Noah Rosenthall kicked softly at the dirt on the road, strolling ambly. He was trying to keep his twisted mind as focused as possible when he did this; though even just walking it was beginning to prove itself as a burden. The boy halted his steps for a moment to cast a glance over his shoulder at the figure behind him. Ahroun the Mienshao wrapped her arms around Noah, comforting the boy. Noah sighed softly and turned, falling into her grasp, burying his face in her chest. "Ohh, what am I to do... I don't even know where I am anymore."
Ahroun hushed the boy, snuggling him. Her comforting words were easily understood by Noah; whom of which's first language was indeed poké. His secondary one was English. Being raised by Pokemon sure had it's perks, but it's consequences as well, such as not being prepared for the human world. And as a human himself, Noah was scared. Although the 16-year-old looked tough on the outside, he was still the same scared little boy on the inside.
He sobbed softly into her fur, clutching her tightly. "I... I miss home... why can't we go back?!" he yelled, moods changing in less than a second, mind splitting. "I'm not afraid of anything! Why do we act like cowards and run?!"
Ahroun quieted the boy with a hand over the mouth. <We are not running from anyone, dear. We came to help you become more accustomed to what the world really is.> Noah huffed and turned, continuing his walk. "Yeah. Well, maybe I hate this world."
As he had been advised of on the ship he had taken rk the Star Region, he was pay a visit to the lab to begin his so called 'journey'. Nevertheless, as Noah finally approached the door and knocked, he was able to compose himself quite well. Ahroun stood at his side, just in case. "H-hello?" Noah called. "Anyone here? I'm looking for a Professor Storm!"
