Kazai is a rather dainty looking girl as is evinced by her small figure and her pink hair. She stands at 5'5" and she weighs 121LBS. Katsura has dazzling green eyes, though something a lot of people don't know about her is that she wears contacts. On casual days, she will usually wear her hair out long and allow it to flow freely. Her shiny pink hair so long that it extends past the small of her back. Her attire is usually casual. Despite being on the road, she will often wear her old school girl outfit.
Personality:
Kazai's personality is somewhat that of a sadist, especially for someone who seems so respectful. Toward her enemies, she enjoys inflicting pain just simply because it makes her feel superior or stronger to them. She shows this side only when she gets the chance to take part in battle. Whenever it does happen, her pokemon see a side of her they never forget, which makes few of them question her again because of her ability to take charge on the battle field. For the most part, her pokemon are afraid of disobeying her orders. When in battle, she treats her pokemon as subordinates rather than friends or partners. She enjoys feeling as though she is in charge of her environment and surroundings and she hates having her authority question. She wishes to maintain her authority in all situations and will not allow for anyone, be it a comrade or a pokemon, to question it.
On the other hand she is capable of forming bonds with people and pokemon. She can hold those bonds closely to her own heart. She will protect those whom she cares about and will fight to defend their lives. Despite the fact that she is a sadist, her level of comradarie is much stronger than many would expect. She is kind to those whom she cares about as she wants them in her life, although she will go to great lengths to express her dominance. So long as they do not question her authority, she and her subordinates will get along splendidly.

History:
Kazai was born and raised in Storm Cloud City, born and raised. Even from her young age, she aspired to become a pokemon gym leader like her idol, father had once been in his youth in another region. However, unlike many other pokemon trainers, her father was not okay with her leaving home. Rather than allowing her to travel as so many others did, at the age of 10, she was placed into the Pokemon Academy where she was taught a lot about pokemon from text books rather than on field experience.
On the first day of joining the Cerulean Pokemon Academy, she was allowed to select one pokemon she wished to keep. The pokemon she had decided to take was a Gastly. The reason she selected Gastly however wasn't because he was her favorite, but rather because he was the only ghost type pokemon offered at the time. In fact, her particular Gastly was rather slow. Over time however, she came to love Gastly Unfortunately, her classmates would often make fun of her due to her seemingly dimwitted pokemon. Nonetheless, this encouraged the two of them to grow even stronger.
After a few years of training at the Academy she and Gastly were two of the strongest at the academy. A large majority of the students who had been picking at the two of them finally backed down to Gastly and his trainer. She was even able to become the valedictorian of her class and graduated at the age of 14. By the time she graduated, she not only have Gastly, but an excellent understanding of pokemon and training
Thoush, shortly after graduating from the Pokemon Academy, her father became fatally ill. She spent a lot of time with him, but he soon passed away. However, he did leave her with their home so that she would have a place to live, as well as his fortune. She decided that at this point, it was finally time for her to leave with her pokemon and go out onto the road as a pokemon trainer, hoping to one day be as good as her father was a trainer.
Other I know that you guys don't usually approve pokemon at the same time as a trainer, but I really wanted a long backstory with my pokemon and for us to have gone through a lot together. I still plan on giving him rookie stats though. Hopefully this is okay.
