Ash was a little different to most of the Order members. She hadn't chosen to join them. In fact she was very much against their ordeals and everything they stood for, and like her father she was more of a rebel against them. However, her Uncle Cid, or otherwise known as Lord Malaise, had 'taken care' of her family. Ashah had barely survived the massacre of her family, when their house crashed down on them. She'd been found by Lord Phalanx who brought her back to the ship. So really her joining them had been an accident. If truth be told she really hated being here.
The twenty year old hated her Uncle, and what he did to her and her family, but now she was forced to serve under him, and she did so. The only good thing about her working for the Order however was that she got to live out her life long dream of being a breeder. She still didn't like that she was made to work for the Emperor - the only time they'd met had not been a nice experience for the female, as her beloved Growlithe had been threatened with death, and she had been scared out of her wits. She was supposedly related to this Emperor, but she had no idea how, and she really could care less. She almost hated him as much as she hated Cid.
Currently the female was doing her job such as checking on the eggs, and the breeding pokemon, checking through her computer, and taking notes. And a shower. By the time she was done she had a feeling that something was on it's way to her and usually her paranoid instincts were right, but she could care less. Since Cid messed with her head she had gained a bad attitude towards people in general, so if someone wanted to see her it didn't matter. She'd tell them to buzz off.
The female towel dried her hair, leaving it somewhat damp and wavy, before she dressed in a loose white vest and a pair of black skinny jeans before she simply lay back on her bed and stared up at the ceiling. She had lately bgeen openly defying orders given to her, and basically doing what she wanted. As well as bad mouthing the Emperor. So far she'd managed to avoid him ... But she had a really bad feeling. Still, currently her blind eye was more of a concern for her as it still hadn;t healed and it hurt. She just wanted to lay there and let the pain go away before she got up and did anything.
Espeon and Growlithe stood outside the door, guarding her room.

This was not easy for him. He knew deep down that his action to suggest the death of the beast was because of his nature to destroy all who would trespass unto his domain. Even he was no exception the law. Still, as time passed, he realized he had no understanding of what it was like to really lose family as she did. It conflicted with his inner nature of desiring to teach even if the lesson was cruel.
He did not care what she thought of him, but she had to be brought to terms one way or another... she hated her uncle... with bloody good reason. Her hate needed to be more properly redirected in order for her to be more acceptable. She was an excellent breeder, and he was fortunate that she was at least willing to work in that area.
Arriving at the door, he saw the mongrel.
Something in him stopped as his emotions mixed in his soul. This thing snuck into his ship with that girl... this wretched beast made its way into the halls of the Order. Yet... in the midst of his pride, he knew that it was bred by a member of nobility. Of course it would have the power to do so with that girl.
He didn't bother to have a grandiose entrance. He simply knocked on the side of the door as the gentleman he was raised to be despite being the absolute ruler of the area. His tone was neutral, but the Imperial domineering spirit was something ingrained into his very being.
"Madam Wolfe... I would see you for a moment."

Ashah still very much worried for her canine companion but more than that she was still stuck on that hatred she felt for her uncle and for the Emperor. She'd been told so many things since she'd come to the ship - that she was a nible, she was related to the Emperor. That she should be a good little girl. If Cid hadn't destroyed her family then there would be no need for her to act the way that she did, so she didn't see why everyone was trying to blame her. It wasn't her fault she was here - in fact she had been unconscious by the time she was on the ship. Akhor was to blame really.
But then she could never blame him herself. She liked him too much.
Today was one of those days that the girl felt rather down and depressed. It had been a few weeks now since she awoke outside of her burnt down house, injured, and was told that her family was dead. She never thought anything like that would happen, and certainly did not imagine that she would ever end up in the predictament that she was currently in. She was stuck at the Order and made to work for her uncle and she had no choice but to do it. Ofcourse none of that stopped her from being rude and disrespectful but she had yet to be reprimanded for it ...
A growl outside of her door from Growlithe alerted her that someone was there, and she had a few guesses at who it might be. Growlithe made those sounds at people he didn't like or trust, and the Emperor was certainly one of those people. The knock at the door and the sound of his voice confirmed the female's suspicions and she immediatel rose from the bed, her clothes now somewhat damp from having put them on before she was completely dry but that did not matter to the female as she quickly rushed to the door, pulled it open and took Growlithe into her arms. Had the pokemon been in the room with her then Ash wouldn't have bothered to open the door at all, but the man's threat still loomed over her.
"What do you want?" She snapped, not able to help herself as Espeon calmly slipped past Ash's legs and into the room to safety from the Emperor while Growlithe snarled. Ash hadn't bothered to put her eye patch on, so her damaged eye could be clearly seen - red and sore. There was a thin scar running down across it and into her cheek but this only served to make her appear even more menacing. She truly did not want to see the Emperor right now, especially while she was already in a bad mood.

He had wondered what had happened to her eye... he absent mindedly rubbed his own burned eye which was almost identical to hers... his was from Opus who had shot a jet of steam into it after he was unreasonably bratty to him as a child.
"A bad time, Madam Wolfe? I am willing to return when you are more prepared, though I appreciate your enthusiasm for arriving so swiftly."
He was an ass. He knew he was an ass. His mask was just good enough that he caught himself from smirking. He had heard her mouth had been running about him, but what more could he expect from an uncle unwilling to properly discipline his niece... bah. Cid was so neglectful to his family's upbringing!
Still, she was wet from her shower, and wanted to at least be proper enough to offer the chance to freshen up. Of course, he doubted she would care for that honor, considering she was a chaotic little brat. He would not be budged by her insolence one bit, as he felt that his anger would only 'make her win'.

Her eye was the result of what Cid had done to her house. In the chaos she had been injured in numerous places, including her leg on which she now had a rather large scar. At least it could be hidden however. The female was still not used to being half blind just yet, but there was no way she was going to let anyone at the Order know that. She didn't wish to appear to weak in front of any of them. After all, they were all her enemies. They were here by choice but Ash was not. She couldn't leave, though she desperately wanted to. The only thing was that she had nowhere to go even if she did get away.
The Emperor's words forced a snarl that rivaled Growlithe's to pass her pale lips. "I'm never preapred to see scum like you." She told him relentlessly and with no thought for the consequences. She knew saying things like that might get her in trouble but she just couldn't help herself! She hated the male and everyone connected to him. It was true that the Emperor was not the one who killed her family, but still ... He didn't stop it either. As far as Ash was concerned he was as much to blame as Cid. Besides, nobody had stopped the female being mouthy before, so she didn't see why it would be a problem. It was just instinct.
The female turned and placed Growlithe on the floor, pointoing over to the bed as a clear order for the pokemon to go there to safety, just in case. Growlithe did as he was asked and Ashah turned back to the male, whom she promtly glared at. "So, really, why are you here? I have nothing to say to you. In fact I was having a relatively nice time until you showed up. I guess you just have to ruin every thing, don't you?" The female would continue to talk like this, if only to annoy the Emperor.

Now... he smirked. Ohhh, if she was his citizen, he would have struck her down. She was raised to be an idiot by her family, and she was making a very good example of why his country had to come out ahead and conquer. Her foolishness acted as a prompt to others. Were she not successful in The Order, it would show why a girl like her would never make it in life.
"Perhaps I should have killed you... then you would never have to be so angry at anyone again. Still, you are a prime example to everyone else as to why I have to conquer the region... so please continue to be insolent. You will only take more lives from the disgust that others have of you."
He closed his good eye as he rummaged through his pocket.
"But I digress... I must thank you for taking care of the Imperial Pokemon. Sir Vigilance has served my family for three generations and I am happy that he can sire an heir to his legacy. I wanted to see with my own eyes what skill you had as a breeder, and I had heard you had a Growlithe egg for purchase."
Taking out the money from his coat pocket, his smirk faded. Perhaps... he was feeling slightly regretful. Yes, he was about to apologize... good Arceus! He prayed nobody would be seeing this.
"Consider it my penance for my rash judgment. I had not put into consideration your state of mind when you had entered... as Emperor, I am supposed to kill intruders on the spot. If I did not punish my own, then I would be seen as above the law. That is something I can not negotiate. You may thank Lord Phalanx for his quick words of council."

Even if the Emperor decided to strike her, or harm her in some other way the female would likely continue to act the same. Ever since her family had died, and especially after being made to serve under Cid she had gained an even fierce hatred than ever before. She was angry at everyone and everything. Even Growlithe avoided her at times because he was frightened of her ... Ash didn't mean to scare him, or any one really, but her emotions were running wild with her and around the Emperor and Cid they got out of control. She would not stop until she was made to.
The male's words silenced Ash for just a moment as she watched him, wondering if the Emperor would change his mind and decide to kill her afterall. There was just something about the male that worried her, and scared her ... Obviously that was not enough however as she still couldn't keep her mouth shut no matter what the danger was. When he went on to basically say to everyone found her disgusting, or atleast as she saw it, her eyes narrowed and another growl left her lips. "Oh yeah, that's right, just blame me for you wanting to have people killed." She spat, "If you really want me dead then maybe you should just do it - it's not like it's beyond you or anything, being the bastard that you are."
A part of her wanted to be dead. She was suffering so much, and she was not happy at all. Perhaps it would be best ...
The male's words as he continued surprised the female, but not in a good way. She believed he was trying to trick her, but that was jsut her paranoia kicking in she supposed. Still she wasn't about to trust him, and her mouth did say things all the time without her thinking ... "Don't thank me, it's not like I did it for you. You see, unlike you Sir Vigilance isn't a complete and utter ass. Now, if you were more like him then maybe more people would like you. I can't imagine someone like you having many friends ... Not if you annoy them as much as you annoy me."
She found it insulting that he wanted the Growlithe egg after threatening her own Growlithe, and growled in response, not caring to speak in regards to it. She was going on a tyrade after all. "You shouldn't even have the right to decide who lives and dies. You're just as bad as Cid and one day you're both going to rot in hell and I'll just sit back and laugh."

Insolent brat... his fist shook at his side, but she at least explained why she was feeling the way she was instead of just slinging insults left and right. He took a long, deep breath before continuing to speak.
"I would be a bastard if I enjoyed such things. If my actions damn me to hell, then at least allow me to bring a land of order."
He paused for a moment, thinking to himself. No... slapping her wouldn't be a proper punishment, as she would not learn to respect the concept of not allowing your desires to be fulfilled. He put his money away as he came to a decision in his mind. He folded his hands in front of him and tilted his head.
"Punishment by education, my dear. You will understand why we do what we do and prevent people from doing what they desire most sometimes. I believe it is time that your uncle had a holiday away from his duties."

"You're not fit to rule anything or do anything that constitutes as such." The female spat, clearly aggitated at this point. The more she insulted the male, the angrier she felt herself becoming, but she couldn't help it. She felt like she needed to yell at someone, anyone, just to make herself feel better. What better person to yell at than the man in charge of her Uncle. Honestly Ashah barely shouted at Cid because she was afraid he would kill her, but the Emperor had yet to harm her in any way and until he did she would continue doing this. And probably after as well.
The male's words were somewhat confusing, but somehow managed to anger the female a little more. "Don't call me that." She snapped. If he must adress her then Ash hoped he would do so in the proper way - by her name. Not that she cared to talk to him or anything, but she found 'my dear' to be rather patronising coming from a man like him. Besides, what in the hell was he talking about? Why would Cid need a holiday away from his duties? All the man ever did was hurt people and cause people pain! "What the hell are you talking about? I don't need any education. All I need is for you to get out of my face!"
Back to being 'insolent'.

"Really? ... I rule your uncle."
His presence got dark... as if he was the ruler of the hell she had accused him of going to. His politeness never left him, but his tone got downright terrifying in its cold and ruthless nature. It was not something he enjoyed, but the darker side of his soul was unleashed. He would get obedience out of this one even if it meant the lives of others.
"... But because you do not see the benefit of sacrificing what you desire for the betterment of others, I will relieve him of his duties for three days. He will be able to do anything he desires to whomever he desires outside of the Order... and the Order will be forbidden to stop him."
The necessary evil arose in his calm nature, his eye boring into the soul of the girl before him.
"People like you will appreciate the leash he is on once it is taken off of him, Madam Wolfe... the tragedy that befell you was still while he was under my control. He was never permitted to raze the area around your house... He will not have our protection as he does as he pleases... but if it is any consolation, if he ends up being captured or perishing as a consequence of his actions, he will also learn the value of restraining his inner lust for chaos."
The Emperor knew what powerful trainers lurked in the open... if Lord Malaise was stupid, he could lose his head. This would be a test for him as well to see how well he could rule himself. Claudius despised the idea, but he hoped that the terror of the thought would at least get the insolent brat to back down. His stance was stern, his glare... evil. Absolutely the truest form of Law corrupted.

Well that was true ... The Emperor ruled Cid.
Ruling Cid was no laughing matter either. Ashah's uncle was crazy in the sense that he hurt because he liked doing it and watching people suffer. He never had to have a reason for doing it, and nobody knew why he'd turned out like that. He used to be nice. Now however Ash was his favourite relative and just look how he treated her. People he hated ... Well, there isn't much to say on the matter other than that they were in for a rough time. Cid only liked himself, and everyone else could go to hell really.
The Emperor looked evil now and it frightened Ash, but she was still being her stubborn self, which meant glaring right back as she listened to what he had to say. She could have sworn her heart stop when the man said he'd let Cid do whatever he wanted and no-one would stop him. That only meant one thing - that at best people would be seriously injured and humiliated. At worst... They would die. Cid lived to see people suffer and it made him happier to be the one causing the pain, so he'd love this. On the other hand ...
"You can't do that!" The female screamed, resisting the urge to punch the Emperor. With her fist clenched tightly she was ready to still do it however, at any given moment. "We both know what he's like! He'll ... He'll hurt people and they have nothing to do with me or anything i've done wrong. Giving him permission to do as he likes ... You are one sick bastard." That was just the way that Ash reacted to these things. Not only that but she wouldn't be able to live with herself if anyone got hurt because of her.

His gaze remained calm as he nonchalantly brought up her 'previous points'. If hell was made out of ice, it would have been frozen with his heart.
"But I am 'unfit to rule anything... or do anything that constitutes as such'... I have no reason to continue executing authority over him. Surely an unworthy ruler such as I would be a worse fate to the world. People must have the freedom to do as they please. I thought that was something you held close to you. Surely if you can do as you please, so should your uncle. It is only fair."
He tilted his head upward slightly his voice getting quiet, but much more intense in its placid dictatorship. A part of him was pleading with her to not let her go through with her insolence and just accept her lot in life.
"Or do you see my point... and are you willing to sacrifice what you like do to for the sake of others? I swear... little girl... that if you continue to be selfish I will allow your uncle to be the same until you understand that the world doesn't revolve around you either."

Now the emperor was turning her words against her and it was so frustrating ... Ash couldn't take it! She'd been angry before but nothing compared to this. She'd been reminded of her dead family, threatened, Cid was going to be let loose ... And the Emperor was just frustrating. Everything he said and did made the female boil with rage and the urge to strike him was strong. Her mind told her not to do it because he wouldn't take it lightly, but her heart was rearing to go. Her fist was even starting to bleed from how hard she was clenching it.
"That's not what I meant!" She snapped, clearly aggitated. The girl's entire body was beginning to shake at this point as she was on the verge of losing it completely. Yes she enjoyed freedom and believed that everyone should have it, but letting Cid do as he pleased was not freedom. It was pretty much mass murder! The guy was insane and he didn't care who he hurt. Heck he let his child run about and do as he liked and didn't watch over him! The boy could have died a hundred times over by now but he was lucky ... Letting Cid out there without this leash would be a mistake.
The Emperor's last words were the last straw. Ash couldn't take it any more. She was so angry she couldn't speak. Instead she let instainct take over as with a snarl ripping through her throat she aimed to hit the Emperor square in the face.

((We agreed on this scenario, so it's not metagaming. Noob readers, don't try this at home))
As instinct took her over, so did martial instinct of many years of training take over. She connected enough to hit the lower jaw, but he was a hardened soldier... and she caused him to react as such. His much longer arms aimed for a kill spot on her head, the nose. Thrusting his palm forward and upward, her nose bone could have gone straight to her brain.
He barely stepped back from her punch, but there was enough of a bruise to prove that he had been defending himself. He closed his eye and turned away from the fallen girl, two guards finally arriving around the corner.
"My liege? We heard yelling!"
"She struck me..."
The two guards looked at one another, wondering what his verdict would be.
"Take her to the infirmary. The dead do not learn respect."
The two Imperial guard saluted and dragged Ashe's unconscious form back to the infirmary. Now it wasn't just her fist that was bleeding. Claudius looked at her blood on his hand
"They will learn the necessity of law. They must for their own survival. If I can not show this one, then I can show none of them, and it will breed excuse for their destruction..."
So it was to be done. Cid also needed to be tested for his loyalty. He received his orders... or lack thereof. He was to have a holiday for three days to do as he pleased. The Order would not stop him, but the Order would not protect him. Any enemies he made down there as a result of his actions would be his own. At this point, the Emperor didn't care if it breached on his previous mission. That was the second insolent woman he had met down there. He needed to know if the people could truly fend for himself.
... Though to Akhor and the others, he cautioned that if he did not return at three days, action could be taken against him for disobeying orders. This was also a test for Cid of his loyalty and how serious he was to The Order. If the man could not rule his inner desires, he had no reason to remain a Lord of others.
It was the worst three days of his life, knowing that he could not be out there. He forced himself to monitor the carnage himself, as a reminder of how lives were in the balance of his rule. To let himself go in any shape or form would cause more destruction.
((Ash can wake up during or after. Up to you))

The moment the Emperor's hand connected with her face, Ash was unconscious. She hit the floor like a sack of potatoes and rolled slightly onto her side, her face covered in blood and her nose clearly broken. Growlithe immediately sprinted to her side and whimpered, trying to get her attenion but she was out cold and unresponsive and no matter how hard the pokemon tried he could not wkae her. Espeon on the other hand waltzed over quite calmly and looked up at the Emperor in what was quite clearly a glare, although other than that the pokemon did nothing, and simply followed behind as the guards dragged Ashah away.
-----------------------------------------------------
On the third day of Cid's 'holiday' Ash finally awoke. She had found herself dressed in one of those very unflattering hospital gowns and she was hooked up to a machine monitoring her heart and one with IV fluids. Had the bone moved any further then it would have pierced her brain. She was lucky, really, except that on upon waking she had heard stories of her uncle's exploits. Of the people he had hurt and robbed from. In the very least he heeded orders and returned in the after noon as he was instructed to do so.
But Ash didn't feel any better about it.
For the last couple of hours the girl had been in a mess - in pain because of her broken nose and the damage it had done as her eyes were constantly watering and nobody would give her painkillers. Everytime she heard Cid's name and what he had been doing she couldn't help but blame herself. It was her fault afterall. And so with that in mind she was on the verge of a breakdown, tears streaming from her eyes. The girl wouldn't let anyone near her either and eventually rose from the bed and made her way out of the infirmary, uncaring as to the fact she was still wearing that gown ...
Ashah didn't care though. She needed to get away. To stop feeling as bad as she did. So with a face bruised and pale, the distraught female made her way back to her room. She didn't even seem to register the fact that somoene was probably alerting the Emperor to the fact that she had woken up.
