"Alright, go Elekid!"

Lucas had previously released his Gliscor and Seedot, so the only Pokemon left to send out was his newly won electric type. The Pokeball that was thrown into the air made a popping noise, and a white beam emerged from the ball. The beam formed a human-shape, and when the white light dispersed from the shape, an Elekid was in it's place. The yellow Pokemon yawned, outstretching it's arms before looking at Gliscor, Seedot and Lucas.

Elekid walked over to Lucas, and stood by his side. He then turned to the other two Pokemon, and quickly looked the other way, closing his eyes and making a 'Hmph' kind of noise. "Well, somebody thinks there the greatest huh?" Lucas said sarcastically to his Elekid. The Elekid shrugged and cracked it's knuckles, wanting something to hit. He started rotating his arms quickly, and electricity could be seen charging up in it's horns. It then stopped rotating it's arms, and released the Thundershock into the air to show off it's power.

Gliscor watched the Thundershock in awe, and flew up into the sky in excitement. He landed down next to Elekid, and gave him a big grin, which caused Elekid to give Gliscor a snobby look and take a few steps back. <Heya! That was awesome!> Gliscor said with excitement. <Better than anything you can do huh? Don't even answer, I know it is.> The Elekid said rudely. <It is! Show me how to do that!> Gliscor replied, oblivious to Elekid's rudeness. The Elekid shook his head and walked away from Gliscor; to the other side of Lucas.

"Well, I see we're all getting along nicely..." Lucas said with a sigh.

Mankey were known to be very angry creatures, and the one that came charging from behind the group of them was not an exception to this rule. "Maaaaaaaaaaaankey!" The shout that the Mankey let loose was a very ovious challenge- it seemed that the little Mankey was under the impression that the group of them were trespassing on her territory. She chased after Lucas and his Pokemon, shouting random obscenities and challenges.

Lucas quickly looked up and looked around, eyes widened a little bit larger than usual. He had his head tilted into the air, and was focusing on listening for a moment. All of his Pokemon looked up at Lucas, and soon they heard the odd noise too. They were all looking around, but Lucas was still listening. "Where is that coming from?..." He said, confused. Suddenly, he turned around, and pointed at the wild Mankey rushing towards the group. "Look!" He said, causing all of his Pokemon to turn around and stumble back, startled.

Elekid quickly got back up and acted like nothing happened, and walked out in front of the group over-confidently. <I got this!> He boasted, pointing to himself and pushing his chest out. He then stared at the Mankey getting closer and closer, and was ready to attack. Gliscor shrugged, and flew up into the sky to watch from a different angle. Seedot gave Elekid a stern, annoyed look, as he wanted to be the one to battle first. He sighed, sat down, and shook his head, hoping this Elekid would be able to handle himself.

"Alright then Elekid..." Lucas said. He was a little skeptical about his Elekid, as this would be his first battle with him. But now wasn't the best time to be worried about that, as there was an angry fighting Pokemon coming at them fast. "Alright, go! Use Low Kick then Thundershock!" Lucas commanded, pointing at Mankey. Elekid started moving his arms in a circular motion to charge up electricity, then charged at the Mankey when the charged electricity was visible in his horns. At the last second, the Elekid's foot glowed a bright white and he ducked down and went f or a sweep with his foot. Weather he tripped the Mankey or missed, he would continue sweeping his foot until his horns were pointing at the Mankey, and he would release a Thundershock.

The poor wild Mankey was punished right from the start for her angry actions. The Elekid's combo worked very well on her- she tripped and fell flat on her face, and then was hit pretty hard with the Thundershock. The Mankey quickly scrambled back up to her feet, and then glared viciously at the Elekid. The wild Pokemon was absolutely livid. Though she had taken quite a bit of damage, this wild Pokemon was an experienced battler. She was more than ready to give this Elekid a run for his money.

The Mankey began charging up with a Focus Energy attack, keeping her narrowed eyes on her opponent. This narrowing of the eyes was her subtle way of using a Leer attack, which hopefully would not only lower the Elekid's stats, but also keep him from attacking her while she was charging up. Then, as soon as she felt that she was ready, she jumped nimbly up and over the Elekid, landing behind him, and then crouching down and swinging her foot agilely against the ground- a Low Kick, just like the Elekid had just used against her.

Elekid was frightened by the Leer, lowering his defenses. However, he couldn't let the others know this, so he sucked it up and held his head high, pretending the Leer had no effect on him. 'Wow, Elekid is strong. To be able to resist the effects of Leer, that takes much determination.' Lucas thought in his head. Lucas waited patiently for the Mankey to make a move, while Elekid was jumping from one foot to the next, punching the air in Mankey's direction to mock him. <Your not gonna win, you might as well go back to your mama now.> The Elekid said rudely.

The Mankey then quickly jumped over Elekid, and was about to sweep him onto his back from behind. "Elekid, dodge with Quick Attack!" Lucas called out. Right when Elekid was about to be knocked onto his back, he disappeared in what seemed to be instantaneous transmission{teleportation}. Elekid the appeared behind the Mankey, and seemed to be teleporting closer and closer until he would ram Mankey with his shoulder with a Quick Attack.

This would be one of those moments in the Anime when Pikachu looks like he's telporting closer and closer to the enemy and then BAM! XDD}

The wild Mankey was hit on the upper arm with the Elekid's Quick Attack, and she was pushed sideways a bit. However, she reacted very quickly. Once again, she started her turn with a Focus Energy. After she felt like she was all charged up and ready to burst, she charged forward, faked an attack to the left and then jumped to the right and attempted another Low Kick attack.

Elekid started whirling his arms in a circular motion, electricity could be seen charging in his horns, and when he stopped moving his arms there was a lot of electricity in his horns. Now he was just waiting for Lucas to say something, and for Mankey to finish focusing his energy. "Just hold it, Elekid!" Lucas called, clenching his fist as he saw that Elekid was struggling, as Elekid in general couldn't hold that much electricity. Elekid clenched his fist, and let loose a loud "Elekiiiid!".

Finally, the Mankey looked like he was about to attack to the right, so Lucas called it. "Thundershock, let's go!" The second Lucas called Thundershock, Elekid released all the energy he had stored up. However, the Mankey then quickly moved to the left, avoiding the attack completely and causing Elekid to fall flat on his face. Gliscor chucked to himself, causing Elekid to get furious and almost shoot a Thundershock at Gliscor before he realized it wouldn't hurt him anyhow. So he clenched his fist, angry that Mankey had actually managed to hit him. He started whirling his arms again, but more electricity was charging in his horns. <Your done now!> He yelled, much more electricity charged in his horns.

"Alright, Thudnershock!" Lucas said. Elekid sent all the electricity towards the Mankey, twice as much as normally due to his rage. However, the attack made him tired, so he knelt down on one knee and took a short breather after he sent that attack. Seedot was watching from the sidelines, bouncing from one foot to the other, really wanting to battle. Gliscor was clapping his claws, happy Elekid got right back up and gave the mean Mankey what he deserved. Lucas smiled and nodded, waiting to see the status of the Mankey.

The Mankey was too busy mentally praising herself for that brilliant move to really react very quickly to the Elekid. The saw the Thundershok coming her way just a bit too late- and though she tried to dodge, the Thundershock hit her dead on, knocking her backwards. She struggled to her feet, stumbled forward for a few steps, and began using Focus Energy again... but then her body collapsed from the pain and the exhaustion of the battle. She fell onto her back, fainted.

Something rolled out of the wild Mankey's paw when it fainted... An Oran Berry, free to the victor.

The moment the Thundershock hit the Mankey, everybody knew that that Mankey was finished. It tried to use another Focus energy, but it was in too much pain so it toppled over. Elekid was looking down, still knelt on one knee when he heard cheers from Gliscor and Lucas. He looked up to see what he had done, and he quickly got up and held his head up high, proud of his accomplishment. He then started whirling his arms for another Thundershock, but he almost fell over. "Wow, that last Thundershock took a lot out of you." Lucas commented. Elekid huffed, and raised his fist into the sky. <I'm the strongest Pokemon ever!> Elekid yelled. Seedot and Lucas rolled their eyes, but Gliscor was clapping and cheering Elekid on.

Lucas walked over to the fainted Elekid and picked up the Oran Berry. He took his book bag off and placed the Oran Berry in one of the pockets, then he put his arms back through the straps, and walked back to his Pokemon. "Alright guys, how about lunch to celebrate Elekid's victory!" Lucas said with a smile. <Yeaaa!> Gliscor said, raising his fist in the air. Elekid stood there with his arms crossed. <Of course. I do deserve it.> Elekid said proudly. Seedot just nodded his head, and Lucas could help but laugh at his Pokemon.

~Timeskip: A few days

Lucas scratched his head as he walked down to the same spot he had won the battle with Mankey a few days ago; his Corphish was right by his side. "Hey, you wanna eat? I got a Oran Berry in my backpack, so if you want it..." Lucas started taking his backpack off, but Corphish shook her head. So, Lucas shrugged and kept walked. Corphish was looking from his left to his right quickly, occasionally turning around and walking backwards. "Are you okay? You don't have a hit placed on you do you?" Lucas said with a confused look on his face. "Corphish Cor!" The Pokemon responded. He then started punching the air, and Lucas nodded. "Ok, you wanna battle. Don't worry, we'll find a Pokemon or two around here somewhere." Lucas started to look around like Corphish, and any onlookers would think something is seriously wrong with them.

Sometimes, during the course of a Pokemon trainer's career, wild Pokemon would appear, and want nothing other than a simple battle. This was one of those times.

A Buizel and a Luxio both seemed to appear out of nowhere, calling out a battle cry in unison. Obviously this was not planned; the two wild Pokemon glared viciously at each other, both of them angry at the other for trying to take what they had claimed to be 'their human'. If Lucas didn't battle the two wilds, then they would probably end up battling each other.

Lucas and his Corphish continued to look mentally handicapped as they searched the route for a Pokemon to battle. Lucas even began to make Pokemon noises, and Corphish did the only noise she could do best. "There's gotta be Pokemon around here somewhere." Lucas said to his Pokemon, who stopped and stared at her trainer. "Let's stop for a minute. I just realized how retarded we look." Lucas chucked under his breath and shook his head. Corphish shrugged and sighed, stopping his head movements. "Pokemon will come to-.." Lucas started to say something, but suddenly a Buizel and a Luxio appeared right before his eyes.

"The universe works in strange ways, don't it?" Lucas asked his Corphish. She chuckled, and quickly moved in front of Lucas to guard him. "I know you think you can handle two Pokemon at once, but you can't. Especially considering the fact that these two Pokemon look a lot stronger than you." Lucas then raised an eyebrow at the two Pokemon as he took out another Pokeball from his belt. "Then again, they kind of look stronger than all the Pokemon I have.." Lucas said with a little chuckle as he threw another Pokeball in the air. This Pokeball opened up, and a white beam emitted from the inside onto the ground, forming an Elekid.

Elekid looked around for a moment, and noticed Corphish right next to him. He almost attacked the poor lobster Pokemon before Lucas stepped in. "Elekid, she's on our side. She's the newest edition of Team Lucas!" Lucas said, a wide grin stretching across his face. "Hmm..Team Lucas. I like the sound of that. Alright, let's go Team Lucas!" He said, pointing at the Luxio and Buizel. Elekid went with it, thinking Team Lucas was the strongest team ever. Elekid pointed at the Pokemon in an identical fashion to his trainer. Corphish looked at the both of them, and only shook her head.

"Alright, Corphish use Bubble on the Luxio. Elekid use Quick Attack on Buizel!" Lucas commanded, still pointing at the Pokemon. Corphish got closer to Luxio with his six little legs, then opened both his claws at the Luxio and fired explosive bubbles at the Pokemon. Elekid ran quickly over to Buizel, a white streak following his zig-zag movements. He was whirling his arms as he got closer and closer to the Buizel, going in for a shoulder ram. "Thundershock, go!" Lucas called. Weather or not the Quick Attack hit or miss, Elekid would quickly turn towards Buizel with his horns and shoot electricity at the Pokemon.

(Don't forget to count EXP, including the bonuses that you get from battling wild Pokemon that are higher levelled than yours. ;D And, um, my posts are gonna be kinda short because I'm trying to get a lot of things done right now... D: Sorreh.)

Both of the wild Pokemon were hit with the attacks that were aimed at them; Buizel with the Quick attack, and Luxio with the bubble. It was obvious that the two Pokemon weren't really a team- as they prepared to attack, they kind of stumbled over each other and got in each others way. Nevertheless, they both eventually got around to attacking.

The Buizel had decided to copy the Elekid and use a Quick Attack on him. The Luxio, meanwhile, decided to stick with a good-old-fashioned Tackle attack against the Corphish.

"Yes!" Lucas said with a clenched fist. Elekid shrugged, knowing his attack was going to do damage; because of course he was the strongest. Corphish smiled, a happy look on her face as she let out a "Coorphish!". However, their celebration didn't last too long, as soon the Pokemon were back on their feet and ready to go. "Alright guys, stay focused! We're not finished yet!" He said, pointing at the Luxio and the Buizel. Elekid and Corphish both shook their heads and put their game faces back on, ready to continue this battle.

"Corphish, Harden one claw!" Lucas called to his water lobster Pokemon. Corphish had a confused look on his face at the odd request, but she obeyed nonetheless. She used Harden, but only one claw glowed white, and as she held it out in front of her face the Luxio tackled it. She still took damage, but it was less than normally due to Harden being used. "Now Corphish! Use your free claw to use Bubble!" Lucas called. Corphish opened his free claw right in front of the Luxio's face, and shot bubbles at the electric Pokemon.

"Elekid, Low Kick then Thundershock!" Lucas called. Elekid stood there for a few seconds in a crouched position, whirling his arms and charging electricity while waiting for the Buizel's Quick Attack to get closer. As soon as the Buizel was close enough, Elekid's foot started to glow white, and went for a Low Kick, trying to trip the Buizel. However, Elekid wasn't done just yet. Right after the Low Kick Elekid let loose a wicked Thundershock from it's body, and since there was such little space between the Pokemon the Thundershock would be very hard to dodge.

"Alright!" Lucas called out to his Pokemon. 'We got this in the bag. Things are going our way...let's just hope it stays that way...' Lucas thought while awaiting the status of the two Pokemon his Pokemon were battling.

The poor Buziel had no chance- water against electricity, plus the close range of the attack caused it to be a critical hit. The strength of the electric attack sent the Buizel flying backwards and crashing into the tall grass, completely hidden and most likely fainted.

However, the Luxio wasn't quite down and out just yet. While the Bubble did hit him, it didn't do too much damage- it really just made him angry. So while the Corphish was attacking him with bubbles, the Luxio sidestepped and then tried to Bite the base of the water type's claw.

Corphish yelped her own name in pain. She winced a bit, and shook her head, trying to take the pain. Elekid was puffing his chest out, pointing to himself with his thumb and feeling really cool. He hadn't noticed his battle partner was getting seriously hurt, he was just basking in the glory his mind was imagining him getting for taking out the Buizel. "Elekid! Corphish is in trouble! Use Quick Attack!" Lucas called, pointing to the Pokemon in pain from the Bite attack.

Elekid shook his head at the Corphish first, wondering how she got herself in that situation. In his mind, she was just a bad battler, and now he had to save her sorry behind. He ran at the Luxio with a shoulder ram, a white streak following behind the Elekid in a trail. Should he be successful, the Corphish would be free and she would shake her claw, trying to shake away the pain she received from the painful Bite attack. She would then let out a loud "Coorphiiish!", and give the Luxio a mean glare, showing she was angry. "Alright, Corphish use Bubble and Elekid use Quick Attack!" Lucas called.

Elekid rushed up to tackle the Luxio with a shoulder ram, another white streak following the electric Pokemon's movements. If Luxio were to get hit by the Quick Attack, it would soon be followed up by a barrage of explosive bubbles that would damage it even more. Should the Luxio dodge Quick Attack, Corphish would follow the electric dog's movements, and shoot the bubbles wherever the Pokemon would move to dodge them. Of course, this was all depending on weather or not the Elekid's first Quick Attack hit or miss. Either way the combination of Quick Attack or Bubble would be used, but if the first Quick Attack were to hit the Luxio would be in much, much more pain.
