Unsurprisingly for his species, Axel isa bitextremely slow. He doesn't react to much, and it's rarely more than a simple, slow tilt of the head and a blank stare. He's extremely patient, although some would translate this as plain obliviousness to the world around him (which is probably the case). Axel is rather shy and tends to hide when there are strangers around, but will immediately warm up to them if presented with berries, his favourite food.

Donna's disposition contrasts sharply with her trainer's and many of her teammates' by being happy-go-lucky, easygoing, and a bit timid around strangers. She acts as a maternal figure for the group and is often the one to break up fights among them, sometimes with the help of Portia (though the latter is not nearly as gentle about it). Despite her caring nature, she's learned from Camilla's training that a battle is no place to patronise the opponent, which leads the otherwise docile Bastiodon to become a force to be reckoned with if dragged into a fight.

Like her trainer, Portia is strong-willed, independent, and ruthless in battle, having long gotten over her bashfulness and melancholy from when she was a Cubone. She has a great sense of honour and would much rather fight fiercely to the very end rather than give up. Her speech is laced with grandiose words and a presumptious tone, like she considers herself to be some kind of regal lady of war. Despite her pride, Portia is one of the most self-controlled of Camilla's Pokémon and often has to restrain her teammates when they get out of hand (though not without much snarky commentary and disdain).

While Leia shares Portia and Camilla's penchant forviolencebattling, her attitude differs slightly in that she is reckless, loud, whiny, and very foul-mouthed. The personality clash means that she often butts heads with Portia, but neither of them would hesitate to jump to the other's defense if needed (not that they'd ever admit out loud that they actually care for each other, though). Leia is extremely impatient and tends to dive eagerly into fights without thinking ahead (a habit which really pisses her trainer off).
