The storm over head had begun to grate upon Nekrus's nerves, so much so that he'd actually decided to find the nearest building. He hadn't been expecting to find himself at the Pokemon Adoption Center, though. Motioning to Misdreavus to follow him inside, Nekrus opened the door and entered. Since he was there, he'd at least take a look at the Pokemon there. However, what caught his eye immediately surprised him. There was a Litwick, near the entrance. Nekrus's eyes widened, and then he grinned and headed towards the counter. "HEY! ANYONE HERE?!" he bellowed, and then, while waiting for someone to answer, he turned to watch the Litwick, which had begun to converse with Misdreavus.
This little one seems like it'd fit in with us quite well, Nekrus. And it seems to have taken a likening to me, said Misdreavus. Nekrus grinned, and nodded. They'd take it. Weird, how this storm brought us here? Was it some sort of play by fate, or something else of the sort? Whatever it was, I'm certainly glad we came, said Misdreavus. Giving his agreement, Nekrus spun and waited. And the gloom of the storm once again took over his expression as he did. He hoped that whoever ran the Adoption Center wouldn't be driven away by his expression...
(Short, I know, but I LOVE Litwicks)

Zay was in the back room, tending to the timid Snorunt when he heard someone yell. The little Ice type jumped, scurrying back behind a crate. Zay sighed, walking out from the back room and going to the counter.
"Yes, I'm here. I'm Zay, the propriator of this establishment. Anything catch your eye?"
He noticed the Litwick fluttering around the Misdreavus, and grinned.
"Him? He'll be five hundred Poké, if you want him."
He nodded to the Litwick, who seemed happy around Misdreavus.

"Yes, I definitely want him. Not only has my Pokemon taken a likening to him, but I have as well. I've always loved Ghost Types, and the fact that a storm brought me here, makes me believe that this happened because I'm supposed to have that Pokemon on my Team. I've got the money, so, here you go," replied Nekrus, speaking to the man named Zay. As he spoke, he reached into a small pouch on his belt and withdrew five hundred Poke, handing it to the proprietor. Then he spun to the Litwick, grinning. "You, little guy, will be joining me from now on." As he spoke, he brought out one of his spare Pokeballs and tapped it on the Pokemon's head. Excited, it allowed itself to be drawn in, and after the Pokeball rocked for a few moments, it glowed red, signifying a successful capture. Or, in this case, transfer from the Adoption Center to a Trainer. Grinning, he stood and spun back around to face the proprietor.
Thank you for your help, proprietor Zay, and I apologize for my Trainer's silent and gloomy personality," Misdreavus whispered into Zay's mind. Nekrus grinned, unsure what the man's reaction to that would be, and then nodded at Zay. "As my Pokemon said, thank you. I shall be on my way now... well, er, I'll hang around until the weather's gotten better under cover outside, and then I'll leave. So, goodbye," laughed Nekrus. Then he spun and headed towards the day. It had been a quick, abrupt exchange, but it hadn't ended well, in the Trainer's opinion. His success as a Trainer now seemingly assured, kind of, he headed out into the rain and darted for the nearest cover he could find, Misdreavus trailing behind him.
