Kisara, relaxing a little, snapped her fingers and had Drain return to her side, the fire pup sitting next to her, head tilting to one side.
"We're really not that good....But that's the first battle either one of us, let alone our Pokemon, have fought in, so I guess that we both did really well."
Kisara reached into her bag and pulled out a potion, spraying Drain's nose with it as the canine wriggled his nose back. The pink haired girl accepted the phone number, pulling out her compostion notebook and a pencil quickly.
She jotted down Sunny's number, and then put her number on the back of the sheet Sunny had given her, passing it back. She turned the page and made a few quick circles, knowing that she could always look back at her Pokedex if she really wanted to sketch a Spinda and Smoochum, but she needed those circles first.
"Thanks, I'll save it on my mobile, and here's my number."
She smiled brightly, putting the empty potion bottle in her bag and picking up Drain, the canine wagging his tail slightly, looking up at his trainer intently. He jumped from her arms and took off into the woods, causing her to sigh softly.
"Sorry, I've got to go and find him now. Thanks for the great battle, and bye!"
She waved over her shoulder quickly as she took off after the bouncing fire Pokemon.

Creepy crawlies? That was a fairly accurate way to describe the two Pokemon that encountered Dain. An wild Ekans and a wild Spinarak- who appeared to be very good friends- were having a little race through the woods. They were quite the pair... rough and tumble, you could call them. As they ran they wrestled and jumped and all sorts of other things that you might expect to see a pair of best buddies doing. So caught up were they in their play (lol, rhyming... xD) that they didn't notice the fire-type canine until they quite literally ran right into him. The Ekans was slithering speedily right in the canina's path, and was run over and stepped on, and he had possibly tripped Dain. The Spinarak ran right into one of the back paws of the energetic pooch, and it sent him scooting backwards along the ground for a foot or two, but no damage was really done to the spiderish-looking Pokemon. (Okiedokie! ^_^)
<Oh! Oh, oops!> The wild Spinarak shouted, scuttling over to his trodden-on friend. <Sorry, we were having a race! And, and we didn't- are you okay?- we didn't see you there. I think I was winning- who is that human? Ack! I'm sorry! But of course I was winning. I always win. Well, except for once... oh no! Human, don't be mad at me. Oh, look! You're like a... a... a bear! Like a Teddiursa but different! Do you like racing? Ekans, are you hurt?> The Spinarak rambled on and on. He was very easily distracted and he couldn't really stay on one train of thought for very long.
Obviously, the Ekans was used to the Spinarak's random rambling and changing of subjects. He slithered around so that he could see all of the others, and nodded when the Spinarak asked if he was okay. The Ekans eyed the human warily- he didn't really like the way the trainer had yelled at them. However, the Ekans found the Spinda to be much easier to get along with. <Sorry. Like Spinarak said, we were having a race, and its hard to see past all the shrubs and stuff here...> He apologized, while keeping a wary eye on the human.

(Okayokay, so, my posts are gonna be rubbish because I've got a lot on my plate right now, and I'm using up all of my typing energies for my tournament thread and other battle threads... D: Sorry!)
The Ekans produced a little disapproving 'humph' as the human apologized. The Spinarak, meanwhile, was talking to himself, going on and on about something having to do with bears and food. Then when a battle was mentioned, the Spinarak's attention was drawn back to the conversation.
<Battle? Battle? I can do battle! So can Ekans- we love to do battle, don't we, Ekans? Oh yes. Wow, battle a bear. Are you mean? Mean little bear. Naw, I don't think so. Oh, the others battle? That yellow thing with the leaves battles? And that little pinky blobby with the yellow mop on top? Cool! I love to do battle. Ekansekansekansekans, we gotta do battle fast so that we can get back to our race. Like a race-to-battle-to-race. Quick-like. And I'm gonna win! Oh, and-> The Spinarak blabbled, before the Ekans finally interrupted.
<Yes! Obviously, Spinarak loves to battle... and I admit, I'm partial to it, to. So. Can you handle a two on two? I...> The Ekans left that thought unfinished as he began to prepare for the battle. He slithered backwards a bit- quite interesting to watch- and then waited. Spinarak scuttled over to stand near his buddy, and then danced from foot to foot as he also waited for the others.

The spinarak greatly amused Sunny, unfortunately she found the Ekans a little disagreeable. She had apologised, despite the whole episode being his fault to begin with and his response was to take that attitude with her? It wasn't right but she wasn't going to dwell on it any longer as Spinda proposed a battle. "Great idea, Spinda!" she smiled. <A two on two battle, should be okay, right Sunny?< the little bear asked, peering up at his trainer. By this time, Spinda had hopped forward into the battle field. Sunny now had to decide on his partner, and as Smoochum was still recovering from her prior battle with Drain, Sunkern was the only other option. He seemed nervous at first as she placed him on the ground. "You just try your best, and if you don't feel up to it, you can just come out.." she told him and he hopped, a little more reassured, over beside Spinda to start.
Sunkern had decided to start off with a Growth attack. He hopped back a few paces behind Spinda. This way he could be protected as he absorbed the energy for growth and subsequently raise his attack power. The little seed body began to glow, absorbing light and energy from the air around him, causing his body to expand to twice its regular size. With his attack power increased, he was more confident in taking on the racing pair. As Sunkern charged, Spinda was ready to begin. The best option to begin with was to keep them at a distance, giving his partner the time he needed to get ready for the battle and with only one long range attack, there was limitations to what he could do. He drew his arms back, channeling energy between his hands. The ball swirled slowly, increasing in pace and size until it swirled with a force too much to contain and he thrust the ball forward, sending it racing towards the Spinark and Ekans. ---------------------------------------------------------------- Status:Complete Pokemon team: □ □ □ Word count: 330 Experience gained: 330 + 75 level difference = 405 Experience needed for next level: Spinda: 250/250 = level up. 155/300 Sunker: 250/250 = level up. 155/300 Total EXP: 405 each. <Watch->
<-out!>
Both of the wild Pokemon shouted at the same time as the strange ball of light came whizzing towards them. The two of them jumped to the side and then grinned at each other. It was kind of cute, how they worked together- however they were so used to battling with each other that they might pose quite a bit of a challenge for Sunny and her Pokemon.
Ekans started off right away, firing off two Poison Stings- one at the Spinda, one and the Sunkern. They weren't very well aimed, however. After he shot off these two attacks he backed up a bit, thinking of his next attack while also trying to watch both of his enemies. A bit difficult to do.
While his buddy the Ekans was going on the offensive, the Spinarak was scuttling around to the side, as if looking for a good angle to attack from. He was muttering to himself. However, when the Ekans attacked with his Poison Stings, the Spinarak whined loudly.
<Aww, I wanted to be the first to attack!> He complained. But then, he suddenly widened his eyes, realizing that he probably had just attracted attention to his whereabouts when he was trying to be kinda sneaky. So he used a Scary Face- with a bit of luck the attack would affect both the Spinda and the Sunkern.

Despite being naturally shy, especially in comparison to his Smoochum partner, Spinda leapt confidently into battle, throwing himself infront of the path of the more terrified Sunkern. As th first barb came at him, he thurst his stubby arm out, knocking the first barb to the side and out of harms way. The second barb embedded in the tiny bear's arm. Gritting his teeth to bare the pain, he grasped the poison sting with his paws, yanking it swiftly out of his arm. The barb was flung to the side as he inspected his wound. There seemed to be no lasting effects of the poison as he wiggled the arm with no difficulty.
On the other hand, the barbs flying towards them had frightened Sunkern half to death and he shuddered violently on the field, the confidence from his growth having been shattered completely. "Come back!" shouted Sunny, as she dropped to her knees, hands furiously rumaging through her white cotton bag. The seed pokemon wasting no time in bouncing back to his owners feet. "I have something for you.." she smiled reassuringly, pulling a golden coloured jagged rock from her pack. "It will make you big and strong" she explained, stroking the little seed as she placed the stone near him. It was an odd sensation for the little pokemon as he felt his body tremble and become surrounded by a white light. He could feel himselef changing. From the bottom for the seed capsule sprouted two grass green legs, the hard shell casing giving way into a body with two large leafy arms. His face erupted as a flower would in bloom with petals bursting all around his now large flat yellow face. "Congratulations, Sunflora" the girl smiled in glee at her pokemon's evolution. She had purchased the stone from the mart around the same time she brought him home. "Go back out there, you've got nothing to worry about now" she urged the pokemon, who'd now grown to a metre in size compared to the thirty centimetres he used to stand at.
Standing taller than the other three pokemon, Sunflora nodded slowly and turning round, waddling back into the battle field - slowly getting used to the idea of walking on legs rather than hopping everywhere. Sunflora looked to where the Spinarak had spoke, giving away his position. Using his now found power, he clapped his leafy hands together, the petals around his head dancing and beginning to glow a soft yellow as he made an attempt to absorb the energy of the Spinarak to restore some of his own. Content with his partners new found strength, Spinda began to totter back and forth, waving his arms wildly and creating a loud racket to go along with it, hoping his uproar would dsitract the Ekans towards him and would prevent anyone from falling asleep.

Both of the wild Pokemon seemed to have the same reaction as the Sunkern began to glow, and then took on a totally different form. <...WHAT.> They both half-shouted, distraught by the sudden change in opponents.
The Ekans frowned. <Man, stupid trainers, always messin' with a decent battle.> He mumbled to himself. The Spinarak merely gaped, open-mouthed, and was hit very easily by the Absorb attack.
This ticked the Ekans quite a bit. With a vicious hiss, he charged at the Sunflora, attempted to Wrap himself around the flower-like Pokemon. And whether or not that worked, immediately afterwards he tried to sink his poison-tipped teeth into the Sunflora's leafy shoulder- a Poison Sting attack.
The Spinarak freaked out a bit as suddenly the battle exploded. Some energy was sucked out, then Ekans was attacking the Sunflora, and then the Spinda was shouting and really hurting his ears... In retaliation, he used Scary Face on the Spinda, and then attempted to tangle the Spinda in a String Shot.
