SHIRAISHI • KAMIKAZE

Name: Kamikaze, Shiraishi
Age: 18
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Status: Trainer
• On The Outside Looking In •
Hair: Pale Chestnut Grey
Eyes: Deep Oaken Brown
Scars/Markings: N/A
General Appearance: Shiraishi, or Rai as most people call him, borders on the absurdly plain. His slender build stands at the height of 183 centimeters tall and at the weight of 51 kilograms. His hair that pretty much seems like it lacks pigment is allowed to stick out in some form of messy order, giving him that wild and slightly rebellious look that he goes for. The colors that his outlook revolves around are a neat rotation of green, white and brown. On more simpler days where he really couldn't be bothered to care much about his own appearance, a clean, white jacket slips on nicely on top of a green collared shirt as he dons a pair of simple brown jeans. However, though he claims his laziness to give further thought about his attire, Rai always seems to find the time to needlessly bandage his left forearm up as a mere fashion statement. In all situations, however, sloppy is the last thing that Shiraishi will portray himself as. Uptight, formal and poised, the grace he presents himself in rivals that of an aristocrat.

Likes: Pokemon • Battles • Adrenaline • Winning • Cats • Reading • Traveling • Candy Bars • Puzzles • Riddles • Seeing through people • Pushing his Limits • Solitude
Dislikes: Being seen through • Being Tied Down • Being Treated Like a Child • Crowds • Being Left in the Dark • Confusing People
Strengths: Determined • Focused • Mature • Responsible
Weaknesses: Short Tempered • Sarcastic • Arrogant • Vengeful
Personality: As anyone would expect of the oldest son of the near prestigious family of the Kamikazes, Shiraishi walks, talks and practically breathes only with a refined air around himself even when he's trying to be lax except that he lacks the black suit and tie. Under any normal circumstance, Shiraishi is a relatively easy person to get along with. He will open to practically anybody that's willing to do the same. He's indifferent to lacking habits and what's more, the boy has practically no sense of curiosity around him. There is virtually nothing that can get a hold of his interest especially if its mere pitiful gossip. Shiraishi has better things to do than that. In fact, you might go as far as to say that he loathes gossip. Something about disclosing secrets that aren't your own to share really ticks him off for some reason.
Shiraishi possesses a strict personality. He expects the best out of everything, even people, to the point where some might consider him somewhat of a slave driver that asks for the impossible. However, this aspect is truest when applied to himself. Shiraishi would never expect from others what he doesn't of himself. This is especially true in terms of pokemon. Another point of the guy is that he doesn't quite know how to hold back on his tongue. He's absolutely frank, no matter how bad the situation is. His logic is that there is no point sugarcoating reality as it will only come back to bite you eventually. Don't misread him though, he only has others' best interest at heart.
While on the subject on his mouth, Shiraishi really doesn't have a lid on it. He doesn't conceal whatever he thinks nor is it in his nature to 'suffer in solitude'. If he doesn't like something, he'll most definitely just come out and say it. More often than not, though, it's about his own pitiful situation being stuck as the gym leader of Stormcloud. Without a doubt, the thing that Shiraishi looked forward to most was becoming a trainer and going to the league. Be it the sense of humor of fate but you have no idea how disappointed he was when he was told he was to take over the reigns of the gym from his father. Fear not, he did as he was told merely out of the obligation as a son. However, Shiraishi never bothers to conceal his resentment at his current situation as he's normally seen voicing aloud how envious he is of the trainers that pass by the Stormcloud gym.

• How I Became Who I Am •
Family: Father - Eien Kamikaze • Mother - Reika Kamikaze • Younger Sister - Kyoumi Kamikaze
History: Shiraishi was born into the Kamikaze family that ran the Stormcloud Gym since the dawn of time. Because of this, the Kamikaze family were regarded more or less as a prestigious family with a strong financial state to back them up. As a boy, there wasn't much to be said. He was brought up around pokemon, to love them and to treat them as his own. His goal was just like any boy of his age: to become the greatest Pokemon Master of his time. His first pokemon, despite his family running the Electric gym of Star Region, was a dark and ice pokemon called Sneasel of which he nicknamed Shadow. He was, like any other child, ten years old at the time when he received Shadow. However, at the disapproval of his parents, he never left the comforts of Stormcloud to start his journey. Having etiquette and customs drilled firmly into his subconscious, the thought of just leaving even without his parents' blessings was never a thought that crossed his mind, a point of which he regretted till this day.
During the next few years to come, the plan of going around the Star Region to compete for badges was postponed year after year although he was allowed to train his own person pokemon team in the tall grasses nearby the city. Come the age of seventeen, he was mature enough to know that he was bound to help out the family business and as a result, he forfeited his childhood dreams of competing in a league tournament. Perhaps one would view it as the ultimate torture, being the gym leader and watching so many people strife to beat your team for the plain purpose of doing something that you could only dream of. It was true, Shiraishi would never deny it. For a certain period of time, he hated his new found position as the gym leader of Stormcloud. However, it wasn't too long before he found a new way to occupy himself. Instead of being a contender, he'd be the gatekeeper, that was what he thought. To weed out the unworthy and the guarantee only the strong passed without exception. After all, if the trainers couldn't even get past him, they had no business in the league. He still not so secretly held a certain sense of envy and resentment towards trainers allowed to live their dream. He would go at them with no hesitation. The gate was shut.
