Black grew up in the heart of the Isshu Region. Growing up and pretty much being a little Einstein from birth, Black was seen as a future genius. Being smart, you would think that it would mean a lack of friends for Black, but it was the exact opposite for him. People loved him for his wise cracks, fast thinking, and always smart personality. When Black was just around the age of seven, he finally met his soon to become best friend, White.
Traveling through town one day, Black and White bumped heads as they were crossing and immediately had an instant connection of brain, and especially Pokemon knowledge. Together the two got to know everything about everything when it came to Pokemon.
One day however, as the two were traveling, they came upon two rather odd places; Black City, and White Forest. Entering the two different cities changed them forever. To this day they still can't figure out the mystery to the odd emblems they each have; Black bearing a White Ember, and White bearing a Black Bolt. Whatever the case, the two have become very close and have finally decided to begin their journey outside of their own Region, hoping that, by chance, they can find someone who knows what of their markings.

Black is a wonderful chef. Growing up in the Isshu Region, his time at home with his father who passed before he began traveling, taught him all he knew of how to cook. Along with that, Black is very skilled and agile; being able to do things like parkour.

Black has the biggest fear of not being able to help those in need. He wants to be the hero; the one who can leap in before the situation is too dire and save everyone from harm. He always tries to help anyone in need, and when he can't it puts a big burden on his shoudlers.

Black is very confident in what he does, and his healthy and fit body help him do so. He's always thinking outside of the box and is always trying to figure out how to get around a situation with the best results. He's very strong for his age, but he always pushes himself beyond his own limits just to prove himself wrong.
