General Appearance: Katsuo is at the present time, 5 feet 7 inches tall. For his age this is decently tall but not too tall. that he is like a giant compared to others of his same age. Katsuo likes to think of himself as a sort of short person since a lot of people he comes in contact with are a lot older and around the 6 foot mark, which is sort of like towering over him. Since Katsuo is pretty easily intimidated his smallness is sort of disadvantage he has (or so he thinks he is small). Katsuo's hair is pretty shaggy but at the same time it is kempt to the point where it isn't out of control and actually looks pretty decent most of the time. His hair reaches about down to the top of his neck, and not too much further at all. As stated above his hair is fully black, and it being somewhat clean it reflects light quite nicely.
Katsuo's eyes are pretty big but about normal considering all the other people in anime. They look very much like a faded brown, so much that you would actually get a good look to tell their actual color. Katsuo himself does not know his eye color currently because sometimes people tell him his eyes are green. Next thing, Katsuo's mouth is very small and not too noticable at all. His voice is also pretty quiet due to this. Katsuo is a pretty slim guy and not really building up too much muscle at all to be shown. However he is not really a "twig" or anything and does eat a bit so he isn't too petite or anything.
Katsuo's usual just walking around attire is a jacket which he leaves unzipped. His two most common jackets are one of black color and another of a faded but somewhat dark brown color. He usually wears some sort of faded blue jeans along with his jacket and some sort of shirt (he doesn't care about the under-shirt's color) below his jacket (usually of black color). Katsuo somtimes breaks this usual attire and wears whatever else he feels he need, but 80% of the time some variant of the listed outfit is worn.

Personality: Katsuo actually has quite a weird personality and is very questionable as far as how he thinks and how he does things. His mindset is seemingly unlimited, for he can think of things from very many perspectives and can think of things in odd ways. Katsuo nowadays puts this to use very solemnly but he figures it will help him around the ranch a little bit. Katsuo also is the kind of the person who although he does think for himself quite a bit he lacks the assertiveness to fight his point and do whatever he wants.
Katsuo is also the kind of person that doubts a lot of the things he does and such. Its just in his nature to doubt things until he can in his own mind prove it correct. Very solemnly does Katsuo make assumptions but when he does he had a very good reason, usually because its just not practical that he would find the answer without some sort of assumption. Another thing about Katsuo, he always has to find something practical about stuff so that he can think it through all the way.
Katsuo is not much of a talkative person simply because he does not like talking about himself too much and thats what a lot of people like to hear about. He is more to himself unless he is talking to someone he can trust, but even then he is not going to blab on and on about something on himself. Katsuo over the years has developed a kind of perfectionist kind of feel. He gets mad at himself for messing things up but he can get over most things pretty fast instead of being mad at himself forever over one mistake.

History: Katsuo was born in a little town called Eterna City. The city didn't have much inhabitants and it was actually a pretty peaceful place most of the time. Akio had met Rissa on a trip to Hearthome City, where she had originally resided. When they fell in love (which was decently fast) they moved back to Eterna City, Akio's home. 8 Months later they were married in Eterna City, where they would spend their life. Rissa, after a very horrible miscarriage, had gotten pregnant and 9 months later had Katsuo.
Rissa was a libarian but didn't get much business at all, other than from a few locals that came every once in a while. Rissa held one of the biggest collections of books in all of Sinnoh but she had no one to share them with. Akio was a travelling breeder, and took large monetary grants for his breeding services. He at many points had 30-40 Pokemon in his PC and with him. Katsuo either spent the day with Rissa organizing her large amounts of books or traveling with his dad, learning the tools of the trade for breeding Pokemon for very large amounts of money.
Katsuo wasn't much of an exciting kid in his early life until at age 6 when he learned the fundamentals of reading from his mother. He could read very basic pieces of writing and sentences and could grasp the main idea of writing passages, whereas not being able to get the whole idea. Katsuo at this age (6) was told where he was to go everyday and do whatever he was told. Often times he would go a weeklong trip with his father and then work at the library with Risa for a few days.
He soon learned more and more about reading, and along with this he learned more and more about mathmatics and science and everything else that was written down in all these wonderful books. Katsuo was soon sort of a book worm, which he still sort of is today. Katsuo didn't really have any friends and just spent all of his time doing what he could, read and stuff. When he turned 11 his father granted him a gift, a Pokemon in which his father had obtained as a trade for a few Pokemon eggs. It was a Lvl 11 Cranidos. After some research by Katsuo he raised his Cranidos, teaching it new tricks and all that. Soon he raised the Pokemon to level 17, where it now was showing more noticable strength.
Katsuo's father was impressed, and Katsuo himself was also very proud of himself. Katsuo knew that his future career would be with Pokemon, with how much he was doing with this Cranidos. It could do all the things Katsuo wanted it to do, and it seemed content as well. All because he followed the books. Katsuo figured that if he could combine his love for reading and Pokemon he would turn it to be an amazing Pokemon Breeder. However Katsuo aimed higher than that. He wanted to be even better than his father, who was an esteemed Pokemon Breeder. His father only chuckled at his goal, but he reassured him that he could do it with the proper determination.
Katsuo read more and more books, and then just when he thought he had his Cranidos to its maximum potential (Level 20) He received a level 9 Snover. Katsuo trained his Snover very well and in an even shorter amount of time he had gotten his Snover up to a very decent level as well. Around this time he got a portion of his dad's breeding land and started using this to help people out. As he did this he had loads of fun, selling eggs and making new friends along the way. Katsuo thought life was perfect.
Then he decided that this wasn't cutting it, that being at this level wasn't being better than his dad. Katsuo heard of a farm, the most productive farm in the whole Star region. Katsuo just had to go, so he did. He went to the farm and managed to get a job there as one of the farm workers. He had many responsibilities but this is where we leave off. Katsuo has just gotten his job and is still getting the hang of it, where will he end up and how well will he do in this new job opportunity?
