Lucas let out a 'yes!' and clenched his fist as the Bubble attack was successful. However, his celebration only lasted for a second or two, as the Stanler quickly started to retaliate. Corphish started to follow the Stanler's movements, and were it not for Lucas's quick thinking then the Corphish would have been fast asleep on the floor. "Corphish, shield your eyes with your claws!" Lucas called out.
The Corphish quickly covered it's eyes with it's claws, successfully blocking the Hypnosis attack. "Now, use Bubble!" Lucas called. The Corphish turned it's claws so that she could peek out at the Stanler. She then aimed her claws at the deer Pokemon before opening them and firing a mass of bubbles at the Stanler, hoping to hit it again.
Elekid was confused for a moment when the Grovyle seemed to disappear into mid-air. However, Elekid then remembered how the Grovyle used Quick Attack to travel at fast speeds. However, he realized this a second too late, as the Grovyle had already slightly pushed him. Elekid quickly got up and pouted at the Grovyle, before planting his own feet. He then used his own Quick Attack in the same way that Grovyle did, abeit a lot slower, and once behind the grass Pokemon tried to use his Low Kick attack to put the Pokemon on his behind.

Poor Stantler. The yearling was going to get his first Pokemon asleep! He was doing so well. He was getting a little full of himself even. And then, just when it looked like the Corphish was going to be out, BOOM! She covered her eyes. Stantler didn't snap his head back at first, he was too stunned too. Thusly, the Bubble hit him right in the face. He snorted out water, shaking his head. Ouch, he was partially blinded from that attack. Stantler took a few steps back, getting his legs tangled up so that he fell on the ground, legs coming apart and splaying every which way. He let out a loud bellowing call, hoping for reinforcements. At least his mother, if not the herd leader! He was still trying to untangle himself when a larger Stantler came bounding out of the woods. The four and a half foot, nearly two hundred pound, eight pointed buck turned his eyes firstly upon the down yearling, and then to Lucas. He looked back at the yearling and snorted. 'You're a moron, you know that, right?'The yearling's eyes widened at the harsh words that he was given. 'Buh..but...Dad!'The older, larger buck shook his head, turning to face Lucas and the Corphish. He did a bow and stepped back. 'Proceed, dear Corphish. He needs to learn for himself, after all.'The larger Pokemon took a few more steps back, standing by the bushes. He could always drag the stupid yearlings body back to the herd for recovery. Said stupid yearling stood up, trembling now. He looked back at the larger buck, and then to the Corphish. His trembling legs hardly supported him, but he still tried to race forward to deliever a decent Tackle to the smaller Pokemon. His father and herd leader nodded his head. [Big shot herd leader: Level: 19 Gender: Male Age???: He's like, seven or something. Older than your little yearling. Moves: Tackle, Leer, Astonish, Hypnosis, Stomp, and Sand Attack. Ability: Intimidate and Frisk [but mostly Intimidate xD]
You won't have to fight him unless you want too.]

Arms still crossed, Galena watched the battle and the trainer with what appeeared to be mild apathy. He was decent enough, but that was just it. He stuck to conventional tactics, and while he had the right instincts that alone would likely cost him battles. This was admittedly the only one she'd actually watched, but if him getting tripped up over the Mightyena completely ignoring his pokemon and going straight for the trainer himself earlier was any sign, he was still a rookie, and a inexperienced one at that. Most trainers eventually left their home regions to visit elsewhere after only so long, and Galena was guessing he'd never even left the Star region since becoming a trainer. As she as silently critiquing his battle skills she noticed both Grovyle toying with the Elekid that had decided it wanted a piece of him, but paid little mind to it before diverting her attention to the second Stantler that had entered the clearing.
Grovyle, for his part, was beginning to grow tired of the duel between himself and the Electric type. As it was the smaller pokemon was hopelessly outmatched, and he either didn't realize it or didn't care, and while the latter may have been considered bravery by some it was simply foolish in this case. The instant the Elekid used Quick Attack to try and emulate Grovyle's tactic, the Grass pokemon disappeared again before reappearing where the Elekid had previously been, already facing the smaller pokemon and well out of range when it tried to follow up with what Grovyle recognized as a Low Kick. He was really starting to get somewhat irritated now - trying to beat Grovyle in an unwinnable contest of speed was one thing, but even if there wasn't any sport to be had Grovyle would reciprocate Elekid's thirst for a fight blow for blow if the little Electric pokemon decided he wanted an actual battle, and he wouldn't hesitate to get serious if any more techniques were thrown his way. Standing in place with his eyes still locked on his opponent, Grovyle silently waited as he let Elekid decide how he wanted to let things play out.
