Name: Kari.
New or Old: I RP as Minnie Abagail Dark and Kari Elizabeth Stone. Previously I also had Miharu "Ruby" and Kisara "Sapphire". I have thought about bringing the two back, and then decided against it.
Experience: I have been role-playing for five or six years, and I find myself to be literate, and capable of using a large array of words and synonyms.
Why you: I feel that I should get this character because I had to give up Minnie being part of the Elite Four. Well, okay, that's kind of one of those "entitlement" things. I feel that I'm pretty capable of role-playing a gym leader, and that, though I'm a little rusty on acting as a gym leader, I can do it pretty well.
RP Sample:
Sitting in the middle of a gym, water rolling under bridges and in a pool in the middle, was a man with sandy brown hair. The man was sitting cross legged, eyes shut, apparently meditating. A yellow skinned creature, a Psyduck, came waddling down one of the docks, looking across at the trainer sitting on the ground. The Pokemon tilted its head to one side, and a Pelipper landed at the male's side, letting out a loud squawk.
'So much for meditation.'
The male opened a pair of dark blue eyes, looking at the Pokemon on his shoulder. It stared right back.
"Pell."
It spoke bluntly, as was it's normal tendency. All in all, this trainer had three Pokemon, the last one being his Sealeo.
The male stood up, looking down into the pool. The Sealeo was at one side, head out of the water, and looking imploringly at the man.
"Sea? Seeea."
How best to tell him that Dewdrop wasn't coming back?
"Rein? I'm sorry, but Dewdrop's not coming back to the gym. She..."
It was hard on everyone when a Pokemon didn't make it back from a battle. Dewdrop, a Seel, had been a close companion of Rein since the day the man, then only eleven, had picked up Rein as his starter, and then caught Dewdrop. She had been so close to evolving.
"Seal?"
The Sealeo dropped under the surface of the water, swimming away from his trainer. The man shook his head back and forth, frowning. Poor thing.
