Janessa has never really been considered 'gorgeous' or 'hot' or anything like that. She is more apt to be described as 'cute' or 'pretty', or perhaps even 'beautiful', if it was a good day. She is short, barely reaching five feet in height. She isn't amazingly skinny; rather, her body is full of womanly curves that create quite a fine figure, all in all, and she rather likes to show it off. She hates baggy clothing- she likes to wear form-fitting shirts and comfortable, stretchy pants. And she hardly ever wears shoes. However, she loves an excuse to dress up in formal clothing...

Personality:
Janessa loves having friends and meeting new people and spending time with those that she likes. She has tons of energy and loves getting into trouble with friends. When she is alone, she can be hesitant and insecure. However, when she gets together with friends, she is spontaneous, adventurous, and daring. She can get along with almost anybody, and unless she totally hates your guts, she will try to be kind to you even if she doesn't get along with you very well. And, to be honest, she can't actually completely hate anybody one hundred percent. And she would much rather be with someone that she dislikes than be totally alone.

• How I Became Who I Am •
Family: Mother, father, one older brother, one twin brother.
History:
Janessa is the victim of... a fairly boring history. Obviously its not very boring to her- seeing as she lived through it- but there isn't anything particularly amazing or traumatic or shockingly life-altering that she has gone through.
Born and raised in an average, middle-class family. They were all pretty close, and despite her being the youngest, she wasn't spoiled too much. This was probably due to the fact that she had a twin, and her family couldn't really afford to spoil two children at once. The only thing somewhat abnormal about her childhood was the fact that her family moved around a lot, so she wasn't really able to make and keep a lot of friends. But, she had her family to keep her company. Especially her two brothers, who absolutely adored their only sister, and were very protective of her.
The reason that Janessa decided to start a Pokemon journey was to get away from the instability of her family. Subconsciously, however, she has adapted to the instability, and so now she doesn't really know what a stable life is. If she ever led a truly stable life, she would most likely be bored out of her mind.
