Scars/Markings: --
General Appearance: Standing at 5'4" and 100 pounds, Alyssa is just about the average size for a girl her age. Her most distinct feature is probably her long, light brown hair. She parts her hair down the middle, and lets her bangs fall just above her eyes in a rumpled, unkempt style. She pulls the rest back on either side of the part in two ponytails, set low and close to the base of her skull. From there, the ponytails fall to her hips. However, the top of her head is rarely seen, but is instead covered by a red beanie with a black, half-pokeball beanie just above her bangs.
Alyssa usually wears a black, sleeveless, turtleneck tanktop and red cargo pants with many pockets. However, she wears long, black half-gloves that stop at her mid-biceps, which make it look like she wears long sleeves. Around her waist she wears a belt to keep the six pokeballs of the pokemon in her party safe on her right hip, and a belt pouch on her left hip that is stuffed full of potions, TMs, berries, energies, rare candies, spare pokeballs (ultra, dusk, net, nest, and even master balls), pokeblocks, etc. Mostly things for her pokemon, very few for herself. She also keeps important items like her pokedex in the many pockets on her pants. Finally, to top her outfit off, she wears brown trainers on her feet.

Personality:
- CHEERFUL/EASY-GOING :: Alyssa is a naturally kind person, but she has failed to make too many friends. She doesnt know why, because it just seems to be right to be kind to people. She is nice to anyone she meets, and even if they are rude to her, she will try to be nice to them. She sometimes flatters others, using small lies to twist the truth around for the better...most often to help boost the self-esteem of some of others that have lost to her. Every day she tries to pick out the positives of what she sees and hears more than the negatives, and though she acknowledges this is impossible at times, she will often reflect on something that has made her happy...like the first time she met Espeon (an Eevee, then), or the time she defeated the Sinnoh champion...the fourth champion she defeated.
- KIND/BENEVOLENT :: She almost always wears a smile, and always keeps a positive mind-set. The only time you wouldnt see a smile on her face was if she was seriously thinking, dead, or fighting the toughest battle she's ever been in. Though she rarely has someone that gets on her bad side, there are a few, and she will still respect them, and not seek out to degrade them morally or esteem-wise in any way. She believes that all people are equal, and that all people are born with an innate humanitarian sense. However, some people choose to betray this sense and use pokemon for evil rather than good.
- LEVEL-HEADED/REASONABLE :: Ever since she was young, Alyssa has always kept her wits and self about her, even in stressful situations. It was odd for someone at her age to be so self-composed and sensible. There are few things in the world that are capable of getting on her nerves, but if there is anything, it would be people insulting her pokemon or few friends, or mocking her self-proclaimed status as a pokemon master. She is easily offended with this area, so they are labeled as a "no-go topics" in the minds of those who are often near her. Though she keeps her temper about her when a discussion about either of the topics, she will quickly deliver a smiley, not-deserved threat to the unfortunate person who mentions one of the topics. However, that being said, whenever someone uses words in a phrase that could be mistakenly directed at her, or taken the wrong way, Alyssa would probably be the one to do so. For instance, if the words "weak" and "pokemon" are in the same sentence or phrase, Alyssa would probably translate that as whoever speaking telling her that her pokemon is weak. Something like this is a prime time that Alyssa would deliver an un-deserved death threat.
- CALM/PATIENT :: Alyssa maintains a calm and professional manner, and seems to always be focused more on achieving the best solution rather than just "defeating other trainers" or "capturing the strongest pokemon" as other trainers have been. Alyssa is calm to an extent where some consider it 'abnormal'. Because of how long she is willing to wait, some of her advisors chide her a bit at how her patience seems to be unlimited, even with the smallest, most annoying issues. To this, she can only grin. She doesnt know exactly why she is so unnerved by people with annoying or pointless arguments, or those that are outright rash in their actions...people who would give anyone else a giant headache. While she is battling, she is all business..no sense of humor, no time seems good to kick back, nothing...just the challenging smile that stays glued on her face.
- CHILDISH :: Despite these qualities, Alyssa often lacks the want to act her age. The only time she will act like a 20-year-old is when battling a serious trainer. Otherwise, she acts much like she did when she first began her pokemon journey, when she was 10.
• I Am What I Own •
Items: She doesnt so much "carry" it as she rides it, but she has an Acro Bike she got from Rydel early on in her pokemon journey. Otherwise, she carries many items (listed above...somewhere...) in a knapsack she carries on her back.Challenger Introduction: Being a trainer requires many things; knowledge, strategy, luck, guts, spirit, bravery, and ability. However, there is one thing that shines above all others: the bond with ones pokemon. If you do not posses any of these qualities there is no way you will defeat me. I have trained for years growing with my pokemon and becoming unstoppable! I am Alyssa of the Elite Four! Let me test the bond with your pokemon! Now, bring it!

• How I Became Who I Am •
Family: Kenichi Akiyama -Father, Pokemon Breeder- Sachia Akiyama -Mother, Pokemon Breeder-
History:
- Alyssa was born to a pair of pokemon breeders, specializing in the "Eeveelutions" in Verdanturf Town of the Hoenn Region.
- For years she was unable to wait until the day she was old enough to be a pokemon trainer. So, to compensate, she often played with her parents' pokemon, especially the young, newborn Eevees. She developed a special bond with one in particular, which seemed different from the rest in that her fur was a bit lighter than the others. On her tenth birthday, that same Eevee was given to her by her parents, and she choose the Eevee as her starter pokemon and partner, rather than the Mudkip, Torchic, or Treecko that Professor Birch, a friend of her father's, offered.
- By the time she was thirteen, she had triumphed over the eight gyms and Hoenn League's Champion, Steven with a team comprised Espeon, her Eevee that evolved during a battle against the Magneton of Mauville's Wattson for her third badge) Gyrados, Metagross, Swampert, Rhydon, and Umbreon. She became well-known throughout Hoenn, and gained the name "Hoenn's Abyss" because of the power with which she battled. The combination of Espeon's Psychic abilities and Umbreon's Dark attacks were said to remind people of the abyss off space - dark and unknowing.
- She spent the next seven years journeying through Kanto, Johto, and Sinnoh, capturing pokemon there (including all of the Kanto & Johto starters), training them, expanding her knowledge, and toppling the Gym Leaders and Champions of those Leagues...even the Orange Islands. She marks her greatest accomplishment as a pokemon trainer (now self-proclaimed master) by remaining undefeated in battle from the ages of fourteen to nineteen, before she became a member of the Star Region's Elite Four.
- In Johto, she spent days following after it from a safe distance after an incredible thunderstorm one night, so it wouldnt suspect anything of her. One night, during a strom, a herd of Dugtrio were on the move in the open plain where the Raikou decided to shelter. The powerful ground pokemon moving below the earth's crust opened many fissures. While trying to escape from the natural calamity, the Raikou was battered by various rocks or pieces of earth projecting up from the ground or sent flying, until it stumbled sideways and slid into a yawning fissure. It managed to cling to the sheer face of the in-ground cliff, but it couldnt gather a foothold to haul itself to safety. Fear that the Raikou would be further injured outweighed the knowledge that it would probably sprint as soon as she helped it, so she ran over to where it was.
- She used Swampert and Lucario, her two strongest pokemon on her belt, to help haul it out once it let her approach. While convincing it to let it help her, she held out a pokeball, stating that she could help if it let her. At the time, Alyssa couldnt have cared less if the Raikou actually understood or not. It vehemently rejected the pokeball, so she simply helped it instead. However, after recovering, she awoke to find the Raikou, which had mainly slept for a day, watching her silently. She stood to her feet and looked the beast in the eyes, holding its proud gaze. She held her hand out to it, as a gesture of peace. After what seemed like an eternity of hesitation, the Raikou brushed its muzzle against her palm, shocking her slightly in the process, before running off, never to be seen again.
- Since then, she has been forging the bond between herself and all of her pokemon, and constantly training her others to a level no lower than forty, and taking on any challenge a trainer has to offer when they enter her midst. She has been told that battling her not only tests the strategy and intelligence of the trainer battling, but also the bond between trainer and pokemon, pressing their friendship to the limits.
