headed onwards and into her own room. Usually she would ask to stay in Akhor's but he'd never let her before and she didn't see why this would be any different. Growlithe ran after her, and she shut the door once he was inside.

Akhor had dreaded suggesting rest, as he figured the female would either request to stay in his room with him, or just flat out walk in there without a single word. So when she claimed that she wanted to sleep, and instead of doing as he assumed and simply turned and walked back to her room, he was a little surprised. He watched her go, and Growliteh chase after her, until they were out of sight behind the closed door.
Shrugging to himself, he and Jolteon both turned and made their way back to their own room. Upon entering, Jolteon returned to the bed, and Akhor to his desk to finish his work.

The following day, Ash was not in her room, but had gotten up early, showered and dressed, and had left to find Cid. She hated that man so much for what he had done to her and her family, but he offered her a chance to do what sh'ed always wanted to do, and to get stronger so she could attempt revenge against him. She also still believed that she was partly to blame for her family's death, and it was all of this that compelled her to go to him, and begin actually working for him. Although she wasn't the same cheery girl she was before.
Even Growlithe was avoiding her as he sat out in the corridor by their room and whimpered and cried.
Ash was currently looking through a computer and writing down notes for the best breeding couples available to her. Cid was after getting some more Mightyena's, and a couple of Blaziken's to supply to the Order's lab for new recruits, and also for himself.

Akhor found that he'd been left alone by Ash for far longer than he'd thought possible. He'd been in the middle of working on something when he was suddenly overcome by the feeling that something was just... Off. He'd discovered it to be that Ash was no where around. He'd become accustomed to having the female following him around everywhere, and being around him 24/7.
After finishing what he was up to, he set off to find her. Jolteon lead the way, as the pokemon could easily pick up her scent and locate her. Once they had, the two entered. He lingered in the doorway, watching Ash at work on the computer, "What are you doing?" He asked, honestly interested. He couldn't think what she'd possibly be up to.

Ash looked up as she heard Akhor's voice, but barely. It was like she was ignoring him or something. "I'm working." She answered, her tone somewhat harsh. It wasn't anythingl ike her usual sweet and charming voice at all, but she definately sounded off. She wasn't herself. And rather than Growlithe sitting beside her, it was Eevee lying on the desk inftont of her, licking her paws and grooming herself. Ash went nowhere without her trust puppy pokemon, so that in itself wasn't of the norm. This was all very strange.
The female decided to elaborate, though she kept her eyes on the computer screen. "Cid asked me to pair up some pokemon for breeding." She still wasn't looking at the male, and in fact for once she didn't want him ther. She was angry with him all of a sudden.

Akhor's eyes narrowed at Ash's words. Well no duh. He chose to keep that comment to himself, but he was much more interested in what she was working on and why, not the fact that she was working. The male's eyes scanned the computer, then took note of the Eevee sitting next to the female. Growlithe was nowhere in sight, which was extremely odd.
His thoughts were interrupted by the female's elaboration on her words, at which point he turned immediately back to look at her, "Cid?" He repeated, venom in the name as he spoke it, "You're doing something for Cid?" He sounded incredulous, and his expression reflected the tone, "Why?" He exaggerated the word, stressing it in a clear representation of the fact that he didn't understand what in the world had possessed her to do such a thing.

Ash still hated Cid with everything she had, but she really saw this as the only way to get her revenge against him, and to spend time doing what she wanted the best - caring for pokemon and nursing their eggs. She didn't even have to spend time with her Uncle, just with his pokemon which he was allowing her to breed. Mightyena she was okay with, but she was pretty sure that other than Blaziken the other ones didn't like her all that much, but that was fine because she was sure they wouldn't hurt her. Maybe.
"I'm not just doing it for him." The female snapped, "Not that you'd understand. Other people's feelings apparently mean nothing to you." She saw Akhor as a cold, heartless being. He was just as bad as her uncle in her opinion, and he was still on the 'bad' side of things. Either way it was clear that something had changed in the female. She would never have woreked for Cid before, despite what he might offer her.

There was definitely something wrong with Ash. Her personality was nothing like what she'd been since he'd found her. In fact, it was the complete and utter opposite, and while she was normally inseparable from Growlithe, the pokemon was currently nowhere to be seen, and she didn't appear to care.
Akhor stared in slight surprise at the female as she spoke. He didn't miss the fact that she was obviously angry with him, but he didn't understand why or what he'd done. He was pretty sure he hadn't suddenly changed the way he'd been acting toward her and done something unspeakably horrible. Unless she was seriously still angry about him making her battle.
The male was at a loss for words for a moment, and he simply stared at the female. Finally, he gathered himself and responded, "I wouldn't think anything I did would change the fact that Cid killed your family, and yet here you are working for him."
