A day off is hard to find when you're living the life of a Pokemon trainer... And this day off for Janessa was mostly decided by her Pokemon. They must have gotten bored with all the running around and constant training. But, hey- it was a lovely day for a walk around the city.
Speaking of Janessa's Pokemon... The two newest members of the team were... bonding, so to speak. Malvolio was chattering away in PokeSpeak to Sanja, who was staring wide-eyed at the Hoothoot. She was obviously completely shocked and amazed by whatever Malvolio was telling her. The pair of them were walking just a few feet in front of Janessa, who was taking a more leisurely pace.
"Don't get too far ahead, you two." Janessa warned. The two Pokemon made no sign to show that they had heard, but soon they stopped pulling ahead, and that was all Janessa needed. She looked down at the Pokemon next to her and smiled slightly.
"What do you think of them, Haldor?" Janessa asked the Larvitar, who merely shrugged and then grunted. His facial expression wasn't a particularly friendly one- his eyes were squinted and his lips were slightly pursed. 'I forgot that Haldor was the distrustful one...' Janessa thought to herself as she turned forward again...
Only to see the hinds of Malvolio and Sanja disappearing into an alley way.
"Hey! Get back here, you two!" Janessa shouted, breaking into a fast jog. Where in the world are they going?

When life leaves you blind...Urban camping is what some people could call it. Instead of finding a hotel or a poke center to stay at, Noah usually found some nice secluded spot and curled up with his 'mother', a Mienshao that had been his caretaker since his early years. The alley they were staying in still probably smelled of the Sitrus berries he had bought and eaten last night.
He heard someone approaching and snapped out of his slumber, Ahroun the Mienshao jumping up with him. The shadows of incomer's startled him into pressing against Ahroun, who crossed his arms over the boy's chest. Noah murmured something softly in Poké; his main language, to which she shushed him. Noah's Slowpoke looked up from where she was curled up.
...he saw the trainer and her Pokemon and smiled softly, breaking from Ahroun's arms. He gave a small wave as he tried to gather the words in English in his head. "H-Hi," he said quietly. "I'm sorry, did I lure your Pokemon here? Must have been the berries."

Malvolio and Sanja were already beginning to make themselves comfortable in Noah's little "camp". Malvolio was standing in the middle of everything, looking around with a scrutinizing look on his face. Sanja was pressed up against the Hoothoot, looking rather nervous.
Then Janessa came hurtling around the corner. She quickly skidded to a stop when she saw her Pokemon with some other trainer and his Pokemon. A relieved expression flashed across her face, which quickly turned into an embarrassed one. Trainer's weren't supposed to lose their Pokemon, after all.
Janessa smiled slightly at Noah's apology. "I should be the one apologizing; after all, my Pokemon did just run into your little camp." She said, before realizing how odd it was to be camping in the middle of a city.
Sanja, when she heard the voice of her trainer, ran over to Janessa and sat on her feet. Malvolio, however, wasn't distracted from his... whatever he was doing.
"I'm Janessa, by the way. And that is Malvolio, this is Sanja, and this," she paused and looked at Haldor, who was standing beside her, trying to hide his panting, "is Haldor."

Noah chuckled softly as the trainer of these Pokemon finally arrived. He stood with Ahroun and smiled. Company! Great! Something he enjoyed (and hated, if the said company was being mean) and honestly, couldn't get enough of sometimes.
"Tis' fine. Don't fret about it," he said with a slight grin. He looked among her Pokemon as he was introduced to them, looking at each one as their names were listed off. <Hello everyone,> he said to the Pokemon, in their own language of Poké. Which honestly, shouldn't have come from a human in the first place.
"Well, this is my mother, Ahroun," he said. Ahroun gave a light blush, a tad embaressed, but also giving a small wave to the recently appeared trainer.
OOC: Sorry for my disappearance. Busy with finals.

(No need to apologize... I'm in the same boat. Or, I was. But now I'm out of school! :D Now I just need to worry about graduation practice and graduation and all the fun parties and stuff!)
Janessa couldn't help but stare, rude as it might have seemed. After all, this was definitely not what she had come to expect from Pokemon trainers. He could speak with the Pokemon. In their language. And, didn't he just call that Pokemon his... mother? What? She was completely flabbergasted. She scrambled her brain trying to think of something to say in response, but she wasn't having much luck.
Her Pokemon also seemed quite perturbed. However, they weren't as lost for words as their poor trainer was. Malvolio was the first to speak up. No surprise there. <How can you speak our language? And how does that work, having a Pokemon as your mother? I must say, I've never encountered it. Nor have I even heard many rumors about such a thing.> The little Hoothoot stated boldly.
Janessa stared down at her Pokemon, wondering what he had said, before finally looking back up at those that she had just met. "Uh- nice to meet you." She finally said with a small, unsure smile.
