Name: Axel is just fine.
New or Old: Axel just joined today.
Experience: This is embarrassing: 6+ years. I usually write at the intermediate level but when role playing with others, can be pressed into going into the advanced level. My posts are mainly 3-7 paragraphs depending on what the task is and whom I'm role playing with.
Why you: To be honest, at first I was going to apply as a Snatcher or Head Snatcher for The Order; however I remembered that I always tend to role play an evil character of sorts. As such, I decided it'd be a unique experience to role play a good guy or neutral person for once. I'm very active an have role played as an Organization leader and an Elite Four position on a Pokemon site before. If accepted as the Lunar City Gym Leader, I'll try and put my own unique twist on it.

The world was such a chaotic place, one that needed to be changed for the better. It wasn't an opinion, nor a belief that he felt should have been followed upon. It could be said it was his own personal destiny, granted by the gods themselves. It was either the gods or the devils, either way Axel felt that only he could change the world for the better. Why else would he be blessed with such godly talent when it came to Pokemon battles? A gym leader at the young age of eighteen, having once battled among the very best in other regions.
Axel sighed as he ran a glove covered hand through his hair, a frown on his face. Did nobody else have the potential he desperately needed? These gym battles, they were getting mundane and quite honestly tedious to drag out. Gritting his teeth, the teenage prodigy examined the battlefield before him. Axel had developed his own unique style for the gym, always putting it up as a show for the locals and tourists. As such, there were bleachers full of people, each one cheering loudly for the battle at hand. To him, this was a coliseum and he was the lion going up against the gladiator. They didn't care whether it was the gladiator that was slain or the lion that tore them to pieces, as long as they got a show out of it.
His own Golurk standing triumphantly, a true stronghold warrior out of fiction. In front of the Automaton Pokemon laid a Kingler, no longer able to battle. His left eye twitched as he recalled his Pokemon, the trainer before him doing the same with tears in his eyes. 'Damn it all to hell, don't tell me Golurk went ahead and finished him off while I was musing. I even gave the kid an advantage by choosing a Pokemon with a type disadvantage.' Shrugging, Axel stared at the kid with an arrogant look in his eyes. In how own mind, there was no way that he was going to be beaten by a child with no potential.
Pulling out the standard grin which was common to Axel Rubymoon, he threw out another pokeball. The pop ranged loudly throughout the gym, a gasp of Aw collecting from the audience. A soft cry rang out, Flygon shooting straight into the sky as Axel laughed heartily. "Come on and give these people a show! Just who the hell do you think I am, to be toyed with to such an extent. Show me the power that brought you to my door!" Axel said in an overly dramatic voice, once again bringing cheers to the surrounding audience. The pre-teen child now looked like he was about to burst, fat tears welling up in his eyes.
Silently, the kid let out his remaining Pokemon, which unfortunately for Axel was a Sigilyph. Immediately, Axel's hand went to cover his face in embarrassment. Was this the challenge the people were looking for, a clean sweep of some rookie's Pokemon. If things continued on like this he would lose his endorsement deals. Biting his fingernails in fury, Axel stared at the trainer with contempt in his eyes. Very well, if he were to make a mockery of the Lunar City Gym by brining out such a weak Pokemon then he would devastate him so that he would never battle ever again. Similar to an action movie star, Axel pointed his right hand at the Sigilyph and formed a gun out of his fingers. "Bang!" Axel shouted loudly while 'pulling the trigger on his gun', Flygon launching a Hyper Beam at the pokemon before him.
