It had been a long time coming, all of this waiting and wondering when and if he was ever going to begin his journey. But he had, and there when was, standing on the outskirts of the city. So odd, this sensation. It was as if...if he took the next step, he'd either shatter into a million pieces, wake up from his dream, or never be able to turn back. He almost didn't want it to be real, it was so fantastic, so impossible. But he took that step into the city, those acres and acres of shining buildings and hard concrete. This was really happening! But before he started the whole 'oh look, a gym, I'm going to go get my ass kicked' routine, he wanted to get a little training done. Nothing wrong with that. It had been a relatively uneventful trip thus far, and well...he was bored out of his mind. Not to mention he'd come down with a terrible case of 'I'm too afraid of my pokemon to meet them yet. Where the heck was that coming from!?
Ralidea bi-passed the city and entered the forest nearby. It was time. He could not possibly avoid it any longer! With a heavy sigh-and somehow resisting saying something cheesy-he tossed hi pokeball into the air and released his pokemon, meeting it for the first time! A flash of light-fancy-and before him stood his wonderful little vulpix. The confused, red, fox-like creature paused, looking around and taking a moment to eye his new trainer. He puffed out his chest a bit as he sat, speaking in an...oddly foreign accent, "Well! Took yah long anough tah let me out din't it?"
This day just got better and better. He leaned down, all smiles, "I'd heard rumors that starter pokemon were smart enough to talk, but I figured they were all bupkis."
The vulpix glowed a little more, feeling proud, "Well, it's only nat'ral, since we need tah be able tah become our traina's best frien's and foremost companions!" he added proudly.
"Well, I feel safer already! Pleased to meet you, I'm your trainer, Ralidea." he held out a hand. Mimicking his trainer, the vulpix held out a dainty little paw as Ralidea continued, "And your name shall be...Flaambe!"
The vulpix stared at him disdainfully for a moment, but sighed, "Tha's a terrible name. Bu' it's mah name, so ah suppose it'll 'ave tah do."

Koru tilted his head as he walked through the forest with Casso. Why didn't he check the map before they left the city...oh right...because Casso had assured him that she knew exactly the way. Of course the town map wasn't going to be much help since they had no idea where they were...just that there were trees everywhere. Every once in a while they came across a Pokemon in the trees, but otherwise nothing exciting.
The blonde sighed as his sister took the lead. He tilted his head as she started running towards something. The blonde's eyes moved forward as he saw another person. The boy followed his sister towards the boy. The boy looked like he was a trainer...of course the fact he had a bag from that professor...and was talking to a Pokemon was pretty much a yes. Casso went on blabbering, causing the blonde boy to sigh. Koru looked at the boy, bowing,"I'm sorry about her...I'm Koru and this is Casso, its nice to meet you."

Casso furrowed her brow as she walked through the forest with Koru. Why didn't she check the map before they left the city...oh right...because she had assured her brother that she knew exactly the way...which of course wasn't true, he should know better then that. The town map wasn't going to be much help since they had no idea where they were...just that there were trees everywhere. Every once in a while they came across a Pokemon in the trees, but otherwise nothing exciting was happening! It was so boring!
The blonde boy behind her sighed as she took the lead. The female's eyes gazed upon a boy about their age with a Vulpix...that meant a trainer! Somewhere her competitive drive kicked in...the more people she met the more battles and stuff she could get in and stuff! She didn't looked back to make sure koru followed her towards the boy...but she was sure he would.
Casso looked at the trainer, smiling. "Woah! Its a kid with a Pokemon! That's so weird!" she said, starting to babble. She had that habit when she was meeting someone new. The girl looked at the vuplix. "At least its not a bird Pokemon...birds are so stupid!" the girl said, going on and on about absolutely nothing. "Now tell me your names," she said a little bit...or a lot demandingly. The girl was a strange one indeed.

Ralidea heard footsteps approaching, but didn't bother to turn and look. Flaambe stood, tails standing strait as it werilly watched the approaching pair. He let out a small burst of flame from his mouth, glancing from his trainer to the blabbering girl. He was uneasy, it was always unnerving to be so close to such loud people. Ralidea stood as she demanded his name of him, winding up the watch of his wit. How wouldst he respond? It depended on the pokemon accompanying her, he supposed.
Ralidea turned and eyed the girl. He wa about to open his mouth when the other boy emerged. He raised a brow. He still didn't like people, but at least this one had manners. He paused for a time before speaking, "Ralidea. This is Flaambe." he informed dispassionately, "Mind you," he looked directly into the girl's eyes as a spoke, a smile still on his face and his voice still calm and perhaps sweet, "It would do you well to put a leash on your mouth."
Flaambe sat once more, relaxing a bit and shaking his little fox-like head, "As it be, wha' you doin' all the way out here?" he asked curiously, tilting his head to the side, "You trainin' and stuff?"
Ralidea glanced over at Flaambe with a soft smile, "An excellent question indeed. Are you trainers?" he looked from the girl to the boy. He was fairly sure there was no other logical reason fir them to be all the way out there-unless...they were lost, "Are you from around here?"

The boy really wanted to face-palm at the other males choice of words. He honestly told her she was a loud mouth...she wasn't not going to be happy. The boy watched silently as she progressed, making no move to stop anything she was going to do. The blonde was used to her little temper problems...probably because he had grown up with the girl.
Koru sighed, putting his bag down and rummaged through it. The boy went through the tm cases, map, and other such items just to find his pokeballs. The boy sighed, grabbing one of them out. The blonde let the ball fall to the ground, a beam of light letting out the Pokemon.
It wasn't that he wanted to fight, or thought there was going to be a fight...at least a Pokemon fight. He was certain his sister would pick a fight...a non pokemon fight most likely. The boy looked down at the male Pikachu that was his. He looked over at the two, crouching down to the small rat Pokemon. "My sisters crazy, you'll get used to it."

Casso's eye twitched at his choice of words...loud mouth...keep a leash on her mouth! The boy was totally asking for her fist to fit snuggly on his face...now she wasn't a violent person...who are we kidding she kind of is...that mixed with competitiveness makes her not so fun to be around sometimes.
The girl scowled at the boy,"Hmph!" She said turning away from the boy,"Stupid boys." She was being more pouty this time, something her brother was probably thankful for. After all...boys weren't suppose to say things like that to girls...unless they were stupid of course. She was certain this kid was an idiot...your supposed to be nice to girls after all.
The girl looked to her brother,"I am not crazy! He's just stupid." The girl said defiantly. Of course the insane don't think they are insane...the more you question your sanity the less likely you are to be truly insane...if that makes any sense. The girl folded her arms, her back to the two boys.
