The Seviper was caught off guard as the pokeball came in contact with him, and a flash of red light swallowed him up. For a moment the pokeball shook and quivered as the pokemon struggled inside, but then a moment later the ball became still.
Kame smiled at the sight and jumped up and down on his toes as he rushed over to pat Fang on the cheek in a rather affectionate manner, still holding onto the pink pokemon, while Pichu remained on his head. "You two were brilliant! Well done." He applauded, smiling brightly as he spoke. He bent down onto his knees so he was closer to Growlithe's level, and patted him on the head gently, smiling at him as well. "You were great Growlithe. Are you hurt though? Maybe we should give you a potion ..." He mumbled.

Fang smirked as the pokeball fell still in silent, but it vanished the moment that Kame patted him on the cheek. He turned to glare murderously at his friend, annoyance clear in his expression. Most people would get punched for a stunt like that, but Kame just got a glare with no real intent behind it. He turned about, and snatched up the pokeball from the ground, clipping it to his belt.
Growlithe seemed torn between enjoying the pat, and attempting to look tough, and people didn't pet tough pokemon! He settled for grudgingly accepting the pats, although his tail twitched in a clear attempt to wag, which he was restraining himself from doing.
Fang approached, kneeling beside the pokemon and holding out a hand to Kame, "Yeah, give me one." He said, knowing that the Growlithe had gotten knocked around a bit, and was probably sore from both that, and being wrapped up, "Are you going to be able to walk alright?" He asked. This was the most concern he'd ever shown for anything before really, other than Kame from time to time, although he tried to hide it when he did. The pokemon was obviously important to him.
Growlithe barked happily in response. Even if it would hurt, he was intent on making Fang proud, and would walk regardless.

Kame knew full well that he got special treatment, and he totally abused that all the time. He simply smiled in response to the glare he recieved and without a word reached into his back pack after setting down the Happiny and hoping that it would not run away, and pulling out a potion which he gave to Fang. He hoped that Growlithe liked him, though by the pokemon's reaction he was not entirely sure just yet. But the little thing was just so damn cute and he wanted to make the little thing feel good about how well he had done.
Speaking of cute he turned his attention to the pink pokemon, and as he sat on the floor beside it tilted his head at it curiously. "What about you?" He asked, "Are you okay?" He would love to take the Happiny with him, but he wanted to make sure that it was okay first and would come willingly. He didn't want to fight it after it had been so cared fo the Seviper.

Fang took the potion, and turned back to Growlithe. Making sure it was open, he sprayed it on each of the pokemon's sides, hoping it would take some of the soreness away. Growlithe visibly relaxed as the moisture seeped through his fur and into his skin. Once he was finished with it, Fang stood and placed it back into Kame's bag to be thrown away at his mother's when they got to Stormcloud.
He turned to look at his friend as he spoke to the little pink pokemon, and his face twisted into a look of disgust, "What is that?" He asked, crouching back down near it, and reaching into Kame's bag again to grab one of their pokedexs. He opened it and directed it at the little thing, which it introduced as a Happiny.
The pokemon seemed quite happy to hear its name from the tiny machine, and immediately scrambled back over to Kame and into his lap when the boy came to sit on the ground beside him.

Kame immediately glared somewhat half heartedly at the look on Fang's face as he spoke, as he was clearly insulted. "I think he's cute." He admitted, his face turning back in a more happy one as a smile spread across it and he watched the little pink creature. It was so adorable that Kame just wanted to scoop it up and cuddle it forever! Just like he wanted to do with Pichu but the mouse just seemed interested in sitting on his head and making him paranoid about getting electric shocks and stuff. That was no fun.
The male practically giggled as Happiny scrambled into his lap and he slowly reached a hand towards it as a show of friendship. "Why hello there Happiny." He said to it, tilting his head. He looked up at Fang and smirked, "I think he likes me!"

"Of course you do." Fang replied, his tone suggesting he expected nothing less from the boy. Kame would so totally go for this type of pokemon. It was irresistible to him, he was sure. Sighing quietly, the male replaced the pokedex in the bag, and rose to his feet. He rolled his eyes once more as the tiny pokemon rushed into Kame's lap, "How can he not?" He asked, "You two are exactly alike."
He stepped back away from the two, turning toward the direction they'd been walking, "Well, I suppose he's yours now. We should get going." The pokemon seemed intent on staying with Kame, and he wanted to get moving.

Kame just happened to like cute things - there was nothing wrong with that! This little Happiny was just adorable though, and Kame already loved it! Plus it was his absolute favourite colour; pink. The Happiny and the Pichu weren't fighting either, which was brilliant, as it meant that the boy could have both his new pokemon out at the same time to walk with him, and there woudl be no trouble. It was clear in his smile that he was beyond happy, and was almost grateful to the Seviper. If it hadn't been chasing the pink creature, he wouldn't have made friends with it.
He smiled brightly, lifting the Happiny and placing it in one of his large coat pockets so that it could peek out as he walked, and then he rose to his feet, pulling the backpack back onto his back and turning to Fang. "How much further until we reach your house?" He was not good. with distances.

Fang was well aware of his friends liking for things like the little pink pokemon, and he'd given up caring about it as well. There was nothing he could do. It was just the way that Kame was. Rising back to his feet, he started back down the path, Growlithe trailing alongside him. He glanced over at Kame as he spoke, then back ahead toward the trail.
"Not too far." He replied, "She lives on the very edge of the city, so that she can have her farm and what not. It's actually right up against the edge of the forest."

Some people thought it odd that Kame was so into girly looking things, but he'd started to like them because of his eyesight. Brightly coloured things were easier for him to see than dull, and dark ones. He really liked Fang from the beginning because of his blonde hair, which also made him more easily distinguihable from a lot of other people. Kame was made fun of a lot, but he'd given up caring now, as he had Fang, and he knew that Fang would look after him. The older boy really was his hero, even if he didn't like the idea of that.
The boy smiled brightly, "I hope she has something nice to eat for us. I could really do with some cake." He mused, "And a cuddle." He was back to teasing the male again, as he always did, but it was so much fun!
