The world. Was ending. Hell was freezing over and certainly everyone would soon be dead and it would all Katrina's fault. She had lost Dakota. She had decided to go to this damned festival and then she lost her best friend! How in the world do you even accomplish that!? So-- they came to the festival and it was truly something to behold because there were so many people in one place! She had marveled at all the different people, but surely they wouldn't just go on and lose each other! Katrina was walking around frantically. After a lot of walking, and some sore feet, she finally stopped walking at a place called the cosmic club. It was a really nice place, but that really didn't stop her from worrying.
Sure, Pamuya would take good care of her, but it was still terrifying! Katrina worked her way into the outside of the Cosmic Club and sat herself down in a chair. This place, and this situation, was draining her without mercy. She slowly took her small feet out of the boots she was wearing, if embarrassed, but if her feet didn't breathe soon she was going to throw a fit. There was something about being bound in something like boots-- while practical, she hated them. She honestly wished it was safe to walk around barefoot, but of course it wasn't. She slowly pressed her toes against the ground, letting it bend so the soles of her feet were in the air. It felt so nice to have them out for a little bit-- it almost distracted her from the task at hand.
Dakota. Dakota would be just fine. Not for long-- but for a little bit. Pamuya was smart, at least. And Pamuya was strong enough to protect them all. They would be fine if she just rested her feet for a little bit. She looked around, taking in her surroundings. There were a lot of people-- too many people to remember, which made her uncomfortable. Before this-- she had assumed that everyone had the ability to be remembered-- but now she wasn't so sure. She would forget some of the people she was looking at in seconds, and look on to the next one. It was a little bit of an awakening time.
She looked around again, looking at the DJ and the people dancing. Well maybe this wasn't such a bad place to be. She could stay here for a little bit-- and maybe Dakota would follow the music and head over here. If not, she would go and find an officer and ask for assistance. Regardless though, she wouldn't be leaving until she found Dakota. Or Dakota found her. It really was depending on the situation.

So far Takato and Tsubasa had thoroughly enjoyed the festival. They were a bit saddened by the fact that Hinote wasn't able to join them, but had decided that leaving the fire horse inside her pokeball while in the midst of large crowds was probably a better idea anyway. They would just have to make it up to her every day they came here without her. Normally Taka would be seen running around in his motorized roller blades, but today he was simply running around in his shoes and doing his tricks just the same. That was, until he heard the music.
The sound of music always drew a crowd, and amongst them, those who liked to dance. While Takato preferred to live his life in the fast lane, he did occasionally stop to do a little dancing. After all, most of his dancing moves were the same as his air tricks on his roller blades, which meant that it was still pretty much the same. He waited, however, until they played a more upbeat song before he went out on the dance floor to break out some of his moves. The thing about Takato was that he could break dance to just about any song so long as it was at a fast enough tempo.
Once the song started, Takato made his way through to the dance floor and asked a few people to step back a bit. Once he started to go, however, the crowd around him realized what he was doing and gradually gave him more and more space. His stamina was incredible, since he was so used to pulling these tricks one after another while on his blades, but this time he decided that he would take a break after a few tricks to allow some others in to show off their moves. After all, Taka was a party starter, and did his best to try not to hog all of the spotlight for himself.
Now that he had gotten everyone going on a break dancing phase, he decided to take a short break to go get some water. Walking up to the counter of the club that he had found, he ordered a water and simply leaned there while waiting for his water. Glancing around he noticed how many people were gathered around the dance floor to show off, but that there were a surprising amount of people still sitting back, including one girl who was sitting with her shoes off. The boy honestly didn't know what to say or even think about such a sight, so he just kept his mouth shut for now and waited for his water.

Katrina would be lying if she told someone she wasn't one to stare.
Kat was always staring, in fact. Since she had left her small little town, everything provoked staring. Because if she didn't absolutely pulverize with her eyes, she didn't understand. Being a great learner when she watched, she had to stare. It was just how she was built. Now this boy--? She stared for a multitude of reasons. First of all, he had just waltzed in and started... Moving his body in a way that she had never seen before. Again, she would be lying if she said he wasn't fascinating, and kind of strong-looking, and really something she'd never seen before.... Oh dear, she was gushing.
Once he had finished she was actually a little disappointed. It was very entertaining to see him move in his weird-- way of dancing. Katrina herself only knew how to slow dance, and not very well at that. She came from a town of all boys. The one-room school house couldn't hold any sort of school dance based off of that. She had learned from her brothers, actually. When they would take a break from training Pokemon and come home, they would teach her all sorts of things. One night Aro came home and told Dakota all about this thing called dancing, and he taught her the simple moves. She didn't even know this way of-- dancing. But it was so spectacular.
Katrina had followed him over to the counter with her eyes, watching his movement, trying to figure out what it was. When he looked over at her, their eyes locked for a half of a second, and Kat looked away. Feeling awfully lonely at this point, Katrina pressed the button of her Pokeball in a split second, and in a flash of red, her Sneasel came out. Skylar shuffled and wound up on Kat's lap, observing the people dancing. He swung his feet happily, letting out a "Snneaaa--" whenever he found fit.
But Katrina couldn't focus anymore. She needed to talk to that boy. Leaving her shoes behind-- no one would take that -- she stood. Skylar looked around, confused at first over the sudden movement, but then taking his usual place clinging to her back. Katrina had become aware that Skylar was a very clingy Pokemon, but she actually enjoyed that aspect of him. It made him very easy to keep track of-- because if she didn't feel him clinging to her somewhere, she knew he was missing. She started walking in this-- boy's direction and looked right at him. He would be able to see her intentions without much thinking.
"Hi." She started it off with, smiling in a friendly way, "I was just wondering what-- what you were just doing is called. It's amazing, I've never seen anything like it." Kat was really gushing now, almost as if she was talking to a celebrity, "You see-- I grew up in a really small town and I... Don't even know what it's called. I'm just-- I'm really curious.

It didn't take long for Takato to get his water, and it took even less time for him to gulp it down in only a few seconds, leaving nothing but the ice. The cold liquid felt good going through his hot mouth, then down his throat into his stomach. He felt a bit of a cold rush to his head after having swallowed so much ice cold water so fast - it was like a brain freeze, but with water, and not as intense. With a loud 'Ahhhhhh' he put the glass back down and shook his head to try to rid himself of the freezing cold feeling he had just given his head. Common sense would have told him to drink it slower, but Taka had a bit of a thick head when it came to things like that.
Just as he was debating on whether or not he should ask for another one, he heard the distinct sound of a pokemon being released from it's pokeball. He immediately looked over to the girl who wasn't wearing any shoes and noticed a sneazel practically crawling up her legs. At the same time, his own pokemon, a pidgeotto by the name of Tsubasa flew down to perch on his shoulder, his keen eyes sharp and fixated upon the newly released pokemon. Though Taka never really liked making his pokemon fight, he had to admit that Tsubasa was more inclined to battle than his ponyta.
Ordering a second, he asked for some in a bowl so as to make it easier to give to his parched pidgeotto. After all, Tsubasa needed a drink as well after having flown around all day. Just as the two were taking in their water, more slowly this time, the girl seemed to have gotten up to talk to him. He listened to her question before smiling with a bit of a chuckle. "It's called break dancing." he answered simply. "It requires a lot of upper body strength as well as flexibility. It took me at least three years of practice before I could even do some of the simpler moves - though getting into roller blading helped me build up my cardio and stamina a lot as well." he continued on, not even thinking about whether she even knew what those were as well. That was the thing about Takato though - he never thought before he spoke, he just said the first thing that came to mind.

She observed the boy quickly, taking to her habit of getting to know people without actually knowing them. She just hated not remembering people, after all. What with living in her small town. He was easy to remember, though. however. His quick personality, his additude, and he was obviouslly caring. Though that Pidgeotto very obviously wanted a piece of Skylar, she wasn't so keen on batteling. Even headstrong Kat knew a lost battle when she saw one. She smiled at the new boy, making sure her Sneasel was secured tightly to her back. The Pokemon definitely was looking for a fight, and Kat didn't want that right now. Oh no, she wanted a dance instead. Break Dancing? She's swear it sounded like a death trap, but her level of curiousity was beyond helping.
"Break dancing?" She listened very closely to everything he said, but somehow, she felt slightly intimidated. The way he explained it made it very obviously that she wouldn't be able to pull it off but otherwise, it was really interesting. She smiled at a few things, but it really left her more confused than before. She didn't know what roller blades were, either. But that could be saved for another time, "Well, first of all, my name's Katrina," She paused, offering her hand and smiling, being the polite girl like her older brothers raised her to be, "Thanks for explaining and all but none of that made sense to me." She laughed a little now. However polite she was, she also let herself get away with her mouth.
At that point, a much softer song came on. It was a bit slow, but the violins swelled and fell rather softly. She smiled a little, "Wanna dance?" and asked a simple favor. Dancing was always something Katrina enjoyed and-- more than often-- was forced into. When school dances came around, she was one of the only girls. If not the only. Things could get kind of pushy for a dance. So, she had gotten used to it and taken a liking to dancing. She wasn't half bad really, but she merely went through the motions. At that moment, she felt very aware of Skylar clinging to her shoulder, but that wasn't too big of a detail. After all, why not give the Sneasel a ride?
