It wasn’t like the adult to go somewhere without doing his research, apart of this research was to thoroughly investigate and find out what was available and what he needed to do to start his second adventure. This sort of morals also went into the way Kash trained pokemon, back home in Jhoto, he had started his little team of misfits and trained against the wild pokemon at his school. His prize possession was his milotic and now all of his pokemon had been gone. His goal was to re-create his dream team after they were snatched away from him thanks to the academy. This memory was still deeply etched into his brain but he couldn’t use vengeance as a source of power, he needed to rely on his own foundations of peace, unity and strategy to prevail.
From what Kash heard about this region they had an interesting way of giving out pokemon. They had almost every pokemon imaginable but you couldn’t ask specifically for a certain pokemon. You had to ask for your preferable type and they would give you options.
Regardless he walked up to the laboratory and opened the door, it was about noon by now so they should be expecting people to walk in for pokemon, they were the place starting trainers went. ”Hello? I’m here for my first pokemon, I wouldn’t mind either a psychic or ghost pokemon.” he bellowed out wondering where all of the laboratory professors and aides were.

Bored. That was the only way to describe the professor. He had fed the pokemon, checked in on all of them, and cleaned their pens, he had finished filling out and filing papers, and now had nothing to do. It had been a relatively slow day, there weren't even any new trainers to bother him. Well, it wasn't really bothering, he rather enjoyed giving out pokemon.
As the door opened the professor's ears seemed to have perked, or at least they would have if he could do that. At last, a trainer, he thought to himself. "Welcome to the lab" he said, a little too happy about having someone quench his thirst to do something. "You're first pokemon, you say?" he asked really interested. He was stalling and he knew it. "Okay, I'll go get some pokemon for you to choose from," the man had said excitedly.
Sighing the professor went into his closet and looked for the pokemon. "Ah, just what I was looking for." The professor muttered to himself grabbing three pokeballs. As he exited his closet he smiled, sure that the young man was going to be pleased with at least one of these pokemon. Standing a few meters distance away from the man the professor let the pokemon out.

Kash was excited, he loved his pokemon and now in his grasp he could have a Spirittomb, Abra or a Duskull. He loved Psychic pokemon so he gave the professor a smile and responded quickly; ”I would actually love the Abra." Abras were the original psychic pokemon and having one in his arsenal would cause Kash to be one of, if not the contender for being the first pokemon master. In all honesty, everyone knows that the second place winner is the first loser and that was a sad sight to see. He nodded in his approval and rubbed his hands together, what would he name his new acquaintance? Names began slamming themselves into him but he needed the perfect name. “Zeo” he spoke aloud, it sounded a little off but it was unique and psychic pokemon were anything but normal.
He kneeled down and looked into the psychic pokemons eyes, he could hear fragments of words but they needed to bond first before they could create conversation telepathically. "Do you we get items too ooh and a pokedex? Goldenrod is my favorite color.” he stood back up and waited for the professor to see if he would get his first partner.

The professor waited patiently for the boy to finish deciding. It wasn't like he had very much to do today anyways. In fact, he was the opposite of busy. That wasn't a good thing at that point though. He wanted to do something. When the other man left Charlie was going to go back to being bored stiff. Maybe I could have a nap... he thought to himself.
Hearing the answer at last the professor nodded. "Here's the pokeball for the Abra." He said holding out a red and white ball for the other man to grab. The man smiled noticing that the pokemon already had a nickname. It would be interesting to see what kind of adventures the two would have. A psychic type as their first pokemon was always interesting. Psychic types were most often really in tune with their trainer as well as their team. Abras weren't always the easiest to start out with, partially because the only move they can learn is teleport, but also because some of them tend to be lazy. Whether or not it was lazy, it did have another move which Charlie had taught it himself. At least the trainer wasn't at too much of a disadvantage, though neither the professor, nor the trainer knew what type of hidden power the pokemon had.
Finally being snapped out of his trance, the professor nodded. He did have to give everyone their items. "Alright, follow me," he said with a smile. The man walked over to a desk and began fumbling with the drawers. When he finally got all of the items out of the many compartments he smiled. There was one last compartment to go through.[color=666666 "So, you said goldenrod, right?" The professor asked going through the last drawer. This drawer was a mess, but at least he knew what he could do after the trainer left. Clean. Finally, after digging through the drawer he found a yellowish coloured pokedex. He put that on the desk for the other person to pick up.
You Have Recieved: Pokeball x5 Potion x5 Full Heal x4 Town Map x1 Pokedex x1 Berry Bag x1 TM Case x1 The man was probably going to run out of the lab like all of the others before him, and the professor wasn't one to stop any of them. He enjoyed their facial expression and the way that they wanted to take on the world. "I hope you have a great journey." the man said with a smile, as he bade the new trainer goodbye.[/blockquote][/blockquote]
