She was dressed for work in a pink dress and white lab coat that she had worn when she last left the center. She probably shouldn't have left wearing it as that was all she needed for her lab coat to get dirty. Of course why does she have a lab coat? What type of job does she have? Well she is a pokemon nurse at the pokemon center. In fact that is where she was heading now. It was about seven in the morning early still, but she had spent the night at a friends house after helping him with one of his pokemon who had gotten their head stuck in something and refused to go in their pokeball. Oh that poor Golduck had been hard to calm down, but when they finally did get him to relax it was rather easy freeing his head. Of course by that time it was nearly midnight. So she stayed there for the night so that she didn't have to walk back to the pokemon center in the pitch black.
Anyways as she now walked back towards the center which was still a few miles away she hummed softly to herself. The sunset was quiet lovely that morning, very enjoyable too. It was a little chilly, but she was glad she had taken her coat with her. So she wasn't really freezing and as she walked quickly she was warming up rather nicely. Looking forward she saw the landscape of the city around her and said hello to those people that bothered to say hello to her.

Haven City was peaceful in the morning. The faint murmurs of the city masked Camilla's footsteps as she wandered through the streets, not paying attention to where exactly she was going and not caring.
"That sounds nice... but you're avoiding the subject. How's your dad?"
A Houndoom trotted silently next to her, his tawny muzzle held high and his slender black tail swishing lazily behind him as he followed his trainer.
"I see... no, you're not fine. Stop saying that."
Her gaze was fixed on the cobblestone road as she walked, her deep blue eyes narrowed in sceptism.
"Don't lie to me. I'm not—what? Hey, just because I asked... shut up, it's not like I—ah!" Camilla swore loudly as she accidentally bumped into someone, and the cell phone slipped gracelessly out of her hand and crashed to the ground. Vaughn blinked and halted mid-step, then, without missing a beat, turned around, picked the device up with his jaws, and offered it back to his trainer.
"Thanks, Vaughn. Sorry about that," Camilla muttered into the phone. "... Oh, so you're avoiding me now, aren't you. Fine. Call you later, Kay. Don't make me wait five minutes for you to pick up," she added sharply before flipping the phone closed with a snap. Vaughn whined and pawed at her soiled khaki trousers. "He's an idiot," Camilla grumbled to herself, her free hand darting down to stroke the canine's neck. He whined again, more loudly this time, but she didn't appear to notice. "I was just a bit concerned... he didn't need to go and—I mean, it wasn't like I was—trying to imply something, or—ow! What, Vaughn?"
The Houndoom, having nipped Camilla's hand to get her attention, shot her a withering look and jerked his head towards the person she had crashed into, reminding her that she had some apologising to do.
"... Right. Sorry about walking into you. Wasn't paying attention." Camilla made a move to leave it at that and walk away, but when she glanced up at the person's face, she paused and raised her eyebrows. "... I know you. I've seen you at the Center. Aren't you the nurse?"

She had been enjoying her walk to work. Not really minding others hurrying by her she would go at her paced. She know that the pokemon that the center where in the every watchful eyes of the helpers that where there. She wouldn't have stayed the night if they weren't or if she thought otherwise. Had she realized the lady on the cell phone was coming she would have step a side out of her way, but as it was she hadn't seen her.
Looking behind her she first saw the Houndoom. "Hello there Houndoom. Are you out here by yourself?" She questioned before noticing the trainer on the cell phone. "Oh I see not." She then added in a calm voice before looking at the trainer before the Houndoom nipped at her. She had been about to start walking off on her way to work again when the trainer apologize stopped her.
Turning around to look back she smiled before shaking her head. "No it is alright no harm done." Of course she had forgiven the trainer. That was without say or worry. "Oh yes I am. I just started not that long ago being fresh out of school and all. I am Clairabell." She walked calmly and softly in her normal way as she lifted her hand in an offer to shake. "I know I have seen you as well, you are the gym leader if I am not mistake. You have a beautiful Houndoom he looks so strong and healthy." she added as her eyes drifted down to the dark canine pokemon with a smile on her face.

Calm, collected, and well-mannered. Camilla approved.
"Pleasure," she said shortly, taking Clairabell's hand and shaking it once with her usual firm grip before quickly letting go. "Name's Camilla. And yes, I am the gym leader." Underneath the stoicism, a hint of pride could be heard in her voice; though she had only taken over the position for a short time, she took the job extremely seriously and loved seeing recognition of that from others. Who cared if that could be labeled as cockiness.
At Clairabell's compliment, Vaughn flicked his long tail appreciatively and blew out a few small embers as if assert her words. Camilla couldn't hold back a tiny smile of her own as she reached down to pet her first Pokémon fondly on the head. "Of course," she said. "Wouldn't let my baby be anything less." Although she doted on him shamelessly, Camilla still held her Houndoom at the same standards as the rest of her team when it came to training, and it would be a personal insult to her as a trainer if she allowed him to slack off.
And speaking of slacking off...
"You off to work already?" she asked Clairabell. "Must be busy. You holding up okay?" She wasn't trying to be all nice and conversational and overly concerned. As the sort of unofficial caretaker for the city, Camilla wanted to make sure that one of its integral parts was doing its job well and efficiently.
... And maybe she really did want to know how the nurse herself was doing. Maybe just a bit.
