"Ooh, an Absol..."
Revenge's head came up more, his eyes now scanning the girl and her Pokemon. The Skarmory seemed like he would be the most threatening, followed by the Makuhita, and ending with the Growlithe, even though the last was probably the one that would injure him the most.
"Um, hello..."
Regret dropped his head slightly, and then turned around, almost as though he had been called. Peering back the way he had come, he could see Seb running a head of Minnie. It didn't take long for the other level fifty Pokemon to barrel headfirst into Revenge's paws, making the Absol growl softly.
A few more minutes brought Minnie into the speck view, and Revenge sighed, turning back around.
Aaabbb
His reply to the girl's hello as Seb crawled onto his head, getting a view of the other Pokemon with his gem eyes.

Well, that Absol didn't seem to be aggressive, at least. That was a plus. However, the though of a random natural disaster still spooked Janessa, and so she wasn't quite being herself. She slowly sat down as the Absol turned around, and then leaned to the side to try and see what the Absol was looking at. After staring for a moment, Janessa finally saw something... a Pokemon, running towards them. She quickly realized what it was- A Sableye. Wait, did those Pokemon live here? She knew that Absol did, but she couldn't remember if Sableye did or not.
Janessa raised her eyebrows in surprise as the two Pokemon interacted. Obviously, they knew each other. So either Sableye did live in this area, or... they were part of a trainer's team. She was hoping for the second option- it would mean that this Pokemon's appearance wasn't a bad omen. Janessa crossed her fingers in her lap, and then decided to greet the newcomer.
"Hi." She said simply, a small smile on her lips. She glanced around at her Pokemon, wondering how they were reacting. Ganbaatar was merely staring, Nero looked like he was about to explode because he wanted to battle so bad, and Pyro had gone back to eating, only glancing up every once in a while.

Seeing the Makuhita and Skarmory staring like they where was making Revenge, and Seb, a little nervous. The gem Pokemon turned around on Revenge's head, waving his arms wildly. Minnie, who could now see her two Pokemon, started to run as Seb flagged her down, almost falling backwards onto Revenge's sythe.
"There you two are, wh-Oh, hi."
Minnie gave a little laugh when she saw the girl sitting with her Pokemon, and she reached out, removing Seb from Revenge and holding him like she would a child. The Pokemon, whom she had for three years, snuggled against her white shirt, shedding purple fur onto it, though the woman didn't mind to much.
"Sorry if Revenge and Seb spooked you. I'm a little slower heading down mountain's than they are."
She gave a small laugh, patting Revenge's head, though the male slipped sideways at the last second, dodging her touch and moving to sit away from her, staring at her like Ganbaatar had been staring at him.
"Oh, I'm Minnie, but everyone, and I mean everyone, calls me Absol, even though it's highly unprofessional of them to do so most of the time."
She laughed, adjusting her headband on her head. Absol's didn't have ears, but these where white Absol ears on her head. She almost always paused for a little between speaking, and this didn't fail even now as she studied the other girl's Pokemon.
"Gorgeous...are you a breeder or a trainer, because that Skarmory looks like he belongs to a breeder, so well taken care of compared to what I've been seeing of trainer's pokemon recently."
Minnie didn't remind herself that the Pokemon she had seen had just went through another Elite Four member, though she would do good to remind herself of that the next time she made one of those comments.

"Oh!" Janessa exclaimed softly as she saw a trainer come running down the pathway. She stood up and smiled slightly. She had been wondering what that Sableye had been doing, waving his arms around in the air like a madman... it all made a bit more sense now. "Hello!" She replied after Minnie greeted her, with her smile growing a bit bigger.
"Oh, its okay. They did kinda startle me a bit, I'm not gonna lie..." Janessa stated with a chuckle. "And its nice to meet you, Minnie. My name is Janessa... I won't bother telling you my nicknames, because I have wayyy too many." Janessa grinned as she said this.
She looked back at Ganbaatar as Minnie mentioned him. The Skarmory stepped forwards to stand by his trainer when he heard himself become the subject of conversation. He blinked warily, but obviously, Minnie meant no harm, so he eventually began to relax. "Oh, I'm a trainer. Thanks so much, I do try to take care of my Pokemon. I treat them like humans as much as possible, instead of like little playthings or pets. It makes them happier."

Minnie shook her head at Revenge, the Absol sticking his head up into the air.
"Oh, where you on your way up to battle the Elite Four?"
A tinge of worry touched the woman's voice. It she was heading up, Minnie had come down from the prison for nothing, and lacked a flying type to get back up quickly. Of course, Revenge could carry her, even if he didn't like it much.
"Revenge, come here you silly thing."
The male had, mean while, began to investigate the Growlithe and the Growlithe's food, which probably wasn't a bright idea. No matter what level, there was always that moment when one realizes that they've probably just put their foot in their mouthes, and Revenge did this when he reached out with one paw and pulled the bowl towards him, snickering slightly.

"Oh, no, we're definitely not ready to challenge the elite four." Janessa replied quickly with a smile and a chuckle. "Not even close. I just wanted to get close enough to see the Elite Four Building, so that I could kind of inspire myself into working harder, y'know?" She explained, sounding slightly bashful. It sounded kind of weird when she was trying to explain it, but it had made total sense in her head and it hadn't sounded the slightest bit odd when she had the idea to come here... oh well.
Pyro, meanwhile, was watching the Absol warily as it began to come closer to him and his food. He gave a very soft warning growl at first. But then when the Absol began to pull the bowl of food away, there wasn't any hesitation in Pyro's reaction- the Absol got an ember to the face, and the Pryo quickly took his food back.
(EXP from that short little paragraph: about 70)
Janessa turned around just in time to see Pyro attack the Absol with an ember attack. "Oi! What's goin' on over there?" She called out sternly. In response to Janessa's question, Pyro pulled his bowl of food cloer to him, and glared angrily at the Absol.

Revenge's head snapped back, his eyes wide from the attack. He growled himself and opened his jaws, firing a Dark Pulse at the other Pokemon. Point blank Dark Pulse from a level fifty Absol. Ow.
[[Word Count: 36]]
"Revenge! Return!"
The Absol snapped away from the beam of light, ruby eyes glittering. He wasn't ready to be sucked back up just yet. Oh no, the wild male was tired of being in a Pokeball, and tired of being treated like he was still level fifteen.
"Revenge! Seb, go and get him."
Seb, peeking up at his trainer, shook his head and buried his face back into the woman's stomache, giving a soft 'syb' in response.

Pyro glared viciously at the Absol, absolutely unafraid. That is, until he was hit right in the face with a point-blank Dark Pulse attack from the unbelievably strong Absol. He had absolutely no chance of surviving that. He was thrown backwards about ten or fifteen feet, completely and utterly unconcious.
(Aw, poor Pyro. D= EXP: 60 Total: 130)
Then things kind of... exploded. Janessa shouted out Pyro's name and went running to him, kneeling down next to him.
At the same time, both Ganbaatar and Nero were very enraged at the Absol. Ganbaatar screeched angrily, and Nero let out a sort of war-cry, letting the Absol know that he was very ticked off. Both of Janessa's Pokemon attacked with a sand attack, so the Absol would have a whole lot of dirt and dust and sand suddenly flying towards him from both sides. Then Ganbaatar used Agility as he prepared to beat the crap out of the Pokemon who had just totally and completely one-hit KO'd his buddy. Nero had the same sort of strategy, using a Focus Energy and then waiting, staring intently at the Absol, waiting for some sort of reaction.
(EXP to be split between the two Pokemon: 200)
Janessa, meanwhile, was pretty much ignoring the battle going on behind her. She was stroking her Growlithe, muttering angry words and wishing she had a revive. Then, with a sigh, she grabbed Pyro's pokeball and returned her unconcious Pokemon to it. She slowly stood and and turned around, and tried to figure out exactly what was going on. She tried not to look too angry.

"Oh my...I'm so sorry! I'd love to say that Revenge is normally a well tempered Absol, but that would be lying. Oh, why didn't I keep Regret with me..."
The male, meanwhile, was busy wipping grit from his eyes with one paw, spluttering with rage. He shook his head again, rain clouds piling in from practically no where. The male showed his sharp fangs as he lowered the front part of his body to the ground, electricty begining to strike down from the sky. Thunder had a very odd accuracy, so it was unknown until the last second if the attack would just dance around or actually hit the other Pokemon.
[[Word Count: 115]]
Minnie bit her lip, finally detatching her clingy Sableye from her shirt and setting him on the ground.
"Seb! Use Confuse Ray on Revenge, and then use Zen Headbutt!"
Seb shook his head, and a light emitted from his eyes. When Revenge turned his head to look at the Sableye, he was entranced. He shook his head, but was staggering on his paws at that point.
The smaller Pokemon lowered his head, the top part between his pointed ears glowing blue. He charged forwards, missing Revenge by a hairs breath and sliding to a stop behind the larger, confused, Pokemon.
[[Word Count: 100 for Seb]]
---- Revenge-151/2500=2349 until level up Seb-100/2500=2400 until level up

As Minnie's apology, most of Janessa's anger faded, and she smiled just slightly. It was nearly impossible for her to stay angry at anyone for any reason. "That's okay." She replied softly. Then she flinched as she saw the Thunder attack start raining down upon them. Moving fast as lightnigh (lolol, I'm so funny...) she snatched her Pokemon's pokeballs and returned them. She breathed a sigh of relief, but the relief was short lived. Nero suddenly popped out of his pokeball- he was caught off guard by the sudden return to his little sphere and he wanted to make sure that he wasn't missing anything.
Janessa sighed- this time with exasperation- and put one of her hands on her hip. "Oi, Nero." She mumbled, shaking her head. Nero was staring at the Absol, who had somehow become confused, and was looking very disoriented. "Don't even think about it, you. You can battle later." She told her Pokemon firmly. Nero grunted in response, not looking very happy. But this time when Janessa returned him to his pokeball, he didn't try to escape.
Janessa looked up with a strange smile and then shrugged at Minnie. "They certainly are a handful... but we gotta love 'em anyways..." She commented with a soft laugh.

Minnie was releived when the other trainer managed, by nothing short of a miracle, Minnie thought, to return her Pokemon. With them gone, and Revenge confused, it was easy to put him back in his Pokeball, and it didn't take much to call Seb to her.
"Yeah, I'd hate to be without them, however much of a pain they can be. I've had my Absol's for almost as long as I've had Umbr, and I can't imagine life without them."
She gave a thin laugh, petting Seb's head. One of her other Pokeball's rattled on her waist, the one she had just recently gotten, and she blinked, enlarging it and allowing the Pokemon out. For a few seconds, it looked like it might have been a huge mistake.
The Spearrow flared his wings and dove down, only to pull up and sqwake, quite loudly, down at Nero. What could have been a challenge was not really one from the overly exitable, highly untrainable Spearrow.
"Hey Roe, come down here!"
Minnie had produced, from her fanny pack, a leather glove which she stuck on her arm before holding it out to the bird of prey. The Tiny Bird Pokemon landed on her arm and let out another loud sqwake, almost demanding attention from his trainer. She couldn't very well let go of Seb, once against cuddled in her arm against her stomach, as the Sableye had some very sharp claws, which Minnie didn't feel like being introduced too again.
"Sorry, I just recently got Roe from the Adoption Center. He was to rowdy for his last trainer, though I think I can handle him."
She took an Avian hood from her bag and hooded the bird, teathering him to her arm for the time being. He stood still, looking almost docile, though Minnie knew he was only acting.

Janessa nodded as Minnie spoke about her Pokemon. She smiled slightly, wondering what it would be like to have lived with your Pokemon for so long... well, she would find out eventually, wouldn't she? Janessa sighed softly, anxious for that day to come.
Then, she noticed that Minnie had been surprised by something. Janessa followed Minnie's gaze to the wiggling pokeball on her waist. And then blinked in surprise as the Spearow was suddenly released. A soft little, "oh!" escaped through her lips as the Spearow squawked loudly at Nero just before she returned him for the second time.
"Oh, I see! Yeah, I got my Pyro from the Adoption Center. I s'pose he was a bit of a handful for her last trainer- he's a bit of a trickster and a prankster- but he's been just fine for me, so far. It must've been a younger trainer who had him first." Janessa mused thoughtfully. Then she shrugged. She then looked down and around her, at all of the uneaten food.
"Well... have you eaten breakfast already? I got human food here, too, not just Pokemon munchies..." Janessa said, slowly lowering herself to the ground and picking up an apple to munch on.
