The Professor was reluctant to answer, and stood in silence for a moment or two when the girl indicated she would like the Ralts. "I'm not sure I can do that. He has been rejected so many times, the poor thing, because of his muteness. I don't know if he could handle being rejected again..." she sighed with sadness in her tone.

She looked down at the Ralts, and then back to the girl. "Are you sure no one of the other pokemon here interest you?" the professor questioned once more. Ralts "Ralts needs a lot of care and attention, he has his own unique conditions and I'm not sure that you would be the best match for him. Please don't be offended, I just perceive you to be more of an outgoing person than perhaps Ralts needs..."

"Or maybe you could bring him out of his shell?" she muttered under her breath, thinking to herself. "I'll only consider it if you are truly dedicated to taking on Ralts and are willing to accommodate his 'situation. Can you prove that to me?'"

[Casso]

Oh dear....prove...that one word would be the Professors downfall. The word prove meant to be taken as a challenge...at least in Casso's mind. The girl nodded to the first part, that no other Pokemon interested her. It was the Professors unfortunate word choice that had sealed it for Casso...the simple 'prove'.

The girl grinned, her competitive nature coming into play. Yes she was outgoing, but when was that a bad thing? The female looked at the professor,"I'll prove it to you no matter what!" she pretty much shouted, though because of where she was she tried at least to keep her voice down.

The girl was so screwed...she was so hyper competitive the Professor could have said the Ralts gives anyone who touches it Cancer and she would have still taken the creature...I mean sure it was cute and liked to scare people...both traits she enjoyed herself...but that competitive edge is what sealed the deal. One can judge imagine the 'anime fire of determination' in her eyes and in the background.

Professor Storm smiled, watching the girl, her eyes were a light with a fiery passion and she clearly had the determination and willingness to take on the challenge, even if she didn't quite know how to express it.

"Okay, okay, calm down..." she smiled, making 'stop' motions with her hand. "Ralts?" she questioned, looking down to the psychic type as he teleported to be beside the Professor. "What do you think?". Ultimately, it was the pokemons choice and if he didnt feel comfortable, then he wouldnt go.

He slowly approached the young girl....

Professor Storm added, a bit of hesitation in her voice. She was nervous to let Ralts go but this girl seemed to have feelings for the Ralts and she was confident the trainer would take care of him. Just incase, she pulled a card from her lab coat, handing it to the girl. "You'll find my number and email address there. And I think that's everything now, you're set".

Casso had won...yes! The female grinned as the little Ralts came towards her....that means she got the cutie right? RIGHT!? The female looked over to the professor as she talked on and on...her email and number were all in the package with the stuff she got. The girl nodded,"Okay then, thanks again~" The female looked at the Ralts with a smile...forming a small idea in her head. She looked down at the Ralts,"You ready to go Raltsy?" She asked the Pokemon...her evil plan was now to scare her brother.
