General Appearance:
Dressed in regal attire most the time, he comes from a wealthy family and doesn't try to hide it. In fact, his family is noted to be the owners of Clarity Industries, the forerunner of Pokedex Application Creation and Marketing in the Star Region. Because of this, he has a company uniform he wears sometimes when feeling nostalgic of his past. He stands confidently at 5'8" and has about him an air of regality. Even so, he tries not to act like the spoiled rich kid he was brought up as. He's found his calling as a Pokemon Breeder and Tamer. He worked around Poke Centers for a time before starting out on his own quest to run the most successful Pokemon Daycare and Farm in the world! He stumbled upon the Hajime's some times back when Ito was just starting on his adventure and took over Blaze Hajime's business. He felt back about just taking it, but the man insisted, saying he had no use for the place anymore. Since then, it has been under Ryu Hasegawa's supervision. He's created a work uniform for those who he's hired as helping hands around the place. He has a semi-muscular build and looks very handsome. He's modist and doesn't like too much attention, but the women seem to flock to him anyway. I guess it has something to do with beeing a breeder..?

Personality:
Family Troubles caused a rift in this boy's perception of the world. He thinks that all families are distant, always working, never able to spend more time with each other than cohorts at work. Ryu vowed that he would never go back to his father for help. His time living under the man's roof taught him that he couldn't depend on anyone but himself to get things he needed done and that no one would be there to look out for him if he were to fall. He grew up having everything, yet wanting the simplist things most families have. A relationship with the parents. Ryu is a confident young man who is able to handle most anything on his own. He's learned how to take care of pokemon and people through his own inquisitive nature, he's learned how to take care of eggs and pokemon wounds through his time at the Pokemon Center, and he's currently learning what it takes to run a Pokemon Daycare/Farm. The location makes it an Ideal place for new trainers to come to in order to get pokemon and a good place for Starting Pokemon to be bred and raised until the professor comes to pick them up for the selection process.

History:
Growing up in a fairly normal houshold, there isn't much to tell in the way that Ryu was raised. His father and mother were never home and he constantly looked out for Jenny, his younger sister. From a young age, he was playing father to her where Yoshi didn't have the time. The siblings were close, one another the only people they had. Ryu grew up with an interest in learning how to take care of others while his sister was more involved in learning how to battle the pokemon he was taking care of. He would always make such a fuss that pokemon weren't there to fight, that it was important to make sure they were healthy. Then again, the pokemon seemed to enjoy fighting, like it was part of their nature. Listening to each pokemon was the trick to being a good breeder, and this was something he learned at a young age.
When he was seventeen, he took off without a word to anyone save for his fifteen year old sister. SHe understood and left home as well, the pair going their seperate ways reluctantly, promising to keep in touch with one another when they reunited somehow. Ryu's travels took him to a Pokemon Daycare at the foot of a mountain. It was a small, quaint place which had no pokemon of its own. It was there for travelers who chose to breed or needed someone there to tend to their pokemon. It was a convenient place out in the middle of nowhere and needed a helping hand. Rather, the owner, a Blaze Hajime, gave him the Daycare after hearing out Ryu's history and his desire to raise pokemon as a Breeder. He had the qualifications and would be able to do much more with the land than Blaze could... and there was something the old man had to do. Not that it mattered to Ryu, he was finally in charge of his Pokemon Farm!
Thus, Cosmos Daycare and Farm officially opened!
