• ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN •
Hair: Marion has exceptionally long hair, reaching practically down to her feet. The hair colour is a mix of light greys and purples, cut in a style giving her a small fringe and it is often held back, tied with a large dark purple bow.
Eyes: Marion's eyes are quite small and lemon shaped, with a mix of dull blues and grey in colour. Her eyes often appear quite sad and like she could burst into tears easily.
Scars/Markings: Marion has a number of scars on her body. They are mainly focussed on her left leg where she had to receive surgery as a teenager.
General Appearance: Marion is a slim woman, standing at around 5'10 in height, weighing in at approximately 50kg. Despite looking capable, Marion is physically weak on account of a serious injury and subsequent infections she endured as a teenage. It leaves her incapable of lifting heavy objects and she struggles to walk . Though capable of walking, her gait is uneven as she has a limp on her left and tires easily which results in her being carried by her pokemon.
Clothing wise, she wears a plain white blouse over the top of a purple dress. This is accompanied by a pair of purple stockings and a pair of simple, small heeled, navy shoes. She also carries a long whip with her at all times. With the inability to pick things up and carry things, she uses the whip to coil round and lift up small things herself or to direct her pokemon to fetch things for her.

Personality: Marion does her best to have a positive out look. She prides herself on her determination and unwillingness to give up which helped her to achieve where she is today in the face of adversary. She's friendly and encouraging, doing her best to help others and find ways to help them help themselves. She doesn't like to quit and will keep going to the very end.
Despite her best efforts, Marion can often be down in the dumps, dwelling on the misery of her injury which cost her what she loved the most. She can find it hard to concentrate and is often angry at the person who hurt her. She hates to ask for her and can often find it offensive when people offer to do things for her; even though she knows they are only trying to help.

• HOW I BECAME WHO I AM •

History: Marion was the first and only child of Hans Weinberg and Maria Van Der Bolt. Her conception was one of a drunken night, but her mother and father decided to stay together - though never getting married - for the sake of their baby. Maria's family, the Van Der Bolts, owned a famous ranch and racecourse, breeding pokemon for speed and racing. The family lived in the ranch together and Marion was brought up with the pokemon, learning to care of them and train them for riding and racing. During her childhood, she helped work on the ranch and even persuaded her parents to teach her to ride.
For her seventh birthday, her parents decided she was old enough to own her first pokemon and bought her a shiny ponyta. Marion squeeled in delight and wasted no time in taking her new horse out to the track to race. In the following years, Marion shot up in the world of pokemon racing, becoming a prolific rider, winning many races and championships. She was in her prime, the possibilities for her future seemed endless until the accident. Marion and her now Rapidash, were entered in a prestigious pokemon race. The unicorn pokemon thundered down the track, easily over-taking most of the competition, which included a hot head young trainer on his dodrio - who unfortunately didn't take too kindly to losing. He ordered the dodrio to attack, who processed to drill peck the legs of Marion's rapidash. The pair fell to the ground in a cloud of dust. The pokemon managed to roll up reasonably unscatched by the attack but Marion wasn't so lucky. Her rapidash landed ontop of her, shattering her left femur, fibula and tibia in several places. She was rushed to hospital and thankfully re-constructive surgeons managed to rebuilt the bones in her leg. She would live but she would never race again.
Never being able to ride again, Marion was forced to do something else with her life. Struggling to walk and do anything after her surgery and subsequent infections resulting from her injuries, she acquired a new team of pokemon to help her. The new pokemon who she gained to help her with daily life soon quickly evolved into a powerful team of muscle, capable of storming the battle battlefield. Leaving her Rapidash at her parents ranch, she couldnt bring herself to trade her Rapidash though she would never be able to ride her again, she travelled with a new team of pokemon across the leagues, easily defeating the gym leaders.
It was then that Marion and her formidable team of carers were approached the the official league representatives, offering her a place in the Star Region's Elite Four. Despite having to be carried by one of her pokemon at all times, her will and determination was almost unbreakable and the skills she earned in such a short period of time after a tragic accident was rewarded by her acceptance into the Elite Four.
