Satomi is slightly small for her age and naturally pale. She stands 5’1” tall and weighs around 103 lbs. Her violet hair is cut and layered short with it longer around her face while shorter and spiky in the back. Satomi’s eyes are darker hued than her hair with the darkest part being around her pupil and gradually getting lighter as it goes out. However, only one eye is visible. The other, her right eye, is hidden behind an eye patch.
She normally wears a tan pleated skirt paired with a matching long sleeved shirt that exposes her stomach. The shirt collar comes up high and covers her neck. It has eight buttons on the front that are divided into two columns with a dark tan band of fabric lining the sides of the buttons. On the end of her sleeves are two bands of the same dark tan fabric. Satomi wears black high heeled boots that come up right underneath her knee. Satomi covers her blind, unusable right eye with an eye patch decorated with a metal skull. The area around her right eye is scarred, resembling a scar from getting burned.
Personality:
Nearly everything is hidden behind a smile with Satomi. She finds that if she just pretend to be happy, she won’t feel as down when something bad happens. Satomi has a tendency to be pleasant and accommodating in social situations. Even if she is treated poorly by a stranger, Satomi will flash a simple smile and compliment them on what ever she sees appropriate. Satomi is too trusting of people. She likes to believe that everyone is honest and trustworthy. She is the least courageous out of her family. Her fearful side can sometimes get the best of her when faced with an opponent or obstacle by herself. She is often jealous of other people, whether they are her teammates or a random stranger.

Satomi grew up in a rather average household. Her father, an avid trainer, was often away usually training his pokemon while her mother was a stay-at-home mother. She was the middle child with an older sister who, like their father, was always traveling and a younger brother. It was a rare instance when her sister would drop by for a visit, normally only on birthdays and other special occasions. Because of her constant absence, Satomi never truly bonded with her sister and came to consider her to be more of an acquaintance. Though only a few years younger than her, her brother and her became inseparable.
Around the age of 12, her sister dropped by for a visit. She was careless in nature, commonly completely forgetting to do something or choosing to wait until the last minute to do it. The first night back, her sister forgot to turn off their oven before going to bed. The overheated oven soon caught a nearby towel on fire which led to most of the kitchen to become engulfed in flames. Everyone in the house managed to get out alive, with only Satomi and her brother sustaining injuries. Her brother was only singed on his right arm, while Satomi's injuries were more major. While trying to get to the front door, part of the ceiling fell to the floor sending hot ash and partially lit debris to hit her right eye. When it was all over, she was left with a terrible scar from the burn and only one usable eye. Two years later once she fully recovered, Satomi set off to start her own journey as a trainer. Though she has to adjust to using only one eye, she doesn't feel any anger towards her sister merely stating that her sister was careless and hoping it taught her to be more careful.
