Emile walked slightly ahead of the other two as he walked with them up the long hallway towards his room. He strode with purpose but it was relaxed. He pushed open the far door, smiling as he held it open for them to pass through before shutting it.
"I believe I owe you an apology, Miss. I understand how one can have a strong opinion on things and I did not mean to appear threatening." He shook his head slightly "I simply also have strong opinions on things."
He smiled, pulling out a pair of chairs from the corner before he sat on his bed slightly - a simple double bed, nothing fancy. He'd stripped most of the furnishings from the previous emperor; it was now only sparsely decorated. A PC sat in the corner, and a simple mirror across from it.
"Now." He ran a hand through his hair "I can imagine neither of you are used to your leader being so... human." He rolled his hand, smiling "But... If you would both be willing, I wish to tell you a small story. All true, but it may help you understand me better."

Ashah had no idea why she was going along with this. All she wanted to do was to return to her room and continue her work, away from the other order members. She wasn't a part of them, like everyone else. For a start she had been forced to stay with them, or suffer death, and secondly she hated being near Cid and not able to kill him, or cause him the same suffering that he had caused her. Not only that, but she didn't much like the new Emperor. There was just something she didn't quite trust ...
She had to be dragged by the arm by Cid, who believed that she'd run off if he let her go.
Despite her struggling the petite female was not able to get free from her much larger and stronger Uncle, so instead took to glaring ahead at Emile. "My name is Ashah-Raine, if you please." Being called 'miss' all the time just sounded so weird to her, considering that since her stay with the order, nobody had showed her any repsect. She was the 'outsider' - the breeder that had no real place with anyone else. She was infact a victim of the order's regime - so her being here was out of place, and she had no friends. She'd just rather be called after her name.
"I don't see why this is so important to you. I'm not going to change my mind about you. The simple fact that you lead The Order is evidence enough for me that you're evil to the core." Ashah was very stubborn, and it took a lot to change her mind about something.
Cid only released her arm when they were inside Emile's room, and once they were he stood against the door as if to prevent any escape attempt she might have. He wanted to listen to the new Emperor's story, but he wanted his neice to listen as well. "I'll listen. Good luck getting her to - she's a stubborn little thing. So stubbron infact that she refuses to die." It was well known within the Order that Cid had murdered her family (also his own) and that he'd tried to kill her along with them, but somehow she had survived, It was frustrating to Cid.

Emile gave a soft laugh, shaking his head.
"The fact I lead the Order to save my daughter and make a brighter future for everyone is evil? No, Team Rocket in Kanto where evil. I do not plan to drive us down the same route."
He took a deep breath, nodding in thanks to the boy before smiling.
"You have an odd sense of humor, my friend, but it is refreshing - if a little morbid." He chuckled, before he took a breath.
"About ten years ago I'd just cleared Kanto's gyms but I was defeated at the champion - yet I did enough to be noticed. Not a lot, but I was approached by several organizations and groups, not all of them exactly... good." He chuckled thinly.
"I don't know If you know this, but a lot of battles you witness - the recorded ones, the regular ones by many trainers across all regions are toned down. The Pokemon themselves are bred among many lines to be reduced in terms of what they can actually do. Those just starting out on their journey have no idea of what Pokemon can actually do. Their powers have reduced effectiveness on their own kind as a whole."
He paused
"And indeed, it IS safer that way. When your Pokemon are wounded, they do not die, they faint. But... there are places where such limits do not apply. Naturally it depends on the Pokemon and the bloodline, but are you familiar with a group known as the 'Real Blood'?"
He noticed the rather blank expressions and carried on, smiling.
"Put simply, this was the real deal. Pokemon could die. The bloodlines such Pokemon are bred from are pure, their powers aren't trained by use for trainers. This was kill or be killed, all underground and illegal."
"I got roped in for many years, in secret. It is from here i purchased Brutus and Titan as eggs - they are killing machines by nature, bred for this. Normal Nidoking for sanctioned battles must be toned down, because their are immensely strong. But these two aren't. They have no boundaries but the ones I enforce on them. It is why they kill so easily - it is natural for them."
"Do not get me wrong, I find the exploitation wrong but... this was real battling. Now, at the time the pair where just Nidorina, but they killed everything between them. I was rich and pretty much being challenged by stronger and stronger opponents - the next match was against an Arcanine - a champion of the sport in himself. I knew i had no way of beating him with the brothers as Nidorina... so I evolved them, got them riled up and set them loose on the champion Arcanine."
He took a breath and glanced away for a moment
"The Arcanine was fast and powerful - the trainer battles don't give you a hint on what a purebred can do. It had Brutus by the throat trying to puncture through his armor with fangs. Titan flew into a rage, ripped the arcanine off and the pair of them literally tore it to peices. It fought back, and Brutus was hurt but it had no chance. Problem was, they'd gone too far. They needed to kill, and... they broke out and slaughtered eight innocent people who did nothing wrong."
"The coverup was big but..." He sighed "I swore never to do it again, and i've had to attempt to tone the brothers down. It worked, but... they're still very much purebred and aggressive."

Touche. Ashah, believe it or not, did understand Emile's plight. She would have done anything to save her family afterall, even commit murder. And if given the chance the girl would kill her Uncle where he Cid, if not to get revenge than to protect Cid's only son. Nobody deserved to have to suffer under that madman for any amount of time and the more time Ashah spent with him, the more she felt herself being driven completely insane. The point was, that Ashah knew what it was like to want to protect someone you love ... But what she didn't understand was wanting to lead a group of cut-throats such as The Order. Perhaps Emile himself was not evil as such, but people within the Order certainly were. Ashah bit her lip, watching the male carefully as he began to speak, and Cid watched on with amusement, and curiosity. The female still didn't want to be here, and she didn't know why the Emperor seemed to care so much about getting her to understand his situation, but she knew she had no choice but to listen. That, ofcourse, didn't mean that she had to like the guy, or even believe or trust anything he had to say, but if it would get him to leave her alone, then she would listen. "Perhaps you are not as evil as Team Rocket, but there is certainly something sinister about those death threats you pretty much made back in that meeting ..." Saying you'd kill someone who crossed you, was a threat, no matter how you looked at it, and what made it worse was having someone killed infront of you. Some of the members of the Order did not take things like that lightly, and others were very loyal to the previous leader. Emile was going to have to work harder, and try harder if he wanted people to like him and believe that he was as 'human' as he made himself out to be. Nevertheless the female listened, her expression plain. She could honestly care less what Emile wanted to tell her - no matter his reasons, she was not going to like, nor trust, the man. It was going to take a lot for someone in his position to gain her trust, considering she didn't even want to be there. Cid would never let her leave now though, not without killing her first ofcourse. Then there was the matter of Akhor ... He made her so mad! Atleast she still somewhat liekd him, but the same could not be said for Emile. The female honestly had no idea what Emile was talking about, and while it was somewhat interesting, she didn't feel like being very cooperative. "I don't see what any of that has to do with me, or why I should care. Any chance I could leave now? I have a few pokemon I need to give baths to ..." Now she was just purposefully being rude. In a way the girl was trying to push Emile into acting - she wanted to know if he was telling the truth when he said things like he wasn't violent, and that he was merciful and whatever he was trying to tell The Order back when, at the same time, his pokemon were mauling that poor man. Cid reached forward and pushed her shoulder quite roughly while Mightyena growled, and in repsonse Espeon turned and hissed at the bigger canine-pokemon. "She's a stupid girl. You'd be better off getting rid of her. I on the other hand find your story to be quite compelling. I think I like your Nidoking already." Cid was a violent man afterall, and violence was like a drug to him. Ashah growled in repsonse to Cid's little shove, and then turned her attention back to Emile. "Honestly, you're trying to get me to understand something, but telling me that your pokemon murdered all those innocent people isn't helping your case much."(( Just one thing -- Could you please not assume what my characters are doing -- ''He noticed the rather blank expressions and carried on, smiling." -- Otherwise I like the post ))
