With only three pokemon with her, Kira had plenty of space to one more pokemon. Especially since she wasn’t sure whether she wanted to keep her Oddish on her team or not. She’d heard about an Adoption Center and chosen to check it out. Maybe she could find a good pokemon there. She knew that every pokemon there had a prize but she’d money enough so that shouldn’t be any problem. Sakura was in her pokeball. That was probably best for now since she was going into the Center where there hopefully would be a lot of pokemon.
As she came into the Center she saw five pokemon. It was too bad that these poor things had been abandoned by their trainers. Who could do such kind of thing? But then it was good that there was a place they could stay and be safe. Kira didn’t know any of the pokemon so she held her red pokedex in front of each of them in turn. Three of them were bug-pokemon. One of them water and the last was physic. ”Aww, you’re such a cutie,” Kira said and went closer to the physic pokemon. It was a female, and she was constantly bouncing from the ground on her tail which worked like a spring. She flapped her small arms up and down like she wanted to use them as wings. It looked like a gesture of excitement and Kira giggled. It should be this one, she was sure of it.
”Wait here for a second, I’ll be back for you,” she said and went to the front disk. ”How much do I need to pay for the Spoink over…” she’d turned around while speaking to the owner of the Center so she could point on the little pokemon, but it was gone. Then, the little pokemon bounced up on her tail just in front of Kira’s face, something like a giggle coming from its tiny mouth. ”Oh, there you are!” Kira exclaimed of surprise. The little pokemon kept on bouncing from the ground, looking like she was never getting tired. ”I would like the Spoink, please,” she said, turning to Zay again.

The adoption centre was finally getting the injection of trainers it needed and many pokemon were finding new homes which made him happy. He looked up from his desk, smiling to the young girl as she came into to look through the pokemon. While waiting, he return to his paperwork. Hearing her speak, he looked up to her standing at the desk, asking for Spoink. "Spoink? She's a cutie. Let me just check for you.." he smiled, flicking through his papers. "Ah, here we go! Spoink's $500, is that okay for you?" Zay explained. The prices here were reasonable. There had to be some sort of income to keep the centre afloat and look after all the pokemon, but sometimes it was steep, especially for new trainers. |

500 pokedollars? That was a relief. Kira had money enough for buying the Spoink and plus that, she still had money enough to buy more things when she needed them. "Here you are, thanks for your help," she said, handing over the dollars to the owner. Now the Spoink was hers, and she needed a name. She didn't had a name in mind just yet, but she would find out soon enough. Gastly would probably like to have a name too now she thought about it.
"Okay little one, into the pokeball with you," she said, throwing a pokeball gently on the Spoink. The pokeball opened and the Spoink disappeared in a flash of red light. Then, the ball came back to her hand and she fastened it on her belt. "Is there anything else I need to do?" she asked the owner.

"Thank you very much" smiled Zay, counting the dollars and placing them in a silver cash tin. "Nope, nothing else, that's everything" he said with a wave as she was getting ready to leave. "Best of luck to you, look after her." |
