Kain is a rather cold and non-caring person to all but his pokemon. Dissmissive and quiet, Kain tends to fade into the background a lot, much to his own liking. He looks up to his father and is very proud of his father's accomplishments in the Pokemon world. He seeks to surpass his father and has made sure he has every possible means of doing so. He is also a very tactical thinker, despite his lazy attitude and individualistic character.

History:
Born into a small family originally from Hoenn, his father originally an engineer and his mother owning a small massage salon, he was rasied to have a stable and productive job. This was until Kain was only 4 months old and his father took up to training Pokemon, catching an Aron and taking it home to show his wife and son. Over the years, Kain developed a love for Pokemon, especially Aron and Lairon.
At the age of four, his family moved to the Star Region to live with Kain's Aunt Paula, a move they had aparently been planning for years. After this, Kain's father decided to leave home with his Pokemon to challenge the gyms and try to become the best trainer he could be and Kain was quick to learn how to train Pokemon, excelling at the Pokemon school and graduating two years early.
At the age of 8, he caught his first Pokemon, an Aron, like his father. Unfortunately, the Aron died of an unknown illness and now resides in a grave outside of his family home. Although most people would grieve over thier Pokemon, Kain continued on his way, not forgetting his first Aron of course, hoping to catch another Aron and train it so that it becomes strong enough to defeat his father's Aggron.
During the time Kain was out at Trainer school and training his former Aron, Kain's mother caught a Ralts, letting Kain help in evolving it to a Gardevior. His mother agreed that she would let him use the Gardevior when he reached a certain number of badges, unless he caught a Ralts of his own. Kain doesn't want to take the Gardevior because if he does, he thinks his mother would be very lonely at home.
After 6 years of studying and plan-drawing, he decided to set out to become the greatest trainer he could be. His journey begins here...
