Jerro stalked quietly through the forest, his feet making no noise without even concentrating on doing so. He was heading towards the forest's edge, on his way back to The Order's Headquarters. Jerro gave a wistful smile; it'd take a couple of days to travel all the way back, but the path was more or less straight and direct, since he knew exactly where he was going. The Forest around him was silent, most likely because the Pokemon were all hiding from him. They had no need to, though. He wasn't exactly interested in them all that much at the moment, since he didn't exactly want just any Pokemon. Realizing that it'd be easier to keep Wild Pokemon away if he did this, Jerro reached back, grabbed the two PokeBalls that contained Chimchar and Lillipup, and then released them. They reformed on either side of them, giving off their respective cries.
"Stick with me, and be quiet. I brought you out to keep Wild Pokemon away, just in case any decide that they don't like me traipsing through the forest," said Jerro. The two Pokemon immediately obeyed. The three made good progress, eventually finding themselves walking out into a rather large clearing with a path running through the center, most likely going in the direction of the nearest town. Jerro muttered under his breath, and immediately moved back into the cover of the trees. He had to make sure no one saw him. If he were to make eye contact with any travelers that also happened to be a Trainer, then he'd have no choice but to battle. Believing that the coast was clear, he motioned for his Pokemon to follow him, and then began to walk very quickly across the clearing.

Dono laid his back against a tree somewhere nearby in the same exact forest. Dono was not really doing much at the time other than just well, standing there. He had his trusty companion, Buizel, tucked away safely in its Pokeball and Dono really didn't care to release the pokemon from that state at this point. His interest was more in just finding something to do with all this spare time he found himself with at this time. For a thirteen year old he really didn't have much of a life or too many friends at all. Perhaps this would be different if he didn't make everyone around him hate him purposely.
Dono looked down into his pocket at the empty packet of cigarettes. Dono somewhat hated himself for this morning where he went and used 'em all in some sort of spree. Which wasn't the smartest thing ever, and surely wasn't the best idea ever on Dono's part. He had gone through quite a bit to get those, and getting some more would be a challenge for the young teen. Dono then heard some sort of sound, seemingly coming from nowhere. But suddenly he heard a follow up noise, one that was more easily tracked. Dono peeked his head out from behind his tree and saw the trainer, talking to his Pokemon. Two of 'em, both of them seemed decently powerful, but Dono was a sort of guy that underestimated nearly everyone. So he thought that Buizel as better.
Dono grabbed a Pokeball from his pockt and turned around the corner completely. Dono walked towards the man slowly, holding the pokeball in his hand loosely. Dono stopped a few steps in front of the man and said, "I saw you over here and you seemed like you might be interested in getting absolutely destroyed in battle." Dono really wasn't really insulting the man at all, he was just still not thinking too clearly and dropped the pokeball at his feet. From the pokeball burst Buizel. "I will give ya first strike since you probably need it sir."

Jerro's heart seemed to explode in his chest for a moment when the silence was broken by a man's voice. Cursing, he turned to face the one who had spoken to him, a man who seemed to be quite out of it. Before Jerro could even speak, he had already let out his Pokemon, a Buizel, and had told Jerro he could have the first strike. Annoyed a bit at having been pressured into a battle, but at the same time glad that he would finally be able to test his skills against another Trainer, Jerro sighed and took many steps back, until he was on the other side of the field. "You want a battle, then, stranger? You should know better than to challenge a member of The Order," growled Jerro, and then he motioned his Lillipup forward, even though his Chimchar seemed ready to leap into action. "Buizel is a water type, Chimchar. I'm using Lillipup first so that I can weaken it," he said to Chimchar, and so she relaxed and patiently began to await her turn to battle. "Since you're letting me have the first move, then I'll go ahead and get this thing going. Lillipup! Strike first, with Leer!" cried Jerro. With a bark in reply, Lillipup was charging across the clearing. As it neared the Buizel, it let out a roar, and glared at her enemy. Instantly, the effects of the move took effect, and Jerro was already yelling out the next command. "Good, now, turn your charge into a tackle, Lillipup, and make it hurt!" cried Jerro. Lillipup let out a growl, and suddenly turned her charge into a Tackle attack. She shot forward, and finally almost reached the Buizel. Jerro watched closely to see whether or not the attack would hit, or if he had rushed things just a bit too much. Word Count: 324

Dono realized that his movements had been too quick and bold, his sense of stealth almost non-existent in that quick series of movements. However he thought, personally, that he wording was to a certain extent great and he knew it would be hard for the enemy to reply without battle in his words. And quickly, he realized he had been right. By releasing his Buizel he had provoked a sort of aggresive aproach, as if Dono was doing this out of anger or out of strong feeling. But Dono did this purely out of boredom and his motives lay nowhere anywhere else. Until he heard a little bit about what this man had to say.
A man of the order? Isn't that just jolly. Dono knew very little of this organization classified simpily by the name The Order. But from what the childish Dono knew it appeared to just be a terrible group of people that were after something with evil motives and evil ways. Dono, however, saw them a bit differently then most. Dono saw them as a group of people that had an objective, nothing more nothing less. If Dono had some sort of cause surely he would be similar. They were stuck on their objectives, it was almost their life and they wanted everything to be theres. Just because an objective seems evil it surely had some good reasoning behind it. Or so, Dono thought.
Dono then noted swiftly on the fact that the man said to his Chimchar to wait. This Lillipup was meant to weaken his Buizel in battle? Dono wouldn't have anything of the sort happen in this battle. If this went to plan, Dono's Pokemon would hopefully have the ability to eliminate the Lillipup taking minumum casualties before fighting the chimchar, which by the man's speaking, was probably a greater threat. Then again, Buizel did have the type advantage. Perhaps the man didn't know that Buizel did not yet know any water type specific moves that would inflict any damage at all.
Dono knew that Buizel's low move vocabulary would be a disadvantage in this battle, but at least he knew that if he did indeed lose it could not be by that great of a margin. In Dono's mind he had already decided that this Lillipup was going to fall on its face fainted by the time this battle had ended. Buizel was effected by the Leer as the effect immediately took place. The defense lowering was an attempt to weaken Dono's Pokemon in a time when he needed it at its full strength. Such an effort would be useful, for sure. Whether it made a definit difference or not Dono did not know. Dono stretched a little bit as the Pokemon charged at his Buizel.
Buizel was preparing to dodge the attack, but instead of dodging it was hit by the move and fell to the ground in pain. Buizel, however, managed to stand up quickly after the hit and jump back. Dono had to call out to his Buizel to make it perform some sort of move. But what was really in consideration here was what would Dono do that would be effective on this Lillipup while not putting himself awkwardly in a position to get hit by an enemy attack. Buizel now had decent range from the Lillipup, and looked like it was just waiting to be called upon to attack. In all actuality, the Buizel's anticipation was killing it.
"Well its good to know that you are in the Order. I thought they had a higher requirement though. I figured you needed some sort of skil to enter The Order...." Dono said in a sort of bored voice. Although he had first came up to the man in a somewhat enthuastic way, it was only a way to hopefully get the man more ready to fight him. Now Dono was quite bored, and was hoping for this battle to go interestingly.
"Buizel, use SonicBoom... but why don't you use it twice, so we can teach this trainer that little puppies won't be of any effect against us..." Although the trainer could probably clearly hear him, Dono spoke as though the man was a million miles away. However Dono only figured that the man didn't care, for he surely did not care at all. Buizel inhaled sharply, as if it needed to take a heavy breath before this move, although it was almost definitely only for show.
Buizel made a sharp noise, launching forward the first Sonic Boom towards the enemy. The move was not the strongest in the world but it as quite effective at the lower levels that Buizel was currently in, and more than likely Lillipup was in as well. Buizel then, without a second to spare, launched another Sonic Boom at the Lillipup. This move was of equal strength, and Buizel did not show that much fatigue at all from the use of the move.

Jerro's eyes turned into slits at the insulting words of his opponent. He thought he was better than him, huh? Well, then he'd have no choice but to show the man how utterly wrong he was. Jerro watched as Buizel made its move and then made his next move. "Lillipup, dodge it!" he cried. In response to her Trainer's command, Lillipup narrowly avoided the first SonicBoom. However, she was struck full-on by the second, sending her flying backwards and crashing into a tree. Jerro flinched as she struck the trunk of the tree. As Lillipup landed on its side, Jerro watched as she attempted to stand once more. She managed to make it to her feet, and Jerro's mind raced. She probably wouldn't be able to take many more hits, so he needed to do as much damage as possible before she was out. "Lillipup, run around the Buizel as quickly as you can!" commanded Jerro. Lillipup looked a bit confused at this order, but obeyed it, racing forward after recovering and then moving at high speeds around Buizel. She was, of course, not as quick as her opponent, for Buizel's were known partly for their speed, but she would still make a harder target for the other Trainer's Pokemon to hit. His thoughts raced. What could he do to try and inflict more damage without putting Lillipup in a place that would immediately end with her being defeated? Realizing that he needed to do something soon, Jerro calmed himself, and then yelled out his next command to Lillipup. "Use Leer! Lower Buizel's defense again!" Lillipup immediately obeyed, turning and leaping in front of Buizel, staring into its face. Immediately, Leer took effect, lowering Buizel's defense, even if it was just barely, since Leer wasn't exactly the most powerful defense-lowering move in the world. As soon as she had used it, Lillipup moved backwards as fast as she could, and then began to run around the Buizel once more. She had to make as hard of a target as possible, and so, since she was running around the other Pokemon constantly, that pretty much did so. Jerro sighed as he realized that Lillipup was going to lose no matter what. If she was going down, though, then it wouldn't be without a fight. Obviously. This was a Pokemon Battle, after all, and Lillipup certainly knew that. "Lillipup, use Tackle! Full force!" yelled Jerro. Lillipup barked her agreement, turned, and charged at the Buizel. It came down to this; if Lillipup struck the other Pokemon, then she wouldn't be struck down quite yet. However, if the Buizel dodged it, then Lillipup would be open to quick retaliation that would no doubt lead to her being defeated. Of course, even if Lillipup did hit the Buizel, it would probably recover in time to strike back anyways, even if Lillipup was giving this attack everything she had. Jerro closed his eyes and waited for whatever to happen, to happen. Then, with his eyes closed, he knelt down and reached over to Chimchar. In response, Chimchar clambered up his arm and hung from Jerro's shoulder. She knew that her turn was coming up, and soon. Word Count: 555

It didn't take an expert to pick up on the courageousness of this enemy trainer. He had to have known that Dono was simply trying to incite violence with pety insults and acts of underestimation. Dono made it so plain and uninteresting when he did so. Dono realized that the other man had yelled out to his Pokemon to dodge the move, which made it go on some sort of desperate scramble in order to dodge the SonicBoom. The move was narrowly avoided, and watching the little Lillipup struggle to dodge the Buizel's attacks was in Dono's mind, interesting.
Next the second SonicBoom came in. This one of the same speed and just about the same shot in position. However the Lillipup was incapable of dodging this attack, and it struck the puppy down. Dono smiled widely, perhaps the Pokemon would be done here. However, the little rascal stood back up. The Pokemon showed some signs of fatigue and pain, but not many at all. The move did some damage, but not to an extent that it would ultimately destroy this Pokemon. "Lillipup, run around the Buizel as quickly as you can!" Jerro had yelled. Dono honestly found this interesting.
Thus far, Buizel had not yet shown too many signs of its quickness or agility. Nor had it shown too much abillity in attacking properties. Perhaps this was the reason was the trainer was willing to do so? Dono figured that if this man knew of the capacity of Buizel he wouldn't have sent out the Pokemon to do such a foolish set of manuevers as circling his Buizel. However, Dono already had the idea that this Pokemon was just a pawn compared to the much stronger Chimchar that was now resting next to Jerro.
Now Dono realized that this man had used Leer once more. This move did indeed lower Buizel's defense, but not to the extent that it would be useful all these times over. However, in the long run this move could prove to be Buizel's demise. Dono however, did not know of any move in Buizel's vocab that would counter this. Dono then watched boredly as the Lillipup circled the Buizel once more. "Buizel doesn't play tag..." The words slipped from Dono's mouth. Surely thats not what Jerro was getting at, but Dono had to make the horrible comment anyway.
Buizel was also getting slightly annoyed. At this point Buizel was hardly following the Lillipup with his eyes, it was just so irritating. Buizel had a low tolerance of annoyance as did Dono, so something like this was just begging Buizel to inflict more damage. Buizel was ready just to act upon anger and strike widly and randomly. Dono and Buizel heard the man call out the next move, and whether Buizel liked it or not, the Lillipup was close. Chances at this time pointed to the fact that Buizel would get hit.
But Dono, had some different plans. From Dono's experiments the Buizel itself did better under these sitatuations without commands then with them. The Buizel knew that Dono wouldn't give him commands on how to dodge moves. Buizel jumped into the air, only getting knicked by the enemy on the foot. Buizel however was not blown off of track by this move, and the jump went smoothly. Dono then spoke in a quiet tone, "Buizel.. use Sonic Boom.."
As the Buizel was about to land say, a foot or two away from the enemy, it launched a Sonic Boom at the enemy. The move was much like the others, but this one would hopefully catch the enemy off gaurd and give Buizel the hit. However, even if this move did hit and did do decent damage, Dono made the assumption that it would not be enough to destroy this little vermin. Buizel jumped backwards, almost gliding across the ground. Buizel was a little away from the enemy now, and it gave Dono a split second to think of what to do next.
"Charging Buizel will not provide you with any results... his speed is greater than that of your Pokemon's. But you are no fool, by now I have proved to you such a thing. You probably realize that you are going to lose this first battle, but such a unfair fighter like you will just use your Chimchar when the time is right. You have already stated that. But my question is, why waste time even trying with Lillipup. We might as well get this over faster. Surely The Order has things to do, even for their useless troops. Yet it seems that by using your tiny Pokemon you are almost toying with me. Wasting your own time for no good. Sounds like something I would do, yet you are over there all official, probably battling because it actually matters..." Dono said coldly.
Buizel loved listening to his trainer talk, he loved his logic even though he was wrong 90% of the time, and just spoke in order to evoke strong reactions from his foe. Dono looked to his Buizel, who was ready to attack upon command at this point. "Quick Attack.." Dono said once again, this time in a bit more lower tone. Buizel nodded at his trainer.
Buizel was ready to attack, and would enjoy every moment of the remainder of this fight. Dono had partially said what he siad to pump up the Buizel, who often lost motivation in the sometime boring tides of battle. Buizel dashed forward, running a zig-zag all the way to the enemy. Nearing the Lillipup, Buizel attempted to jump forward, slashing his right arm at the Lillipup's body.

Jerro knew that if Lillipup took both of those hit, she'd be down. She was still charging forward, attempting to stop her attack. Buizel was, indeed, weakened, he knew, but it was still in a much better condition than the lower level Lillipup. "Lillipup, dodge the attacks!" cried Jerro, although he knew that it was helpless. Lillipup veered off to the side to try and escape the SonicBoom, but the attack was too fast, and struck her full on from the back. She hit the ground head first and ended up rolling into a tree with a cry of pain. "Lillipup, try and use Tackle to deflect the Quick Attack!" cried Jerro. He was too late, though, as that attack struck Lillipup full on as well. He watched in shock as one of his Pokemon fainted for the first time in a battle. Ever. Of course, this was only her first battle with Jerro as her master. Now it was all up to Chimchar. "Chimchar... lets teach this Trainer and its Buizel not to mess with The Order!" growled Jerro. Chimchar mirrored his with her own cry of approval, and then ran forward, into the field of battle. Jerro's mind raced; Chimchar was at a type disadvantage, but was of a higher level than the Buizel, of that he was certain at this time. He didn't know if the Pokemon knew any water type moves yet, though, and that was the issue. He did know one other thing, and that was that Chimchar's speed was almost as high as the Buizel's, and its capabilities for dodging were stronger than the Buizel's. He just had to hope that would be enough to secure a victory. "Now... Chimchar, test the waters with Ember!" yelled Jerro. That was the new move that Chimchar had learned as a result of her battle with Lillipup, although she hadn't know she'd learned it during the battle itself. Chimchar gave its approval with a simple grunt, and then leapt high up into the air, the sun behind its back to hopefully blind the Buizel. While it was up in the air, its mouth opened and small spheres of fire shot out and down towards the enemy Pokemon at fast speeds. Jerro wasted no time in seeing if the move hit, though. "While you're falling, aim for the forest and use the trees to hide!" he yelled, and then watched as Chimchar directed her fall so that she would land amongst the trees. "That was successful... now onto the next part," muttered Jerro to himself, too quiet for the other Trainer to hear. The forest had become utterly silent in the stillness of the battle. Jerro's eyes were locked upon those of the other Trainer, betraying no hint of emotion. Then he sprang into action. Sometimes you had to play dirty to win, and as he was a part of The Order, he would go for it completely at the moment. "Chimchar, come out from the trees and strike the Trainer with Scratch!" he yelled. Immediately, the monkey Pokemon leapt from the trees and shot towards Jerro's opponent. That idiot would pay for insulting both Jerro and The Order. Word Count: 551

So far so good. The Lillipup had been hit by the SonicBoom attack as Dono had originally hoped, and as Buizel had fully expected. Dono knew that this man had true potential as a Pokemon trainer as Dono had assumed for himself to be, but he wasn't going to show to this man that he actually thought he was a decent trainer. Instead, Dono kept the same approach that he had before, and was going to continue making this trainer mad in hopes that he would never forget this encounter with Dono. Hmmm... perhaps that is one way to get yourself hated.
Dono watched as the man yelled out more commands to his Lillipup, but honestly the efforts were futile as the Quick Attack of the Buizel struck down the Lillipup. Lillipup was done, and everyone had to have known it at this point. Even Buizel had a small little grin on his face as he triumphantly looked down at his "kill". Dono then looked up to Jerro, who had stated to his Chimchar that Dono and his Buizel would be taught not to mess with The Order. Dono knew that messing with the greaters of the Order would be foolish and would more than likely get him nothing short of demolished, however Dono made the assumption that this would a bit closer of a match.
Slipping his Buizel a real quick look, Dono said out loud with artificial confidence in his words, "That was a real bother you know. However, Buizel thanks you for the warm-up." Dono always spoke out for his Buizel, because honestly it never really expressed itself out to other people other than Dono himself in private. Dono looked over to the Chimchar, whom was now in mid-air. Dono's eyes widened slightly as looking at the Chimchar, not aware of what was completely going on at this point in the battle. The Chimchar was launching flames at his Buizel. Dono knew that the move would do decent damage, and if his memory was functioning it could also inflict burn about hitting.
Buizel attempted to jump over to the left, hoping to dodge the attack with a moment of two to spare. However, the attempt at evading did not prove successful and the Buizel was swatted out of the air with the little balls of flame. To Buizel, it did not do as much damage as the Pokemon had expected it might. It did inflict damage for sure, but it didn't do enough to eliminate the Buizel in entirety. Buizel quickly turned to the Chimchar to retaliate simply out of anger before it realized that there was no enemy there.Buizel growled lowly to itself as it saw the Chimchar in a tree.
Dono had watched the entire thing from his angle and from what he saw it would appear that early on in the battle this Chimchar was doing nothing short of out-maneuvering his favored Pokemon. Dono realized by this quick display of agility that perhaps it would succeed in the act and leave his Pokemon in the dust. However, Dono was not completely convinced. He still had hopes in the little Ermine Pokemon and it would be down to strategy and utter skill and power of his Pokemon.
Dono then heard the man's command. Was this for real? A real command. Dono hadn't expected such a strategy to be used in casual battle. Then again, Dono's insults and overall appeal had made this more than just a casual battle. In a way, pride was on the line. However, Dono didn't have any pride to lose. So either way, he lost nothing. But, if this man lost he would lose a significant amount of pride. Or would he? Had he already decided that Dono was simply too insane to make anyone lose any sense of pride at all. Dono then saw a Chimchar flying at him. Closing his eyes simply, he was struck by the Scratch attack. Dono stumbled backwards from the strike.
Dono's face was immediately lit up with a smile though after the split second in which it was lost. However, this time the amount of time it would last would be low. Maniacal laughter overtook his calm composure and he bent over in a laughter-fit. Blood dripped slowly from the wound in his right leg. "You are ridiculous. Any REAL man wouldn't have to fight with such aggressiveness towards a 13 year old child. You think you are above me... no. You are below me, at least I have enough self respect to not disgrace myself. But.... you don't care. Winning is all that matters to you, not The Order.. not training. You just wanna win, and making a complete and utter fool out of yourself isn't a problem..."
The smile faded as the wound had been bleeding sort of heavily. Dono looked down at it, and blinked calmly. Dono then looked back up, getting back to analyzing the entire battle before him. From what he had previously said, attacking Jerro would be simply going against his own logic. Besides, doing such a thing would also be stupid. Dono wanted to have some fun, and beating the crap out of some Order member wasn't exactly fun. Winning would disgrace him FAR more.
Dono went with a familiar tactic, one that he had used, just previously in this battle. Honestly, Dono just needed a minute to clear his mind, and performing this combo would work adequately for the time being. "Buizel, Sonic Boom twice..." Buizel nodded to his trainer, who had known had taken the blow. It drove the Buizel a bit further, but he had already almost been at his limit for drive. Buizel opened his mouth and launched the two Sonic Booms that he was asked to use at the enemy, one after the other in quick actions.

Jerro was a bit taken aback by the boy's response. He laughed, even as he began to bleed quite badly? Now he knew that the boy really was insane. As the Trainer's commands reached the ears of his Buizel, the Pokemon immediately obeyed, spinning to face Chimchar and releasing two SonicBooms in a way to try and ensnare Chimchar. However, Chimchar was far more agile than Lillipup, and so would be able to dodge the attacks more easily. "Chimchar, dodge those SonicBooms!" commanded Jerro. Chimchar responded immediately, leaping into the air while spinning. The spin caused her to fly forward as she leapt, straight towards the Buizel. One SonicBoom completely missed her, but the other clipped Chimchar in her spin, sending her off course. "Please, it will take more than that to defeat Chimchar!" commented Jerro. His mind was already planning his next move. Since he hadn't made his Buizel use a water type move, it apparently didn't know any yet, unless the Trainer was keeping a move secret for a surprise attack. "Now, I'll show you a little something that Chimchar has been working on. It's not a move, I'll tell you that now, but it does involve moves. Chimchar, into the trees, quickly! Keep hidden!" yelled Jerro. Immediately, the Chimchar leapt back into the forest. Unlike last time, however, it seemed to disappear, using its natural abilities, not moves, to stay hidden from the Buizel and its Trainer, and even from Jerro. "I've never actually used this strategy in battle. I'm not even sure if it will work. However, if my Chimchar's performance is inpeccable, and my guess about your Pokemon is correct, then it will work." Jerro was completely serious. He was starting to become quite angry with this Trainer, and he didn't often become angry. Over anything. "Chimchar, grab a long but smaller branch and ignite it with Ember!" commanded Jerro. Immediately, something could be heard catching fire from the woods. Jerro grinned. "Now, jump from the trees and use the branch to attack the Buizel while backing the attack up with Scratch!" roared Jerro. The Chimchar obeyed immediately, shooting out of the forest towards Buizel. As she flew forward, she drew the flaming branch back and then slashed forward as she came into reach of the Buizel, while bringing her hand forward with a Scratch attack to try and trap to the Buizel between the two attacks. Jerro waited to see what would happen. Word Count: 429

Dono's eyes stared at the battle in front of him, the meer sight of such a battle raging on kept his attention, away from his wound and away from Jerro for the time being. However, it wouldn't last that long. Dono's primary reason for being here was to annoy that Jerro person standing just a few meters away from him. Dono thought that people that were passive would be able to just ignore him, and make him go away. In his mind, it was Jerro's fault for being... not passive? Honestly Dono didn't realize that he didn't give people a choice, they had to do something, ignoring Dono's infinite aggnorance wasn't an option.
Dono watched as his Pokemon launched the two Sonic Booms at the enemy, hoping to maybe get a hit or two with the attacks. Dono also watched as the enemy Pokemon so cleverly dodged the first attack using agility. This trainer had confidence... but for good reason. The Chimchar was of good ability, perhaps this is why the man this entire time had a good reason for thinking he was going to win. Maybe he knew all this time that Chimchar would win without a shadow of a doubt. Whether or not this was true Dono tried to look forward with confidence as well.
Dono then watched as the second Sonic Boom neared the Chimchar. Dono had thought that this one would have the same misfortune as the last, and Buizel would miss. However, he was wrong just slightly. The Chimchar was knocked by the attack and sent off course. Whether or not it would really make a difference didn't matter. Then the man spoke again, saying of how it would take more than that to eliminate his Pokemon. Clearly Dono already knew that, but Dono couldn't just make the assumption that this man was just saying it to aggravate him. Perhaps he really thought that the insane Dono would not realize such an obvious thing.
Dono really didn't know what to say at that exact moment, for his mind was focused more on this battle. In order to justify any sort of response he had to at least prove that he could do damage to this Chimchar. However, Dono figured that he could hit this Pokemon at least a few times if Buizel could last that long in this battle. However, Dono figured maybe his Pokemon could get some halfway decent training out of this if it did indeed last long. Buizel tried its hardest to follow the Chimchar, tuning out everything the trainer said. Dono however, followed closely everything the man had said. Dono still was looking for some criticism and such.
"Making guesses about my Pokemon is not the most intelligent thing to do... However, I will not underestimate you. Perhaps this could lead to a wild crash-and-burn. Or maybe you have found the key to winning this battle in 1 move. An unnecessary risk, if I do say so myself. Throwing in skill increases your odds, but I find skill is not that reliable, either.. Sir." Dono said to the man in reply to him speaking of how this move would would work under two circumstances. Dono put a lot up to luck, but he thought that his Pokemon in particular were not to be guessed about. He trained them too be... unpredictable.
Dono then watched as a flaming branch attached to a Chimchar. The move was close to hitting the Buizel, and avoiding it would nearly be impossible. The flaming branch was the first to hit Buizel, and it did do some damage. Buizel, being a water type, was not too heavily effected by the flaming-ness of the branch (It didn't flame, only troll.) the Buizel got up after the hit, bruised heavily by the attack. Dono looked at Jerro with the same bored expression. By now the bleeding of the wound had slowed a little bit, but the damage had in no way faded. "Such a strategy isn't bad sir. Buizel likes to play more directly though."
Dono looked at his Pokemon, who still had the soul to fight and wasn't going to stop until it fainted. Dono was happy, the Pokemon had always had such a fighting spirit, and it didn't really ever decline that greatly. Or at all. Dono then spoke, "Use Water Sport!" Dono yelled to his Pokemon. Buizel looked up into the air, shooting a burst of water into the air. The water splashed upon the ground. The move would lower the effect of all fire type attacks. Dono hoped that any other weird fire strategies would be weakened or even declined by this move.
Dono then went to yell out the next command. Dono once again felt restricted by the low amount of attacks Buizel had, but he wouldn't let it overcome him like it felt it was going to. Dono yelled out to his Buizel, "Quick Attack!" Buizel squinted its eyes at the enemy and then darted at the enemy. Nearing the Chimchar, Buizel attempted to slash at the enemy Chimchar. The move would hopefully slow down the enemy and get some damage done to this Chimchar.

Jerro cursed to himself as the Water Sport took effect. He'd managed to hit the enemy before the Buizel had used it, so that was a good thing, but now his Fire Type attacks would be greatly weakened. That brought things down to simple skill. However, as long as that Buizel didn't suddenly come out with an offensive Water Type attack, then Chimchar would most likely be able to win. Jerro heard the other Trainer call out a command, and so was ready the second he heard it, although he wasn't sure if Chimchar was far enough away to dodge such a fast move. He hoped that she was. "Chimchar, dodge the attack!" yelled Jerro. Chimchar tried to leap out of the way, but the extended hand of the Buizel struck Chimchar in the side and send her back several feet, down on one knee. "Come on, Chimchar! Lets show them just what they're dealing with! No more hiding! Use Leer, now!" cried Jerro. Chimchar turned towards Jerro and seemed to almost be smiling, and then turned and charged after the Buizel, which had slowed somewhat afterhaving successfully damaged Chimchar. She came around the side of the enemy and roared into the Buizel's face. Leer immediately took effect, lowering the defense of the Buizel. "Now, get away from the Buizel, Chimchar! Use your tree climbing skills to you advantage, and gain the high ground!" yelled Jerro, his words carrying across the clearing to Chimchar, who in return spun and charged towards the nearest tree, clambering up its trunk to gain the high ground, as Jerro had told her to. "Stay there for a moment, Chimchar!" commanded Jerro. Then he spoke to the other Trainer. "You should know something. This is my first Pokemon battle against another Trainer. It's true. I don't know if this is yours or not, but I do appreciate that you've made my Pokemon stronger with this. In regard to that, to show you my thankfullness, I'll try not to drag out my victory for too long." His words carried a certainty in them that seemed to suggest that he knew that he'd already won, even though that was in no way decided. At least, not until one of their Pokemon were, for sure, on the very urge of just completely collapsing. "Now! Lets end this, or at least attempt to, Chimchar! Put everything you have into this attack, and shrug off you damage, if you can! Use Scratch, at maximum power!" yelled Jerro. Chimchar vented a cry of agreement into the air, and then leapt into the sky, hand brought back in preparation to strike. His nails began to glow, and then expand just a bit as he put energy into it, until they were an inch longer than before. Not too much, but still stronger. That's what Jerro hoped, anyways. Chimchar directed her fall into a dive, aimed straight at the Buizel. As she dove towards the Buizel, she brought her hand forward. Then, she was nearly upon the Buizel. She shut her eyes and let out a single grunt as she struck something. Whether it was Buizel or the ground, though, she couldn't yet tell. Word Count: 552

Dono watched with a grin on his face as the Water Sport had successfully scattered out water throughout the battle field and created little puddles in its wake. The puddles didn't really matter, but perhaps they would make some sort of difference in the long run. Dono was really interested in stopping this Chimchar from lighting random objects on fire and then chucking them at his Buizel whose durability was already being tested in this combat. Right now Dono had to deal with Buizel's defense being lowered by the previous Pokemon. Since Buizel's defense was indeed lowered any and every attack would feel more harsh on Buizel.
With this is mind Dono realized that that Lillipup was in all actuality, vital to this battle. Surely if the man would have bypassed using Lillipup Dono wouldn't feel the pressure of knowing his Pokemon's defense is lowered. With this addition burden on Dono he had to think of someway to get around that obstacle as well. However, the first way that came to Dono's mind was blocked instantly by the fact that he was not fighting against a lower level or lower speed Pokemon. So make agile evades would not be as easy as it would originally be hoped.
What Dono needed was a momentum shift, a way to get Buizel more into the action then he previously had been, a way to get himself more engaged. Which was exactly what Quick Attack was supposed to do. The move hit the Chimchar, and did some damage. Dono was grateful that the move had done so but he didn't have any time to celebrate. Buizel bounced back, ready to attack again and with haste. But Dono was anticipating an attack. Dono did not know what kind of attack would come his way, but whatever it was he had to be ready.
Leer... such a familiar move. Dono looked upon this move with great discomfort for the low level Buizel had low defense in the first place, and lowering it more and more would making him more and more fragile in battle. Dono hated how this man seemed to keep sabotaging the Buizel, bringing it to a much lesser state. Dono had wanted to keep the offensive, hoping that perhaps Chimchar would not be able to withstand the first few attacks and break. However, perhaps it was time to switch to a more defensive approach. Dono however, decided he would wait for the next few seconds in battle to develop. These... were vital.
Dono watched as the Chimchar jumped back into the trees, retreating from close range combat once more. Perhaps Jerro was afraid of a close range retaliation, in which Buizel would be able to pull off. He had thought through more than Dono had originally thought, but what was more relevant in Dono's mind was the fact that this Chimchar was heading back into the trees... again. Dono intensive thought was broken by the man speaking to him, in which Dono listened to carefully. Primarily, he was listening for tracks of fear or nervousness. But the words, also mattered a bit.
"Buizel will only get stronger as well, and perhaps I do owe you thanks for that. However, you speak with the utmost confidence, as if you actually know you are going to win enough that you will try to end the battle as soon as possible. A lesson to be learned. You realize, my thoughts were similar to yours at the beginning of this battle. I was going to win and ending it fast and having fun was my goal. Look where that got me, in a position that is not desirable. Just thought I would share that, sir." Dono said to the man in a quiet tone.
Dono did not know what saying such a thing to the man would accomplish, but he felt the need to say it so he did. Perhaps it would make the man hesitate his next move, or he could (and probably would) just ignore it. However, Dono had time to say it, for Jerro's Chimchar was paused up in the tree, so he wasn't running any risk taking time to say this. Dono then watched as the Chimchar jumped from the tree, and attempted to use Slash on his Buizel. Dono's eyes shifted to the ground, almost as if he was bored. However, he only waited for a result. Dono looked up slowly to see that his Buizel had evaded to the right fast enough to dodge the Scratch attack.
Fun fun fun.... The words passed in and out of Dono's mind. Buizel had actually done what he had hoped, and although it was more than likely just a stroke of luck, Dono enjoyed the moment for what it was for. Buizel had to strike while the Chimchar was close, before this Chimchar could regain high ground. "Buizel, Quick Attack!" Buizel dashed forward with speed and agility and attempted to strike the enemy with the attack. Buizel would then sink to the left, where he awaited another command. However, Dono wanted to do more.
Dono wanted to attack again. "Sonic Boom!" Buizel launched a Sonic Boom from reasonable range at the enemy, in hopes that the move would blow the Chimchar away before Jerro would have the chance to guide his Chimchar away from Buizel. However, Buizel was indeed damaged and due to this his speed was not exactly fully in order, so the pause between the moves was a bit longer than Dono had originally hoped.

Jerro cursed as Scratch missed the Buizel, causing Chimchar to crash into the ground. She rolled as she hit, removing the force of the crash, and then stood and spun, growling, ready to continue. That's when the Buizel used Quick Attack. "Dodge the attack, Chimchar!" yelled Jerro, although he knew the chances of doing so at that distance were almost exactly zero. Chimchar attempted to jump over the charging Buizel, but failed, instead having Buizel smash into her stomach. Chimchar skidded back quite a distance, hand at her stomach, grimacing in pain. She finally stopped skidding, and Jerro began to yell out his next command. However, before he could, the follow up Sonicboom attack from Buizel was shooting across the clearing. He could do only one thing.
"Chimchar, dodge the attack! Don't let that Buizel hit you again! You can't afford to lose any more strength! If you do, your speed will be effected!" bellowed Jerro. The second the extra words left his mouth, he realized he shouldn't have said them. Doing so gave the other Trainer important information that Jerro had learned from reading Chimchar's movements in battle. Cursing his foolish moment, he turned all of his attention on the movements of Chimchar and Buizel. Chimchar was successfully managing to keep out of the way of the Sonicboom, having rolled out of its way as it shot by. Jerro smiled victoriously, glad that his words had gotten through to the Pokemon. He continued to watch the battle, eyes slits, the smile still on his face. "Chimchar, get back to the trees!" he cried. Chimchar obeyed immediately, clambering up the nearest tree and climbing out onto the highest branch, looking down on the Buizel.
Jerro took the moment to survey the situation. From the expression on the other trainer's face, he'd figured out Jerro's strategy. Jerro had managed to gather the needed information to pull out a win on his part throughout the battle leading up to this moment by simply keeping a close eye on the Buizel when he wasn't giving commands. You could notice many weaknesses in humans and Pokemon alike simply by watching them for a few moments. However, doing so with his opponent seemed to no longer be the best path. So, he'd change gears. Glaring at the Buizel, he let out a deep breath, and then went through his plan once again. Nodding to himself, he opened his mouth to speak. "Chimchar, pin the Buizel beneath you!"
Chimchar let out a cry, and then leapt from her perch, shooting towards the Buizel below. She struck the ground a yard away from the Buizel, rolled, stood up, and then turned and shot towards the enemy Pokemon. Chimchar's eyes had turned into slits, reflecting her now even fiercer mood. She reached forward and tackled Buizel to the ground, causing both Pokemon to fall to the ground. As they fell, Chimchar used Buizel as a springboard and jumped back up into the air, soaring forward to land a few yards away. She turned back to the enemy Pokemon, snarling, ready for action once more. Jerro smiled, and then moved onto the next part of his attack.
"Chimchar, use Scratch! Aim for Buizel's chest!" roared Jerro. Chimchar let out her own roar in reply, and then raced towards the recovering Buizel. She brought her arm back, and then forward, shooting towards Buizel. Jerro couldn't tell if the move had hit, and he didn't have time to wait and see. He moved onto another attack. "Chimchar, use Scratch just once more, and don't hold back!" he yelled. Chimchar cried out her agreement, and then leaped towards the Buizel hopefully for the last time, her hand extended for another Scratch attack. Jerro hoped that this one would hit, especially since he wasn't sure if the first one had hit or not. He closed his eyes, waiting for whatever would happen, to happen.

Dono's eyes were looking upon the battle as they were before, and his interest in the battle was not lost. Dono tried to keep his hopes up although he knew the battle was winding down and he would more than likely not be the victor of this battle. Dono had to keep his cool though, he had spoke with insanity in his words but he had not spoke with genuine anger other than when he spoke being hit by the scratch attack. The words were not regretted, for they probably didn't mean anything to this trainer. This Order Member probably wouldn't even remember Dono, for in Dono's mind he was hardly notable at this point. Dono realized that his Buizel was going to be unable to go on much longer, and even attempting to go on further almost seemed useless. But quitting is for.. well. Not Dono. Dono had to fight until either him or his Pokemon fell to the ground defeated. Dono had the hopes that it would be his Pokemon in this situation, for was already left with a giant scratch wound in his leg. He still wanted to punt that Chimchar across Sakura Forest into a Meat grinder set on the highest setting. But that wasn't going to happen. Not practical enough, I suppose.
Dono really didn't know what good it would do... the move had hit, but did it really matter anymore? The move would surely damage the enemy as all attacks previous had done, however it seemed at this point that it really didn't matter. The Chimchar wasn't slowing down as he had first anticipated. Perhaps making such assumptions were foolish, and he just made a few mistakes. Dono really didn't want to blame himself for the loss, it was against his inner self to blame himself for something of the sort.
Dono sighed silently to himself as his eyes shifted back to the ground. His eyes appeared bored again, just as they had before. He had repeated the same actions, but not on purpose. It was just a force of habit that he would appear bored to the enemy every time he realized that he had just failed himself horribly. Dono wasn't sure why he always felt the need to sell to the enemy that he didn't care. Dono didn't honestly care TOO much, but he made himself seem almost without emotion at times.
Dono looked up and said, still lacking any emotion, "Quick Attack, Buizel." However, it was worthless. He was used as a springboard right before his eyes. This Chimchar was just asking to get stomped into the ground and served as a new kind of ice cream to little children. However, Dono pushed out the secondary unpractical thought. Dono then saw Buizel get hit by a Scratch. Dono then said, this time louder. "Quick Attack... Buizel." Dono really was getting slightly angry. Then another scratch hit his Pokemon. He then spoke as his Pokemon fell to the ground, "Fine then. Don't listen to me..." Buizel didn't get up from its position on the ground. Fainted. Perfect.
Dono held out a Pokeball in which a blue light was shot from. The light grasped onto the Buizel and pulled it back into the Pokeball. Dono then pocketed the Pokeball and looked to Jerro. He didn't really know what to say, this was his first defeat. He figured Jerro would have something triumphant to say, or gloat or something. But he wasn't sure, so he just awaited a response. By now he really wanted a cigarette. Only made him more angry at himself, since when he put the Pokeball away he had brushed over the empty pack.
