Katsuo had just gotten into Haven City, which in all honesty is very difficult to enter, especially if you are not used to traveling through such horrible terrain in order to get here. But Katsuo found it quite odd that this place was so nice and flawless since it was so hard to get here. Maybe this region figured that after such a route you deserved some sort of safe haven so that you didn't decide that you would just leave after such a journey. Anyways, Katsuo was happy he was here, as were his Pokemon that he been out of their Pokeball along the way, but now rested subtly inside their pokeballs awaited to be "chosen" to walk about and have a good time as Pokemon did.
Katsuo walked through someplace that might have been considered the outskirts of the town, but even the outskirts of town still seemed kind of nice and peaceful, not like some sort of suburban nightmare. Katsuo had continued to walk at a slow pace, looking around at his sourroundings as they passed by his slowly. All the friendly faces, all the flowers, everything that was clearly on the brink of perfection. But Katsuo knew this place wasn't exactly at perfection. Any mad man could walk in here and tear the place up upon their will. Katsuo, surely, wouldn't be that man but that does not mean that it couldn't happen.
Katsuo in all actuality did not have any intentions of doing anything to annoy anybody, he decided not to talk to anybody that may not enjoy his company or even anything like that. Katsuo however, did want some sort of decent conversation with somebody wherever that person may be. He hadn't seen anyone that genuinely seemed to want a nice conversation with him yet. Katsuo figured he could drop a candy wrapper from his pocket and wait for some sort of town perfectionist (Katsuo only assumed the city had them, since he had never seen a city so near perfection) but he figured that might trigger someone to act angrily towards him, which would only further get him away from his objective of kind conversation.
Katsuo soon stopped and rested against the wall of a building, not knowing if anyone would care of not. He did not take note of what building he was resting against, but it didn't matter to him. He reached into his pocket pulling out a small handful of skittles seemingly made up of mainly red skittles. He quickly shoved the skittles in his mouth and looked around for someone to talk to.

Minnie's hands where laced together in worry as she peered about, left and right, down alleys and between peoples legs, for her currently missing Eevee. The little bugger! Minnie frowned, rubbing one arm as she peeked down the street, finally spotting the waving brown tail of her Pokemon. She let out a thin breath.
"Umbr..."
One of the Pokemon's ears twitched backward, and then the Eevee stopped, turning around and waiting for Minnie to catch up to her. As soon as her favorite person was close enough, Umbr jumped into the waiting, already cradled arms. She buried her nose in the crook of Minnie's elbow, letting out a contented sigh. The Pokemon that Minnie had had for the past few years fell off to "sleep" as Minnie walked.
The woman came to a halt when she saw a young man leaning against a building. Umbr, not content with the sudden halt, lifted her head up, looking around. She spotted the male, and her ears shot straight up on her head. She leaped agilely from Minnie's arms, landing on the ground with the tips of her ears quivering. She was on her toes, looking at the male with excitement. She gave a soft bark, stepping closer.
Before Minnie had considered her an almost perfect specimen of the Eevee lines, but after seeing a well bred Espeon, she had to admit that little Umbr had a lot of faults. Ears set to far apart, tail to short, the list went on in Minnie's head. However, she didn't care right that second. What she cared about was keeping her little love from getting hurt least this was a trainer who did not find the Eevee to be nearly as endearing as Minnie did.
"Sorry. She loves to meet new people."
Minnie spoke quickly and quietly, reaching down and scooping up the canine in her arms. Umbr's ears dropped down, as did her tail, and she laid her head against Minnie's forearm, stretching out one paw at Katsuo. Word Count: 342 Post: Meh, mine's all rambling like. But it plays out Umbr pretty well.

Katsuo at this place was chewing on his Skittles contently, trying to break down the massive... well, mass in his mouth. Katsuo finally had broken down the bunch of skittles so that he could swallow it, and he was quite contented with himself. Suddenly a sharp bark could be heard, but not really a bark you would hear from some dog-like Pokemon, more lik something you would hear from a puny little Pokemon of some sort. Katsuo's wide eyes lookd down slowly and noticed the small Eevee just a little away from him. Perhaps he did make something mad, just sitting here minding his own business.
Katsuo thought the little thing was pretty cute, not the best little thing ever but regardless it looked pretty awesome. Katsuo didn't really know what this little Pokemon was doing right here. Katsuo figured it was against some sort of law of perfection that little homeless eevees can be just, walking around enjoying theirselves. But then again, Katsuo didn't know the EXACT Standards of this-- oh wait. A woman walked up, seemingly taking ownership of this small Pokemon that had walked up to him. Katsuo had really thought this Pokemon was homeless and such.
Turns out there was no disturbation of the perfectness then.
Katsuo thought, referring to his previous thought that Pokemon can't just be walking around in perfectness without a home. Katsuo watched as the woman scooped up the small little Eevee into her arms, which proved to Katsuo that this thing had to be a safe, and not anything that would be potentially dangerous to himself. Katsuo looked at Minnie, she looked around mid 20s, maybe of a lesser age. Katsuo decided to speak in reply, because she seemed like she might be able to carry a decent conversation, which would ease Katsuo's boredom quite a bit. "Its perfectly fine." Katsuo said, looking at the little Pokemon. Katsuo reached forward his right arm and lightly tapped the Eevee's paw, perhaps hoping to evoke some sort of reaction or something. Katsuo then shoved his hand back into his pocket, the one in which contained all of his remaining skittles.
"Well, Hi. I'm Katsuo from the Shooting Star Farm. Who might you be?" Katsuo said confidently.

Umbr wiggled hyperly in Minnie's arms as the boy tapped her paw. She wiggled about so much that Minnie finally relented, placing her back on the ground. She jumped up against his leg, waving her tail back and forth. Her ears where straight up again, and her nose quivered in excitement. Oh yes, Umbr liked meeting new people.
Minnie inclined her head slightly, a smile testing itself out on her lips. "I'm Minnie. I work at the PokeMart in StormCloud City. It's nice to meet you Katsuo," she watched the small Eevee as she dropped back onto all fours, circling around Katsuo slowly, waving her tail in the air. She was such a curious Pokemon. And she was always sticking her perfect little brown head where it didn't belong.
Speaking of this, the Eevee had caught onto the scent of the skittles, and now she stood on her hind legs, "dancing" excitedly. Minnie gave a small sigh, and then smiled. "Umbr, dear, whatever he has, you probably cannot have," Umbr twitched an ear at Minnie, but didn't drop back to the ground. Her small claws where hooked down into the boys pants, and she didn't plan on moving until she had at least seen what was in his pocket. Or hand.
Minnie shook her head at her stubborn companion, sighing softly. That little pup could be very determined when she wanted to be. Word Count: 239.

Katsuo looked back down to the little Pokemon at his feet, it really seemed to like new people, well actually, that was quite apparent. It had squirmed out of its owner's arms to get over to him. Just to jump up onto his leg. Katsuo wasn't sure of the proper reaction. Katsuo was great with Pokemon on the farm, but this Pokemon was not like most, cooperative and such. Instead it just seemed desperate for whatever Katsuo had in his pocket. Which in this case was his Skittles. Katsuo knew that Pokemon liked sweets, berries, and various chocolates. Katsuo, at the Shoot Star, had sneaked some of the Pokemon some treats, but he never really consulted Sunny about it, and wasn't sure if this Pokemon's owner would really respect him giving sugar to an already super energetic Pokemon.
Katsuo grabbed a single skittle, and popped it into his mouth, making it apparent enough that the Pokemon may have noticed it. Perhaps now it would be content enough knowing what Katsuo had. This might not have been the case, but it was worth a try. "Very nice to meet you as well Minnie." Katsuo said, sort of silently as he had just swallowed his little Skittle. Katsuo then decided that perhaps he could get this little Pokemon's claws out of his leg by giving it something else to freak out over. Katsuo pulled out a pokeball from his other pocket and dropped it to his left. From it burst his Pokemon Icy. The Snover stood up tall. Katsuo counted himself lucky that Cranidos wasn't contained in that Pokeball, for Cranidos was quite intimidating, although he was much more kind than Snover. Snover was still pretty nice though, and looked at the Eevee. It called out its name excitededly. Snover was nice to get out of its Pokeball, and really enjoyed meeting other Pokemon.
"Minnie, if you work all the way in Storm Cloud, what brings you out here?" Katsuo asked. Katsuo knew that he was a little away from his work as well, but he just was just kind of curious.

Minnie was enjoying watching Umbr dance around in the hyper way that she had. Those fluffy brown ears where perked up, and she was just all a quiver. As soon as she saw that it was just skittles, however, she dropped back onto all fours, twitching her tail.
She was going to simple return to Minnie's side when she saw the Snover. She lifted her head straight up, ears pricked and tail tip quivering. The word "quiver" was used a lot to describe the movements of Umbr.
The little Pokemon bounded straight forward, sniffing at the other Pokemon carefully. She lifted her head up, lifting one paw toward the other Pokemon. She was kind of like a well trained puppy in this aspect, as she almost always "shook hands" with those that she was new to meet.
Minnie's eyes flicked across to Katsuo, and she laced her hands behind her back. "Hmm? Oh, well, I ran out of a few things at the PokeMart, so I was coming here to see if I could get them. It seems that no where else carries the TM's that I need," Minnie made a face, as though the mere thought of having to stock up on TM's was insulting.

Snover looked at the tiny little Eevee. They seemed to both be very tame and at least somewhat kind. Snover was unsure of how to react to the little Eevee at her feet. Snover noticed that the Eevee had raised out its hand to her. Eevee thought that perhaps it would be proper to react in the way that any courteous Pokemon like herself would. Snover reached out and touched the paw off the other pokemon. Snover, not having much of a hand to grasp with, only shook its hand a little bit. Not really holding the Eevee for the duration.
Katsuo had thought that it was good that Snover was not in her diva mood at the time and was actually being nice to the Eevee. Snover got into that some sort of mood sometimes, and it was hard to get her out. But Snover was luckily being a good little Pokemon. Thats one thing that Katsuo didn't have to worry about for now. Katsuo looked back over to Minnie, who said simply that she was searching for TMs all the way out here. Whatever she was looking for it must have been pretty odd, because going all the way out here was some drastic measures for some TMs. But that sort of determination was good for a worker, someone that would do all that for their work or whatever.
"Thats unfortanute.." Katsuo said slowly, as if in some sort of thought. "Luckily, all I have to do for my job is find exotic Pokemon and bring them back to a farm and take care of Pokemon. Was it part of any sort of plan to become a Pokemart Worker?" Katsuo was quite curious actually, because he had always wanted to be a breeder. But he knew some people didn't get to be what they dreamed. He only wondered about these types of things.

Umbr gave an Eevee smile, wagging her bushy tail as she looked up at the Snover.
"Hi! I'm Umbr. That's my partner, Minnie."
Umbr's ears where pricked forward, her whole being showing her happiness to talk to another Pokemon.
Minnie, on the other hand, was listening raptily to Katsuo.
"Unfortanute indeed. I didn't think that Earthquake was such a hard TM to track down."
She shook her head slowly, listening to the rest of what he had said.
"No, I was going to originally be a trainer with Umbr. I had even gotten my second Pokemon, an Absol who Umbr said was called Regret, but then I decided that I just couldn't put my Pokemon through battling. I also couldn't be a breeder. I've never had the talent for it. So Regret decided that she wanted to be released back into the wild, and Umbr stayed with me."
Minnie shrugged, lacing her hands behind her back.
