{Ok, so Lucas, Janessa, and Ito are traveling together. This is a timeskip after Ito & Janessa's gym battle, so they can enter and watch if they choose to do so. Other than these two, and obviously the gym leader, this thread is closed.}
Lucas was standing outside the gym, clenching his fists and looking down. Every time he reached out to push open the doors, he would get nervous and his hand would quickly retract back to his side. Throughout the walk to the gym he chanted to himself "I'm ready. I'm ready. I'm ready" in a certain sponge-like pattern. However, once he got to the doors all of that confidence flew out the window. He was extremely nervous, and for a moment he considered turning around and training some more.
He turned around, and was about to stop walking when a popping noise was heard coming from his pocket. A white beam exited his pocket, and transformed into a Gliscor next to him. Gliscor gave Lucas a stern look, and when the playful, childish Gliscor gave you a stern look you know you were doing something bad. From that look alone, Lucas knew what he needed to do. "Thanks, Gliscor." Lucas said with a weak smile. He patted his Pokemon, then recalled him into his Pokeball before turning around, taking a deep breath and storming into the gym. Confidence raised by his starter Pokemon, he looked around, and noticed a receptionist.
"Hello, I'm here for a gym battle. Is the gym leader here?"
