General Appearance:
Kariyu has long pale blonde hair, and almost matching pale skin. His eyes are an ocean blue, and quite void - at times it can appear that he is staring right into one's soul. On most occasions he is wearing a smile, or a cheshire cat grin. Generally he's a happy, bubbly looking person who's simple smile can cheer up even the most depressed of souls.
Being a noble, the man wears quite expensive clothes, and always looks his best, though he does that without wearing suits, for he hates them. However on occassion he has been forced into them by his house maids - who he adores but finds them to be far too doting. It matters not what he wears, however, he seems to always look nice anyway, and the ladies absolutely love him.
The man is tall, about 6 foot or just under, and is rather lean and toned but not large or particularly muscly. Most people consider him to be rather handsome, and though this is true, it's not like he spends hours getting ready. It helps that his skin is a ghostly pale white, giving him an almost ethereal look.
Across the bridge of his nose appears the only mar on his otherwise perfect skin - all he remembers about it is that his father was angry with him one night, and was drunk with a glass bottle in his hand. At some point Kame passed out and when he was awoken by his mother they were at his aunt's house and he was wearing a band-aid.

Personality:
Kame is what most people would call a happy go lucky kind of guy. Ever since he was a young boy he was been the apple in his mother's eye, and a joy to the village he lived in. He was forever laughing and playing with the other children, whenever he felt well enough to do so. He was a very ill young lad, but that barely stopped him from living out his youth.
It is very rare for Kame to get angry, though there have been a couple of occassions. While he seems like the harmless type, he seems to have developed his father's angry streak. However, this ugly side of him rarely shows its head, and otherwise the male is a very down to earth, calm patient boy who likes to have fun and spend time with his best friend and crush, Fang. He is rarely seen without the older boy, and if he is ever forced to part with him, bugs him with text messages and phone calls at every hour of the day.
Kame is always there for his freinds, no matter what the circumstances, and though he is a somewhat shy individual and tends to stray away from confrontation, he would give his life for them and his pokemon. Generally the male is one of the nicest boys to be around, even despite his somewhat strange taste in colours. He's not very masculine either, but he's found that a lot of the girl's find him 'cute' and hang around him. Well, he won't complain.

History:
Kamekai was born into a relatively happy family life with his mother and father. He had an elder brother by ten years, whom he spent all of his time with, despite the older male being somewhat distant. All the same Kariyu took Kame every where with him, though unknownst to the younger boy, this was because Kariyu wanted to get him away from their father. Being so young Kame didn't understand that Kakashi was a drunk, or even what that entailed. Their mother often suffered as a result of his drunkness and from his hangovers, both of which were every night occurences.
Kame suffered to, but for a different reason; he had a very poor immune system and was ill often. This would not stop him from going outside and playing with his friends, though his mother tried to get him to calm down. He was a very hyper child, and it always seemed as if he was high on sugar, but this was a twenty four thing. Constant. There were times however that he was so ill that he could not leave his bed, and his mother would have to look after him, and read him stories about legendary pokemon. He decided, after hearing a few of these stories, that he wanted to go in search of them once the opportune moment arose.
As the years passed, things got worse and worse with Kakashi, especially when Kariyu fell in love and married to a woman named Yumi. Kariyu moved out to live with her in their own house, and Kame was left to fend for himself and their mother. He was fourteen at this point and was beginning to understand the problem with father, but even though he knew the man was a drunk, he wanted to give him a chance, and so he begged his mother never to leave him. She did as the boy asked, just to keep him happy, as she wanted him to leave on his pokemon journey without any worries about her and their home life.
The night before Kame was to get his starter pokemon and leave on his journey, as promised, his father got exceedingly drunk, and when Kame asked him about his days as a pokemon trainer, the man went insane. To this day Kame doesn't know what he did wrong, but that night Kakashi hit him in the face over and over with a glass bottle, smashing it against his skin. The bottle smashed, and while the boy was unconscious and bleeding, the shards and the liquid got into his eyes, leaving him half blind in both eyes. When he woke up he and his mother were at his aunt's, and Kakashi had been arrested for assualt.
After that night Kame was too afraid to leave on his journey, and even if he'd wanted to go, there were a number of things that got in his way. Kariyu's wife was murdered by one of his jealous ex-girlfriends, his grandmother and grandfather were killed in a car accident, his aunt became ill, and his own weak immune system got the better of him. Most recently he heard that his cousin Ashah was the sole survivor of an incident involving their uncle.
However, upon hearing that his best friend and crush was leaving on his own journey, Kame decided to go along with him, as he never let the older boy leave his side for more than a day. This was also and oppurtunity for him to prove that he was capable of looking after himself.
