APPERANCE:
If you put Ebony's appearance in once sentence this is what you would say; a somewhat tall and thin dark-skinned (aka black or African American) girl with long black hair (actually dark brow) and brown eyes. But, to be more descriptive at first glance you would notice her figure and 'girly' features. Like any maturing young women Ebony has developed a women like body fitted with curves and a average-sized bosom. She looks a little fragile, seeing that she lacks bulk that is replaced by lean muscle. This makes her appear lithe and flexible, which she is. Ebony's hands and feet are small, but lack to be fragile and easily bruised, meaning; she can walk barefooted and work with her hands for a long amount of time without any trouble. She stands at a considerably tall height (5'4 feet) and is at a healthy weight (112 lbs) that is normal for a girl her age.
Ebony's skin is smooth and a dark brown tone. Her skin has a few scars here and there due to some incidents that managed to damage her skin. So you may be able to identify a few burns and cuts. She doesn't have any blemishes or unwanted marks on her face due to her constant washing. You could say her skin is almost moist too, but this is only because she applies lotion constantly. Her face is round almost with a somewhat pointed chin. She has a few desirable features, this being her small nose, somewhat thin lips and small ears. She also possesses dark brown eyes. With this someone could say Ebony looks cute even. Her nails are usually long due to them growing quickly. So she usually decorates them with clear nail polish or files down down.
The cloths she wears can be seen as a little tom-boy-ish yet fitting to her personality. She is usually seen wearing blue or black jeans. Her tops can vary but she prefers to have a regular T-shirt and short sleeves, especially on warm or hot days. Ebony dislikes anything to flashy, tight or girly, but she is known to wear tight clothing or skirts and dresses when preforming or doing something in the public light. Ebony wears tennis shoes as footwear, the colors being ether white or black. Her hair can ether be down or in a ponytail. Since she worries over it a lot you can expect different styles to be tried out in the future. Her accessories are simply a plain light blue choker she wears. She is seen wearing it constantly and daily. She has a pair of small glasses she wears too due to her being near-sighted.
PERSONALITY:
Ebony is a light-hearted and cheery character. She has a good attitude and is willing to form bonds and make friends more quickly then others might be. When you first meet her you will notice she isn't at all bashful and is plenty open minded. She might even approach you without hesitation and say 'hi'. Ebony loves meeting different people, interested and curious about people and their behavior. She can seem a bit odd, seeing as she might get random and laugh constantly out of no where. Being easily amused Ebony will often giggle at even the smallest things that were meant to be funny. Some others can see her as a little slow seeing that she sometimes zones out and seems to be stupid and ignorant in most cases. But truth be told Ebony is very intelligent, though she hides it very well. She has plenty of information stored in her brain, and she could easily do well in things requiring a good amount knowledge.
But she finds acting like a 'smart-ass' boring. So instead she acts silly and happy, only acting serious when she is in some sort of bad situation. Ebony dislikes bullies and people who are arrogant and self-centered, not afraid to speak up and insult those who think their all that. She knows how to control her temper but sometimes she just can't help it. If she doesn't channel her anger into something she just gets frustrated and emotional. Ebony is good with relationships but is not experienced in the game of love yet, so she may act a little shy and flustered if she is caught in a certain situation with someone. It's hard to put her down, especially when she is standing up for herself or others. Ebony will try not to say anything lewd or rude so not to be compared with the one who are spitting out any obscene commits.
She doesn't worry over her general appearance. Yes, she worries about her hair seeing that it took a lot of time to grow it out. But that doesn't mean Ebony cares about fashion as much as the average metro-sexual. As long as she looks decent she is satisfied. She hates dresses and skirts with a passion, but if she is acquired to she will wear those type of garments. Her choker, which she wears around her neck, is a very important object to her, and she rarely takes it off. Now, when it comes to Pokemon Ebony loves them. She is interested in them and even studies about different species if she finds them captivating in anyway shape or form. Though she prefers looking at dark-type Pokemon or Pokemon who our found commonly at night. She also is fond toward Poison-types.
She has a fascination with the dark, and prefers to move around in the evenings when the light is fading. Ebony also likes to travel during late hours, loving the feeling and the scenery of the night. She is a person who can be entertained by anything. She prefers music, so she carries around a simple and portable device that she can store music on. Whenever she is taking care of something, a special item or maybe perhaps a Pokemon she always like to make sure it's safe. Ebony can easily be paranoid about losing something and often checks things twice before feeling sure.
HISTORY:
Emona was born to two breeders who had a small farm consisting of different Pokemon. They had plenty of money and often sold, raised and trained Pokemon for others. When Ebony came all her mother's and father's Pokemon were interested in her. Each adored the little girl and often volunteered to watch over her if her parents were to busy. Her brother cared for her too, so she spent some time with him as well. But Ebony preferred spending with her father most of all. So she ended up becoming his favorite seeing that she was the youngest and only girl he had among all her brothers and her step-sister that he adopted. She was spoiled, of course, and often got what she wanted in the end.
Education came from her mother. She was basically home-schooled and taught everything that she was expected to learn at her age. Ebony did well, and made sure to do all the work required. She learned about math, science, language arts and of course, Pokemon. Since her family owned a farm raising plenty of different Pokemon Ebony didn't have any difficulty learning about them. She absorbed the information like a sponge, taking notes occasionally and going to the library. She was a reader most definitely, and spent her time looking at books more then the television and even the computer. So Ebony was exposed to a lot of resources where she could gain knowledge anytime.
As she grew she became more involved with the farm and how it worked. Her father was in charge of training the Pokemon, making sure they got the necessary nutrients and their living conditions were sanitary. Ebony's mom took care of the money, cleaning and managed the garden. Ebony did contribute as well, spending a lot of her time with the Pokemon. She learned how to groom them and make sure they appeared healthy. This sparked her interest about being a breeder, but she wanted to become a trainer instead. Her parents didn't mind her decision, hoping that she had good luck during her journey.
After taking a few classes on training and breeding Ebony got ready or her journey. Her parents constantly asked her if she was going to be okay, and she shooed them away every time or gave them the answer they were looking for. Ebony soon was informed the lab nearest to her had all types of Pokemon she may want, so she studied to types that would appeal to her taste. Being as picky as she would she only decided three out of the bunch. She then went shopping with her mom, buying cloths, accessories, electronics and books. Her mother rummaged through her dresser and managed to find her old choker, giving it to Ebony in hopes that it would give her good luck. After that she packed up and left for the lab.
