Name: Blaze Ichiro Hajime
Age: 46 years old
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Heterosexual
Status: Trainer
• On The Outside Looking In •
Hair: Raven Black, short, spiked
Eyes: A red-ish color
Scars/Markings: none
General Appearance:
Typically wears dark colors, Blaze may have been as cheerful and as optimistic as his son at one point, however, he has lost the flame of youth and has gotten on in years. He wears a black overcoat over a jet black (slightly darker color) undershirt that fights tightly over his muscular body. He wears black pants and pitch black shoes and socks. On his back is a holster for his gun he always carries. It's a custom made gun which he uses to fire not bullets, but pokeballs. It's a one shot chamber and it doesn't give any bonuses, he's just more accurate with it. It carries the same strength as though one had thrown it or a pitching machine fired it off. Blaze has the rugged look of one whose traveled and the fatherly look of one who cares deeply about something.

Personality:
The father of Star Region. He treats all trainers as though they are his children, even though he knows nothing about them. He won't go around hugging or punishing them how he sees fit, however he will help them progress, attempt to help them become better trainers. He is a personable old man and is one to not like globs of attention. He is somewhat reserved in his words, but tends to speak his mind always with as many words as necissary. He typically doesn't ramble on and on, but he can drive home the point if it seems he's being ignored or his advice tossed aside. Nothing makes him more sad than someone unwilling to listen to him, despite how long he's lived and reject his words as though he were some old coot.
He is confident in himself and everyone can see that. He has a majestic air about him that commands others and his quick wit makes him a natural leader. He grieves the loss of his wife and let the sorrow of her death overcome him once. The light in his son's eyes pushed him to reclaim the life he had forsaken long ago, taking up his old name and starting pokemon from so long ago, Typhlosion, he starts out to rebuild his team from scratch along with the other trainers to test their mettle and prove to him they are worthy to reign as champion of the Star Region.

Family:
Ito Hajime-
Since Blaze's wife died, Ito was the one he turned his affection to the best he could. Quitting the Elite Four, he left his old life, trying to out run his pain by starting a new one for just the two of them. It was a miricle, watching Ito bloom and flourish. Blaze couldn't get pokemon out of his system though, and started up a daycare, keeping pokemon healthy and strong. He watched as Ito's fasination with pokemon grew and he became worried that Ito would leave and he would be left alone. The customers spoke of Blaze as a great pokemon trainer back in the day and Ito started wanting to be just like him. Nothing could have made him happier and sad at the same time. He didn't want Ito to experience the same pain as he did, yet he wanted him to get out in the world to be who he wanted. When Ito was sixteen, Blaze and a friend staged finding a replacement for Ito while he went off to become his own man. It was hard to see his little boy go, but he had taught him everything he could. When his little boy left... so did he... to renew his own dream and to fulfill another. To be relieved of his duty as a member of the Elite Four and step down once one worthy enough stood up to take his place.
Maria Hajime-Blaze's wife who died at child birth. She was a caring person who put her whole heart into everything she did. Blaze met her while she was studying to become a pokemon breeder. She entered contests for her pokemon, showing off... she was good at that! She'd always strut around in whatever she was going to wear the day before her performance, showing everyone she could her new dress! It was little things like that which won Blaze over. Like, the time she baked him a cake for his birthday and burned it. Every smoke detector in the whole house went off and he still ate it because she had put so much time into making it! She had always thought she was a bit of a klutz... which was true... but it was because she wasn't perfect he loved her. When she died, it felt like a scar formed in his heart. He quit being a trainer and lived out in the middle of nowhere near a mountain.
History:Hajime, Blaze... a trainer who started from the Kanto Region and fought his way to becoming the leader of the Elite Four of the Star Region. It was a long and hard road that led him to meet many exotic and rare pokemon. To encounter new and close comrades who would fight with him and for him when he couldn't. To find someone he loved and cherished, someone who he could spend the rest of his life with. His dream was to become the strongest in the world... and he succeeded for a bright, shining moment. When he had stood as champion with his pokemon in the arena... the greatest affermation he had ever recieved in his life! All to come crashing down but two short years later. His wife died during child birth, leaving Ito and himself alone.
It was the same day he resigned as Leader of the Elite Four and hid himself in a small building near the base of a mountain and opened his own daycare center, unable to stay away from pokemon and glimpses of his dream being lived out in others. His son grew up with the same passion of Pokemon, being intregued by the stories the trainers told of their adventures. Blaze was happy Ito wanted to be like him, he was honored that he was so important in his boy's eyes... but at the same time, he had been there and lost almost everything dear to him. He didn't want such pressure and feelings of entrapment forced on his son. Years passed and Blaze kept finding reasons to keep Ito back, to ensure that he couldn't leave yet. For years, he saw his son put on a happy face though the disappointment shone through his eyes. When the boy turned sixteen, Blaze knew there was nothing to be done but send him out to live his own life and to be who he wanted to be. He staged recieving a helper with a friend who was going to take over the business in Blaze and Ito's absense. There was nothing left at the daycare to bind him to one spot anymore, and he was talked into returning to the field.
Sixteen years later, the 'Blaze of the Nova' returned to his rightful place among the Elite Four as the Leader. Some were disappointed having been so close to achieving being the strongest, yet the old man proved he still had what was required of him to reclaim his rightful spot among the Elite. However, he regained his position only to hope one day, someone strong enough would come to take him down. The only question he had was:
When would that day come..?
