Name: Kira Takahashi
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Sexuality: Straight
Status: Trainer
• On The Outside Looking In •
Hair: Short, tousled black hair
Eyes: Brown
Scars/Markings: None
General Appearance: Kira stands 5’4 tall, she’s slim of build and she reminds pretty much of a tomboy because of the way she dresses. She doesn’t like to wear skirts or dresses, so you’ll oftenest see her wearing shorts or trousers and a normal t-shirt which sometimes is too big for her. Her skin is a little dark because she’s Japanese, her short hair is often tousled and her brown eyes are almond-shaped. She doesn’t have any tattoos or scars, but around her neck she wears a round silver amulet in a thick leather string. The amulet was one her grandfather gave her and the word “Dragon” is written on it in Kanji.
• There's More Than Meets The Eye •
Likes: Knowledge about Pokémon, to improve her skills, music, dancing (but she’s terribly bad at it), company
Dislikes: Guys (she thinks they’re immature), the Order, rude people, showoffs, she’s afraid of darkness (something she’ll try to overcome)
Strengths: Patient, mentally strong (but has a bad temper when irritated), tells what she thinks of others (not always a good thing)
Weaknesses: She’s not physically strong, tells what she thinks of others (not always a bad thing), has a tendency to dislike guys and see them as immature before she even knows them (which means she can be pretty immature at times)
Personality:
Kira doesn’t think much about whether people think what she does is weird or not – she’ll often do it anyway. She likes to be a little strange, because that’s just how she is, even though other people might take some distance to her because of it – she can’t struggle to make everyone on her way to like her, so why should she act in a different way than she likes? Kira also knows she isn’t the most attractive girl when talking about appearance, but she thinks she’s pretty enough and doesn’t really want to change. Talking about looking pretty, then a boyfriend isn’t on her priority-list, her Pokémon are – all the other stuff will come to her sometime soon enough in the future.
Kira can be shy when speaking to strangers and she often speaks more when she’s only with one or two friends at the time than she does when she’s among a big group of people – if there’s more than two people around her (and none of them are family or very close friends), Kira has a tendency to go in the background and not talk very much. So she’s more comfortable in small groups even though she neither is the loner-type.
But Kira can also be stubborn. She wants to show that she can travel around, train her Pokémon and become a good trainer. She’s a patient girl which you often will be aware of in battles, and she shows people the respect she thinks they deserve. Kira is also kind of traditional, so in the mornings before she eats breakfast, you’ll see her sitting on her knees, praying to her ancestors – especially her grandfather who lived with her parents and her. Because of what happened to her grandfather and his Pokémon, Kira has a deep hatred toward the Order and will definitely show it to them if she should meet them.
Beside the will to give the Order the punishment they deserve, Kira’s stubbornness also shows in her fear of darkness. This fear is one she’ll try to overcome in her time as a travelling trainer.

• How I Became Who I Am •
Family: A mother and a father
History:
Kira lived with her family in a little house some miles from Stormcloud City. Her grandmother died when she was 8 years old, so after she was buried, Kira’s grandfather moved into his daughter’s place (Kira’s mother), and became some kind of second father to Kira. Her grandfather looked after her when her parents had other important things to do, so she got as strong a bond toward her grandfather as she had with her parents.
When she turned 14, Kira wanted to become a trainer. Her grandfather had two dragon-type Pokémon and one fire-type Pokémon from when he had been travelling around, and all his stories had made her want to travel out and become just as good a trainer as him. Unfortunately, her parents wouldn’t hear about this since Kira in their opinion was far too young to go out by herself, her grandfather was too old to go with her, and since her parents weren’t trainers themselves, they couldn’t go with her either since they had their jobs. So she would have to wait until she got older.
In the age of 17, Kira was finally old enough in her parents’ opinion to go out by herself as a trainer. The same evening as this was decided, Kira and her grandfather walked around in the area, talking, and watching wild Pokémon as they so often had done it. They got far away, it was becoming dark, and they suddenly found themselves at the wrong place on the wrong time. A group of members of the Order found them, and they were interested in the grandfather’s dragon-pokemon who’d moved freely around with Kira and her grandfather. The members of the Order attacked them, so the grandfather locked his two other Pokémon out of their pokeballs and told them all to flee so they wouldn’t get captured. But instead of his Pokémon, their enemies attacked the grandfather - provoking his Pokémon to fight back to safe their trainer. The two dragons fought against their enemies while the fire-type took Kira on its back and brought her away from the battle as the grandfather had told it to do.
On the same night, the police arrived at the place with Kira, her parents and the fire-Pokémon. Unfortunately, it was too late. The grandfather was already dead and so were his two dragons who’d fought to the end because they’d refused to be captured by the Order. Two weeks later, the grandfather’s Pokémon (who’d been his starter) died, joining its friends in the afterlife. It didn’t die because of any physical injuries, but because it missed its trainer who’d been like a friend to it.
It took almost a year for Kira before she wanted to go to the lab and get her starter Pokémon, and bad memories are still recalled in her mind when it gets dark.
