Jacob • "Paradox" • Eiley
Play By:
The worst tragedy for a poet is to be admired through being misunderstood.
• Labels Do Not Define Me •
Name: Jacob "Paradox" Eiley
Age: 29
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Uninterested
Status: The Order; House Malaise
• On The Outside Looking In •
Hair: Black. Messy and Untended, medium-length.
Eyes: Yellow-Hazel; Almond-Shaped
Scars/Markings: None
General Appearance:
Paradox stands at about six feet one inch tall, standing over the average male height. His body, however, is frail and small. He is far too thin, weighs way less than he should, and has almost no muscle. He has long, skinny legs and long lanky fingers. His hair, getting more in depth, is unattended to in all matters. Even washing. Thus it grows unruly, to a state of disrepair. It grows down to about the middle of his ear, where it just stops growing. Paradox theorizes that it is some kind of disorder. His forehead is strong but small, proving to be nothing more than a shadow behind his hair. His eyebrows are thin and dark, matching the color of his hair. His eyes are a yellowish-hazel, and are almond shaped. They are big and extreme, almost like an owls. His nose is short and crooked, and his ears are rather small. His teeth are unattended to, black and broken. His smile is confused.
However, nobody would be able to see these hideous traits, as he hides himself behind a mask that looks like something out of a Mardi Gras party. The rest of his body is covered by a padded, white cloak. The cloak makes him look normal, it makes him look like he is not extremely frail. His hands are covered by black leather gloves, and he has purple work boots. He is a surely shocking sight.

Personality:
There is no good way that Paradox's personality can be put into words, but I'll give it a go. He is alienated from the world, and doesn't like conversation. He doesn't like family, he doesn't like friends. He likes being alone, or with his companions. He is estranged, people say, and cannot think correctly. That is untrue, he is actually a genius. He approaches problems with an extremely thoughtful manner, taking time to do things, not rushing into problems.
There are no actual names for the disorders he carries, so I'll try to explain them the best I can. His memory, at some times, is unacceptable, rendering his brain useless. He has extreme short-term memory loss, and can mix up two things and it will stick like that forever. His eyes send incorrect signals to his brain, causing his eyes to see things that are not there. They are called hallucinations. Sometimes he finds that he is not able to speak words, or form complete sentences. He would stop in the middle of a sentence for no apparent reason. He fears almost nothing, incidentally, but is paranoid all the same.

Family: His father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Eiley, were killed. By their son. Paradox.
History:
When Mrs. Eiley was 22 she was hit by a car while walking. She suffered no permanent injury other than a broken pelvis. It healed up over time, or so they thought. She got pregnant at the age of 24, and was giving birth at the age of 25. Jacob Eiley had come into the world with severe brain damage, Mrs. Eiley had left the world due to bloodloss.
Mr. Eiley always did one of two things. He loved his son, and he hated his son. His son was a murderer, but his son was his kin. He did not know how to approach his son, the killer, nor did he know what to do with him. Jacob himself did not have any learning impairs, the non-damaged parts of the brain learned how to go into overdrive to make up for the useless brain he has. He was estranged from his father, so he grew up by himself. He taught himself how to read and write, and found the concept of both quite easily. He taught himself mathematics using books and blocks, and was learning basic algebra at the age of ten. He was not sent to school, not even high school. His father didn't want him killing any more, even though deep within his head he knew the idea was ridiculous.
Jacob, at the age of twelve, began to suffer many of his disorders. He didn't like them, he became insane. At the age of 12, Jacob was no longer Jacob. He was Paradox. Paradox didn't like Jacob's father. Paradox killed Jacob's father with an axe.
Paradox ventured into the woods where he decided to live. Jacob died out in the woods, Paradox did not. He lived and prospered in the wild, learning to hunt pokemon for survival and use fallen trees for shelter. He was smart, he was very smart.
When Paradox was 6, the late-Jacob would have been 18 if he had been alive, he ventured out of the woods. He found no home, nor asylum, nor one person that welcomed him as a fellow human being. But, as the time rolled by, Paradox heard more and more of this "Order". Finally finding it, he was accepted. Accepted, finally! He decided right then and there that he would devote himself entirely to it's cause.
Other: Nope.
