Daybreak's body remained tensed as she kept her psychic power working around the Pupitar, who showed no signs of letting up the barrage of attacks on the weaker Makuhita. The protective barrier the Espeon was casting around the Hard-Shell pokemon was doing its job, managing to lessen the impact of Pupitar's phsyical attacks against the fighting-type pokemon, but regardless the Makuhita didnt stand a chance, being thrown against rocks, dislodging them in the process.
"Espeon!" [/color] she cried with worry at the sight of rocks falling toward the Metagross, Swampert, and frightened Sandshrew. Her tiny nostrils flared with a small sigh of relief as the Iron Leg pokemon caught the rubble with its own psychic abilities and gently lowered it to the side, out of the way of harming anything or anyone. Looking back to the Pupitar, the Espeon kept the barrier moving as the relentless attacks continued, hopefully, not for much longer, seeing as the Makuhita would be pummeled in no time against the rock- and ground-type pokemon. Alyssa watched Slate's Pupitar move against the Makuhita in silence. The small Arm-Thrust pokemon hadnt had a chance to begin with. Why it had decided to be so rude as to awaken Pupitar, Alyssa didnt know, but, now it was getting...essentially what it had asked for. Looking over to Swampert, confident that Espeon's position had not changed in the slightest, she saw the little Sandshrew practically hop into his open arms before the boulders fell, curling up in his large hands. Swam...Swampert! the mud fish cried delightedly as the small mouse showed no fear against his grasp. Moving his large hands slightly, he rolled the Sandshrew gently between both of his palms, glancing upwards at the sound of falling rock, prepared to dart out of the way as needed, but tensing his muscles turned out to be all for nothing, for the Metagross beside him quickly removed the danger. Looking back down at the Sandshrew, he raised the little ball to his eyes and tilted his head to the side curiously.[/blockquote]

A Wild pokemon has appeared!MakuhitaMale, level 15 Attacks: Tackle, Focus Energy, Sand Attack and Arm Thrust SandshrewFemale, level 9 Attacks: Scratch, Defense Curl, Sand Attack and Poison Sting
Falling to the ground he came out to his sense just in time to be placed a side by Metagross's whatever it was. He didn't know this was the first time he had encountered pokemon like these. It had also been the first time he had encountered a pokemon that fought back against his bullying rather then just squirmed away. He was use to scared little pokemon like the Sandshrew who was titling her head to copy Swampert's actions.
Oh well it wasn't like he didn't have this coming to him. This meaning someone stronger then he standing up to him. However he didn't want to be killed by some strange pokemon with no arms. Standing up he looked at the Pupitar who was looking at him. Taking a step back it was clear that he was scared so in an attempt to give himself some cover to run and hide from the mistake he had made by waking her up he used sand attack mind you it wasn't as Strong as it could have been due to him being weakened by Pupitar's first attack. None the less he aimed for her eyes. Ones the attack was going and sand flew in the air he would turn and try to run away.
Makuhita Target: Pupitar Attack used: Sand attack
Sandshrew Target: Swampert Attacks used: None

Pupitar was, if possible, even further enraged by the Makuhita's follow up Sand Attack, and despite being momentarily blinded by the sand in her eyes she propelled herself forward again for another Iron Head attack, aiming for where she had last seen the fighting type.
Back on the edge of the battle field, Slate merely waited for it to end, head lowered, eyes closed and his left hand pinching the bridge of his nose. He had no delusions of stepping in to try and end things - as it was he had no desire to get caught in a stray attack, and he knew full well what his chances were of calming down or stopping Pupitar at this point. Alyssa's Espeon was doing about all that could be done without actually knocking Pupitar out, so Slate would simply wait there until things ended.

Alyssa sighed a bit and put her hands in her pocket, watching all the events before her unfold at a considerably rapid pace as opposed to the rather quiet time it had just been. Looking at Swampert, her ears caught his voice again as the Sandshrew appeared to unroll itself from the protective ball and look at him with the same curiosity he was showing it. Swampert, Swampert! She couldnt help but feel a bit of a smile tug at her lips. She had known Swampert since he was a tiny Mudkip. He was playful, naturally curious, and kind to other pokemon, even those he didnt know, like this tiny Sandshrew. Her gaze traveled to the Pupitar, and she thought to herself, Just...dont make Swampert angry... She recalled one time, where in Hoenn she was faced with a band of Team Magma grunts, and they had simply enraged Swampert.
She could only stand by and watch as practically the terrain changed, seeing as Swampert had unleashed upon them a barrage of Earthquake, Ice Beam, and Hydro Pump. He hadnt paid mind to her voice trying to call him back until the grunts and their pokemon were knocked out cold. Shaking her head, she was thankful that Swampert's generally mild nature was shining through now. She glanced at Slate, who was standing with his fingers pinching the bridge of his nose. Looking back at the scene, she asked "Does this...happen often?" curiously.
He had mentioned before Pupitar's temper, and her relatively small prior knowledge from observing them told her enough about how most Pupitars in general acted. She glanced at Daybreak, knowing her friend was doing all that she could to muffle Pupitar's blows against the young Makuhita without actually coming down and unleashing an assault of Psychic attacks. "Oh Daybreak..." she murmured, watching the cat-like Pokemon as its forked tail twitched back and forth nervously. "You always did try to do as much good as possible..."
