Emperor Claudius Augustine Sovereign VII
"It is my right to rule here. All outside my blood shall kneel before my Sovereignty!"
Theme Music: Dance of Illusions (Castlevania)
• Labels Do Not Define Me •
Name: Emperor Claudius Sovereign
Age: 26
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Status: Leader of The Order
• On The Outside Looking In •
Hair: Black, Medium Length
Eyes: One blue, one white (blind and under an eye patch
Scars/Markings: He has a little bit of burn scars around the area of his eye-patch. Apparently from an accident with his first Pokemon.
General Appearance: He is tall, handsome and elegant. This is the commonplace of all nobility lest they become one of them. Perfection is not only an absolute but a necessity. His clothes are perfectly sewn, his cleanliness immaculate, and any servant that he can not trust to keep him such is sent to work for House Malaise who prides themselves on their abuse. His house color is Purple, and is often seen wearing this color with whites or blacks, depending on his mood.
• There's More Than Meets The Eye •
Likes: Women, power, glory, intelligence, and a secret passion for Mocchi Ice cream.
Dislikes: Failure, peasantry, unruly servants,
Strengths: A wise leader unlike most "Team" leaders. His plans to conquer are more than just "steal Pokemon". No, his plots are structured and require critical thinking to crack.
Weaknesses: Intolerance for failure, to the point of losing his temper and making mistakes. He does not forgive failure kindly, and will even kill a Toad for botching a critical mission.
Personality: He is literally the best of the "loved and feared" argument. To his own, he is a good ruler even if he's stern. There were poor, but none in poverty in his kingdom as everyone had a place, even the diseased and maimed. Even children were not excused from harsh punishment, and he even once cut off a child's finger for stealing. Because the child was able to tell the Emperor truthfully what he had done and understood why he had to be punished, it was a finger instead of a hand. He believes all people need to be unified under a ruler and since even his own people agree that he is a good one, he will conquer the world to bring it his own version of Order.
• I Am What I Own •
Items: Though technology reigns supreme in this day and age, his insignia ring and family sword are on his person at all times. His weapon of choice, however, is his Pokemon... his most faithful of servants.
Pokemon: Technically all Pokemon used and caught by the order are his by Divine Right, but his own team are hand picked, not for their power... but their loyalty. All would die for him, even if asked to kill themselves (as in the event of the kingdom falling and not being allowed into the hands of an enemy). They are his confidants and retainers... something not even the leaders of the Lower Houses can boast.
• How I Became Who I Am •
Family: Emperor Claudius Sovereign VI (Father, deceased). Empress Mother Lydia Sovereign (alive, currently ruling the country while her son is out getting their land back)
((The two lords of the Lower Houses are related to him too, and whomever gets them can have fun with them. I will even allow normal players to be distantly related for kicks and story))
History: The Caesari Region... a small region who had still been using the old Monarchy rule even into the technological age. It had been the neighboring region of the wasteland to the west for centuries, and after the meteor collided it was hoped that the Region would expand. Over time, people from different lands took occupancy of the new land... and never bothered to inquire who it might rightfully belong to.
Emperor Sovereign VI had tried to negotiate things through treaty and trade, but over time it was obvious that those who had come to the fertile land had no intention of using the old ways to govern them or the Pokemon wandering the land. Knowing his days were few, he bided his time and collected the riches of his land to create a fortress of power which could conquer the land and restore it to the Monarchy. Though he did not drain his people to starvation, he made life quite hard on his subjects. With the finished fortress high in the sky, three days later he passed away.
Wise enough to know that his people had been taxed for a generation, he lifted a few of the taxes which had burdened them for many years. Rather than giving everything back, however, he made life much better for Pokemon to be part of the military. The taxes on food and life for Pokemon were still in effect and many of his citizens were forced to draft their Pokemon into the army in order to feed their families well. If a Pokemon did well, however, their family would receive a percent payment for their deeds... so it was not a total loss.
With the hope of a new land on the horizon, the Caezari Region is amiable to their Emperor despite his stern edicts. For if he can capture the land which was meant to be a part of their own, then life could flourish for everyone.
Other: Yes, he's a bad guy trying to enslave the land, but he's not a complete punk.
